I was having this discussion with someone the other day

I called it though when I first heard of blu-ray...I remember telling my friend that someone's gonna lose their ass on that format because everything is going electronic/online and that DVD players will remain at least as relevant, if not continually dominant

Sure enough, blu-ray has tenuous purchase on the physical media market and most people are still buying DVDs. I was looking online the other day for a DVD collection and they were 2-3 times more expensive than the blu-ray versions

Trust me, I'm gonna get a cookie for myself next time I see one.
