Underwood can have a gigantic season if Brisket can get him the ball. He's never been able to show his true talent imo.

^^Really? I thought Glennon did a pretty damn good job helping him get a touchdown in 7+ consecutive plus games
3/24/2014 3:59:58 PM
^^^ I think he's shown a lot of his talent.2011: Virginia - breakout game as a freshman when starters got injured2012: Glennon hit him on some deep bombs2013: Clemson - the famous "out of bounds" callUnless he has some other hidden talent, I think I've seen everything he has to offer.
3/24/2014 4:01:12 PM
You can argue semantics all day, but imo TOB's offense didn't get the best out of him, and last year he didn't have anyone who could get the ball to him.He has an opportunity to be one of premier talents at that position in the ACC next season assuming JB pans out.

You fuckes will argue anything. I just clarified myself above. Underwood wasn't poised to be one of the best receivers in the ACC two years ago.
3/24/2014 9:02:08 PM
All time career leaders in TDs:1. Torry Holt, 1995-98 312. Jerricho Cotchery, 2000-03 213. Jarvis Williams, 2007-pres. 204. Eddie Goines, 1991-94 17 George Bryan, 2008-11 176. Owen Spencer, 2007-10 15 Koren Robinson, 1999-00 158. Nasrallah Worthen, 1984-88 14 Haywood Jeffires, 1983-86 1410. Bryan Peterson, 1999-02 1311. Bryan Underwood, 2011-pres. 12A good year and he could break the top 3 (he had 10 TDs in 2012).
3/24/2014 9:02:33 PM
Let's work on first downs before talking about touchdowns. Remember, this is a team who lost every conference game last year and is starting a brand new QB. Bar should be set pretty low. I would be happy if Underwood can get 30 receptions this year.

Assuming Byrd is healthy, that's huge for us. We'll probably play him at safety again, considering we basically have no one out there. Tocho and Burris should be a pretty good CB tandem.I also don't think we've seen the best of Underwood. Hopefully Brissett and him can do some big things this year.

kind of a big deal to have Russell there at the spring game just because there will be tons of recruits there who'd love to mingle with the guy who just lead his team to championship.

^^ That patch thing is cool as hell. I'm glad we're starting that tradition.Reminds me of the way that Michigan used to "honor" a player with #1 jersey.
3/25/2014 4:37:11 PM
So no one is wearing one next season, right? And do they wait to see if someone is good and then change their number or do they give the number to a good recruit and cross their fingers?</debbiedowner>I guess it's a recruiting tool. Come to NCSU, you can use Wilson's number and you'll get more attention on TV.[Edited on March 25, 2014 at 7:42 PM. Reason : -]

Indoor complex rendering looks pretty awesome. Sucks to lose some tailgating spots by the stadium, but an indoor practice complex should be a nice addition.[Edited on April 8, 2014 at 10:49 AM. Reason : facilities]

eh, sounds like it might be a good idea and worth the sacrifice.
4/8/2014 1:12:11 PM
Why couldn't they have put it somewhere else that wouldn't take up the tailgating spots?
4/8/2014 7:55:21 PM
Where exactly would you suggest?

4/8/2014 8:41:02 PM
capacity is not why he is booing, he is booing because tailgating in a field without lined spaces is more fun than in a parking space of set size
4/8/2014 8:52:39 PM
Thank you for the clarity. I am not sure if I agree with the booo, but I do know what it is for now.
4/8/2014 8:55:06 PM
I doubt that adding parking blocks to the faculty and trinity lots will detract too much from the tailgating experience, I hope. If they were paving them, then I might utter a short boo. I wonder if they're planning on putting gravel down like the southeast stadium lots? That'd kinda suck too.But having a brand-new indoor facility is a great thing for the team. Where else could it have gone?
4/8/2014 9:07:36 PM
the only people it will affect are the ones that like to roll out a big ol shindig that would take up 4-5 spots.

4/25/2014 6:25:49 PM
I could be wrong, but I don't think it says that they're going to pave the faculty (or trinity) lots, nor does it say that they'll necessarily assign parking spots there. It just says they'll put parking blocks in the those lots to designate parking spaces so the space is used more efficiently. The paved part that it speaks about is in the stadium lot. The faculty and trinity lots will be a little more crowded, but unless they've announced they're actually "assigning" parking spaces there, you'll still be able to arrive early and park under the trees. Correct me if I'm wrong, I could be.
