Just a couple of points from a sad lonely Hawks fan after game 1:

- Hawks have got to shoot better to have a chance. Went 3-24 from three, holy shit.
- that 3rd quarter was one of the more ridiculously officiated quarters I've ever seen. The moving screens called on millsaps were not even close to being fouls. Especially frustrating after watching the Wizards use clotheslines and forearm shivers to free Paul pierce multiple times last series without any calls
- that being said, JR Smith being on fire (coupled with all the bricks the Hawks shot) is why the Hawks lost. Not the refs.

Carrol not having a major injury is huge. I know not many people got to see him play this season, but he's a poor mans Kawhi and a critical two way player for the Hawks. Bazemore is atrocious on offense, and mike Scott for some reason isn't great on defense. No real replacement for Carroll on the roster so hopefully he can be back by game 3. Should be a fun game two though CAW CAW CAW

If you don't see the 3rd quarter of game 1 as a complete ref job then you are either a cleveland homer or just don't understand the game.

It is possible for Cleveland to clearly be the better team even though they were gifted 1 of the 8 quarters by the refs.

ECF is over. Korver is out for the rest of the playoffs. Without his shooting the Hawks are super limited on offense. No way they come back from 2-0 down now. I fully expect a sweep at this point.

Dellavedova is kind of dirty and maybe Horford shouldn't have been ejected, but he definitely retaliated and should've been a Flagrant 1 at least.

Horford should have gotten a flagrant 1, not ejected. That he got ejected is a joke, one of the most ridiculous ejections I've ever seen. Not quite as bad as the tech we got against maryland in the ACC tourney in 2003 (i believe), but at that level of horse shit calls. I'm not saying the hawks had a shot in the series anyway with Korver done, but to eject Horford was a great way to interject themselves and ensure a Cavs win.

Dellevedova is clearly a dirty as fuck player. The Gibson shit, diving into Korver's legs, his flopping anytime he gets screened, he sucks. There was another play last night where Bazemore got a steal and Teague and Dellevedova were on the ground - as Teague got up and started running down court Dellevedova reached for his leg to pull him back then quickly let go, almost like he said "oh shit, I'm not gonna get away with this shit anymore this game, I'd better not grab his leg like the total dirtbag player I am".

Look, Horford has played in this league for years with a solid reputation, if he's calling you dirty, you're fucking dirty.
