You wouldn't call there? From my experience, if someone bets a quarter (or the minimum bet) it means one of three things. Either they have flopped a monster and are trying to milk it for all it's worth, they have hit a weak pair and want to see where people stand, OR they are taking a shot at stealing the pot. Sure, they could be on a flush draw, and if so, I'm obviously beat, but if the third diamond comes out and they fire a big bullet at it, it's not a tough fold.

My thoughts are they flopped a set, maybe 2 pair. The only feasible hands that he could have that beats mine and would make any sense would be 78 of diamonds, or maybe Qx or Kx of spades. I was willing to take my chances that he didn't have 78 of diamonds, so the ONLY thing that kept me from pushing was the fear that he was betting with 2 spades from the start. Maybe he did have Kx or Qx of spades, or maybe he was just betting with 2 spades from the start and he runner runnered an even better hand than myself.

what a horrible time to go card dead and not pick up any cards at all.

looks like ill be a final table bubbler.

13th for like 615, but it sucks to get this close to the finalt able of this tournament twice and not FT it.

the real money is on the final table.

goddamn its frustrating to go from 900k chips down to 400k without playing a hand due to such terrible cards. I didnt even have anything to try and steal the blinds with, which is absolutely crucial. Got busted stealing with T8 when the short stack woke up with AcKc and flopped a flush and im drawing dead.

that suck me to like 2bb and in dire straights.

interesting hand involving Boobs tonight.


1/2 nl, inlovling primarily boobs, me, and "the russian"

boobs in the co, "russian" on the button, and me in the sb.

limped around, i complete with 9s2s. flop is 9h 2h 5c. i check, others in the hand check, boobs bets out 10, russian calls, i raise to 33, boobs calls, russian folds.

turn is the Jd, and im assembling a bet, and Boobs says "im all in" and starts cutting out his stack.

Im like, well, fuck i ugess i check and how much is it.

"$137" pot has ~$65 i have close to 400 more so its not an issue, i have him way covered.

meh...its ok. There is a wide selection of tournys which is a plus. But I'm not a big fan of the blind structure. They need to add a few more levels like a 800/1600. It tends to turn into a shove fest after about the late 2nd hour. With that said, I think that I probably have the highest ROI on Dise for MTTs compared to the other sites I play.

O yeah...I also like that they are connected the sportsbook.com so I can make my bets there rather than bodog since I am on strike against them

haha, I was just messing around a little last night... I'd just lost about 1800 on the 30/60 O8b tables on stars (one of my worst runs ever on those), and I wanted to play something a little different. I was watching George (here from chapel hill) playing 5/10 NL on UB and just wanted to play something while watching.

On a side note - I've played 2 tourneys now at Ceasers Palace this week ($100+20 + 1 $100 rebuy) - never played their tourney before. I got 2nd on monday for $2k (38 players), and 1st last night for $4k (65 players). The fields there are so ridiculously easy. It's also fun pissing people off because I always outright refuse to chop, and people begin wanting to chop like 3 or 4 BEFORE we even make the money!

So if you're going to Vegas and you want to play a tourney with a good (but not great) format for a little less $ than the Bellagio or Wynn tourneys, and you want to face easier fields, definitely check out this tourney!
