last night i did my strength and stability exercises, ran 3 miles, 30min on the stairs then swam laps for an hourexhausted!!today calls for either a 2mile run or 30min on the stairs... 2 miles will take less time so im favoring that one but i can burn more calories on the stairs and read a book at the same timetomorrow is 3 miles and another hour of laps

had my first cheat meal since 4/20 last night, I'm impressed I didn't go too overboard last night but I stuck with mostly clean munchies food, something like 5x Natty PB+ SF Jelly WW Sandwiches(1800 cals), 8oz peppercorn pork tenderloin(300 cals), 3x ice cream servings(450 cals), 1/2 bag of corn chips + jar of picante(800 cals), SF White Chocolate Jello(200 cals), 4x honey n oat granola bars(800 cals), 8oz chicken breast w/ texas pete blasted omega-3 butter - 400 cals...only put on 1lb according to the scale...I'll take it!coulda been worse, workout felt great, living off ~2000 clean cals for 21 days isn't too bad, I don't plan on cheating again til memorial day weekendHas anyone tried Carb Cycling? I'm thinking of doing a 4 day cycle(1 high(<300), 1 medium(<200), 1 low(<100), 1 minimal(<30)) to accomodate my 4 day split(3 on 1 off) I'm just curious if one replaces carbs with fats as the carbs are depleted in the cycle or do you just leave the caloric void and go with a larger deficit as the cycle progresses. So say I'm doing 2400 cals high carb day(400 cal/meal)...drop to 100 carbs per day(400 cals) rolling with 1200 cals by Day 4? Deficit seems too large in my book...I'd add protein but wouldn't that just be converted to glucose...would I be better off adding mono/poly fat sources and hitting ~2000 cals minimum per day throughout the cycle?If I don't have this carb cycling planned out and understood by next friday, I'll likely go back to my CKD @ 2000 for 2 weeks before I begin my EC stack and the 20/40/40 @ 2250 for the month of May, I found the EC stack worked amazing back on me in Feb, really curbed my appetite and I dropped 2% BF in 1 month before I bulked for 6 weeks. It's almost been a month since I finished bulking and I've dropped ~10lbs, back below 200 again thank god. decent leg workout today. my back said "No Mas" during my stiff legged deadlifts, but otherwise it went pretty well.Looking forward to the MMA class tomorrow.

ran the Run for the Arts 5K at the museum of art todayturned into an 8k because this chick at the bridge forgot to tell the runners to turn around at the end of the bridge, i was in 3rd and ended up leading ~100 runners all the way into Meredith before deciding to turn around....finished in 39min which is ~8k for me

i've been running 3mi about every day since I got back. My times are horrible >30min but it's burning some calories, about 500 each time. Since tuesday i've ran 15mi and dropped 5lbs, im making a mad dash for 200. I got 15lbs to go!!also i've been doing some serious dieting. Bowl of cereal for breakfast this morning, and a banana for lunch. prob. gonna cheat for dinner

When are you running? If you're running in the afternoon after eating a bowl of cereal and a banana for your entire day's intake, part of the reason you're running slowly is because you have no energy. You should eat more than that if you're going to be running a lot, just eat healthy.

been doing it in the morningsyou are correct that it is because i have low energy, but also I'm lazy and don't like to run. My best time was like 3mi in 27:30 and that was a long time ago. Since I came back last week my best 3mi time was 34:54. I'm working to get it back under 30minutes. I would be nice to get down to 24min, but that's gonna take some work.but yeah if i eat a little somethin before I run I have a lot more stamina
