It's even strength.
6/19/2006 10:01:24 PM
Starting to get excited now, trying not to get my hopes up, but things are definitely looking good!
6/19/2006 10:01:48 PM
T-20 minutes.
6/19/2006 10:01:54 PM
THE SENDEK CURSE BLAH BLAH
6/19/2006 10:01:56 PM

6/19/2006 10:02:04 PM
meltdown ahead
6/19/2006 10:02:46 PM
That puck was DEFINITELY across the line. It is also DEFINITELY on the ice, because you see is deflect off of Spacek's elbow and then slides further into the goal.
6/19/2006 10:03:58 PM
but, whistle had prolly already blown, too
6/19/2006 10:04:15 PM
They said that when Cam's family moved to Edmonton, Cam's father appeased him by getting him into a school where he could play goaltender. Before, he was a defenseman.
6/19/2006 10:04:17 PM
^^ it wasnt
6/19/2006 10:05:20 PM
6/19/2006 10:05:44 PM
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FoxTraxAs always, fox killed a good idea (sensors in puck) with its gayness. Just like futurama and firefly.
6/19/2006 10:05:51 PM
i completely agree.....i dont get why we dont put little IR sensor in pucks and footballs and on goal lines.[Edited on June 19, 2006 at 10:06 PM. Reason : 423]
6/19/2006 10:06:44 PM
ok third periodIt aint over till its over
6/19/2006 10:08:17 PM
that blurr on the screen was annoying as hell though
6/19/2006 10:08:34 PM
fox had a good ideawish it had stayed around
6/19/2006 10:09:03 PM
our technology is so much better today, too. we can do a lot better stuff than the foxtrax faggotry
6/19/2006 10:09:33 PM
the blur was stupid, but the idea of tracking the puck is smart
6/19/2006 10:09:35 PM
what i dont know, is why in that dodge commercial, the guy doesnt say ha, silly little fairy anymore
6/19/2006 10:09:39 PM
6/19/2006 10:10:09 PM
where the fuck in brindamour
6/19/2006 10:10:39 PM
You guys aren't the first to think about that. It's been the holy grail of football broadcasting for a long time now.
6/19/2006 10:11:34 PM
well, the technology is there, the will isnt
6/19/2006 10:12:11 PM
it would be cool if the goal light could somehow be connected with a sensor that would make it light up when the goal crosses the line completely so that there would be nothing to dispute....but no matter what don't bring back anything that is supposed to make the puck more visible....if you know hjockey you have a pretty good ideaa where they puck is most of the time. But then again, hockey needs better ratings so make the bandwagonners happy
6/19/2006 10:12:14 PM
The will certainly is. Well, not the will of the NFL. That's the problem: anything you put in the ball is gonna have prima donna quarterbacks complaining about how the transmitter or whatever caused him to throw three more interceptions this year.
6/19/2006 10:13:22 PM
bring back silly fairy
6/19/2006 10:13:55 PM
that and I can already hear complaints about the sensor "malfunctioning" on key plays
6/19/2006 10:13:57 PM
6/19/2006 10:15:01 PM
^true
6/19/2006 10:15:18 PM
imagine a hard slapshot and BAM.....2 PUCKS
6/19/2006 10:15:40 PM
6/19/2006 10:16:12 PM
^^^^ In soccer, FIFA considered putting a microchip in the ball for the World Cup and then backed out.[Edited on June 19, 2006 at 10:16 PM. Reason : .]
6/19/2006 10:16:31 PM
here we go
6/19/2006 10:16:34 PM
6/19/2006 10:16:39 PM
^no, you just dont signal goal to ALL radial sensor cross the line
6/19/2006 10:17:18 PM
hahawe did it with devorak speed
6/19/2006 10:17:58 PM
damn
6/19/2006 10:18:12 PM
Oh now that was some bullshit.
6/19/2006 10:18:18 PM
gee um, intereference?
6/19/2006 10:18:19 PM
crappppp
6/19/2006 10:18:20 PM
Token Black Guy: "That's whack."
6/19/2006 10:18:32 PM
well you could just keep 1 sensor in the center of the puck and have the detector radius distance past the line
6/19/2006 10:18:33 PM
6/19/2006 10:18:58 PM
fuck
6/19/2006 10:19:09 PM
actually, you just put one sensor right in the middle of the puck, and don't trigger it until it passes half a puck-length across the line, idiot
6/19/2006 10:19:25 PM
So as long as you score you can maul the keeper? Ok, I'm gonna remember that.
6/19/2006 10:19:29 PM
6/19/2006 10:20:16 PM
6/19/2006 10:20:28 PM
