wow, i just realized desmond is a badass. not only are people hoping that he shows up in the finale of lost, people are totally expecting him to come back in the finale of 24. thats pimp.

what the fuck is it with you people and desmond? he's a minor character that was in what, three episodes? the most likely plot twist is that someone on the island that we have always trusted is an other. besides we know that michelle rodriguez has been written off. build around that.

maybe its because

desmond may know what the hatch is for, how it got there, how HE got there, etc

much more interesting than how Mrod is gonna eat it

Quote :
"NEW YORK, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- "Lost" creator J.J. Abrams was quoted Tuesday saying the character of Ana Lucia would not be killed off because of her portrayer's legal woes.

Abrams denied widely published reports the character played by Michelle Rodriguez was being written out of the hit ABC show because of her latest drunken driving arrest in Hawaii and her general bad attitude on the set, the New York Post reported.

However, Abrams told SciFi Wire the report was both "erroneous and silliness."

"There's a lot of stuff that has happened that's extracurricular, and it's in the news," Abrams said. "It becomes fodder for speculation.""

and there will be a desmond-centric episode near the end of this season, so everyone gg

"Two for the Road" is Ana Lucia centric so maybe are going to tie some things up before they supposedly kill her off? I don't know, she hasn't contributed much to the story, they might as well kill her off.

Oh and as a sidenote... JJ Abrams just signed on to write/direct the next Star Trek movie.

It will be written by Abrams and his partners, and focus on the early days of James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock, including their first meeting at Starfleet Academy and first mission. With Abrams at the helm, this should fulfill every fan boys dream, as long as their dream was to have a 'Star Trek' movie that's brilliant for about an hour and then rambling and unfocused and boring. Tonights episode is yet another useless clip show. Please let ABC know what a waste these shows are by not watching....right now theyve realized America is too dumb to not watch Lost when its a rerun or a clipshow, hence the annoying irregular schedule.

I've decided Alias season 1 might be my favorite over all out of Lost, Alias and 24... I need to rewatch the early seasons of 24 and convince myself otherwise :-)

And P.S. I hope they find a hatch on the Enterprise

the beginning of the first season of 24 was kind of boring

it took like 6 episodes for the plot to get somewhere

it still has that problem now, but we expect it

the first 6 were the best of the entire series

they ruined the show with 'plot'.

WHAT IN THE WORLD? This is crazy that LOST is on such an irregular schedule. Does anyone share my same frustration? Every week I get so excited to watch LOST and then it's either not on, it's a rerun, or it's a receap episode. The show is going to start losing watchers if the writers and producers don't figure out how to make LOST a weekly show...

yea, i bet the schedule the show runs is its worst enemy. Why cant they just run the show in 8 week blocks, and show the more important episodes during the breaks.

Yeah the scheduling factor is a joke...I make plans to watch with no interruptions and it is not a "new" episode...how fucked up is that

good shows shouldn't waste air time with catch-up episodes

if they showed it without month long breaks, we wouldn't need them

but they know people will watch

and that's just sad

final two of the season?

hopefully i can manage to not watch them AND not find out what happens

i wonder is

watching them without knowing what happened hte last 3 new episodes
would be worse than
watching them in a couple months knowing what happens

no, they won't.

you don't like it, then stop watching.

be happy you get excited about a show at all, I can't think of many others that cause people to be so uppity about it skipping a week here or there.

and recognize that there's nothing the people involved with the show can do about it, it's all in the hands of ABC.

they're on such a shit schedule because they're basically producing them as they air. as in, they don't have four episodes in the can right now ready to air. they're slow on production, and ABC has to put up with them.

that's not true either.

they are producing them pretty much as they air, but that's not why they have a gap between some new episodes.

actually JJ Abrams just said in an interview that ^these^ reports aren't true. He more than likely will be producing it and though he was offered the job of directing it as well, he is not commited to that. AKA Turned it down

No, the shit schedule is because some people are too stupid not to watch reruns, and ABC has recognized that ratings for reruns are actually competing with new episodes of shows on other networks. The same thing happens with Desperate Housewives and Greys Anatomy to some extent, so I wouldnt necessarily blame the Lost producers.

SPOILER ALERT (although nothing you can't find in TV Guide):

May 3, 2006 - "Two For The Road" Ana-Lucia flashback
May 10, 2006 - "?" Eko flashback
May 17, 2006 - "Three Minutes" Michael flashback
May 24, 2006 - "Live Together, Die Alone" Desmond/Libby flashback

For the finale, I don't know if they are connected somehow or just because it's two hours so maybe it's basically two episodes and the first half is one and then the seconf half is the other.
