How good? Lots of buildings are demolished, no water, power or even roads in most places...Did you post under the wrong screen name again earl?
9/14/2017 1:48:55 PM
Dude. KW is legit good. I saw lots of tweets of videos and stuff. Happy for them, not the rest of the keys though.
9/15/2017 12:40:44 AM

Latest GFS has 3 storms hitting the US by the end of the month still so plenty to watch out there
9/15/2017 8:23:15 AM
There's nothing like long range GFS forecasts for comedy gold.
9/15/2017 12:11:13 PM
Behold, the 252 hour forecast:
9/15/2017 1:23:44 PM
9/17/2017 1:53:07 PM
Maria now a "major" hurricane.
9/18/2017 11:56:53 AM
. . . And now it's a REALLY major one. RIP Dominica.
9/18/2017 9:33:12 PM
9/19/2017 12:00:39 AM
Poor dominica two years in a row
9/19/2017 12:28:39 AM
So what's the long-range for NC with Maria?
9/19/2017 7:32:26 AM
Wait and see basically maybe this weekend we will know better
9/19/2017 8:57:41 AM
All depends on Jose, the immortal storm
9/19/2017 11:20:23 AM
There's a photo of a 30 ft wave from Jose hitting the pier in nag's head going around on Facebook. Can't believe some idiots think it's real.
9/19/2017 12:57:10 PM
people think the photos of trump walking through flood waters for harvey/irma are real
9/19/2017 1:09:59 PM
Not looking good for St. Croix and Puerto Rico.
9/19/2017 10:22:38 PM
What a bad night and morning for those islands gonna be a while before they rebuild after this
9/20/2017 9:47:29 AM
coworker's husband has family in puerto rico...said they were fine but expected to be without power for 2 months. jeez.
9/20/2017 2:32:47 PM
Crazy. I looked it up and Dominica is 290 sq mi in size. Wake county is 857. It's just hard to even process what storms like this passing over what amounts to a giant rock in the ocean would be like.
9/20/2017 6:46:25 PM
2 months without power in that heat and humidity will be a lot of fun. . .I also like how everyone just kept posting in the 2016 thread. Guess that barely made it to a 3rd page, so why not. . .
9/20/2017 10:10:22 PM
Current track has Maria missing the US entirely. Hopefully that is the case.
9/20/2017 11:11:51 PM
*continental US
9/21/2017 8:53:59 AM
bttta nasty tropical system may be near the US next week it looks like.GFS keeps bouncing it anywhere from Mexico to Florida and back to LouisianaThe 6z today really wallops new orleans. The trend has been towards mexico for most models but lately it has been eyeing florida.could be ugly.
6/13/2022 10:53:22 AM
You're looking at 300+ hour forecasts. You're firmly in dart board territory.
6/13/2022 12:41:25 PM
Some vicious waves coming off Africa
6/21/2022 9:53:18 AM
6/21/2022 5:57:46 PM
I feel like that would have been more funny in like 2004.Not that there’s anything wrong with that
6/24/2022 5:29:27 AM
must be a crazy bad storm to go back in time 6 years
6/27/2022 12:21:33 AM
Safety Not Guaranteed. I have only done this once before.
6/28/2022 8:32:16 AM

7/3/2022 1:22:38 PM
Dry...toooo dry.
7/8/2022 9:23:13 AM
I'd say we should make a new thread every year, but...
8/15/2022 12:56:05 PM
nah good to see the long-term data
8/15/2022 1:21:31 PM
O WE BACKGFS spotty at best this far out but it shows 3 named storms in the two weeks.Let us hope the atlantic are all fish
8/17/2022 11:14:28 AM
A LONG ways out but models hinting towards a NASTY one on the east coast around sept 6
8/20/2022 5:41:39 PM
Do I need to find a meme about > 200 hour forecasts?
8/22/2022 9:58:21 AM
Disturbance 1 at 10/30 probabilities in the Atlantic (as of 8am 8/27) is the most concerning in that it may eventually be a solid Puerto Rico impact (or somewhere in that region of the islands). Thereafter it could easily remain well offshore as it re-curves (closer to Bermuda than NC). We shall see once it gets an invest label and more models are run on it along with ensemble suites. Disturbance 2 at 0/20 in the Atlantic is facing more hostile conditions in the short term but would be more of a Yucatan/Gulf issue if it can survive and develop.
8/27/2022 10:13:47 AM
Whats fiona looking like?
9/16/2022 11:20:36 AM
A cyclone.
9/16/2022 11:25:43 AM

9/20/2022 7:23:30 AM
