Before you think about making any more suggestions I think you need to shut the hell up

I keep seeing drafts say they will take McDermott and Warren with their first round picks.Top two prolific scorers in college? I'll take it.
5/21/2014 1:41:04 PM
^^ alas, i guess the asshole contingent of tww is alive and well
5/21/2014 1:54:18 PM
The last possible thing I want for the Hornets moving forward is some headcase to come in and start fucking up the chemistry of the team.Hairston is trouble and not worth the risk. Plain and simple.9. James Young24. Warren45. Patric Young
5/21/2014 2:01:17 PM
I would highly doubt the Hornets use all of their picks to select guys in the draft. There will be some trades or package deals or something.
5/21/2014 2:07:09 PM
Ok in all seriousness, I've never heard anything about him being a bad teammate. Stupid decisions? Sure, plenty of them, but I don't know if that overrides being a damn good player. I'm not gonna be upset if cho doesn't want to touch him, but he addresses a lot of needs immediately. Size for the position, dead eye shooter, rebounds well, plays defense....someone will take a chance on him and be rewarded
5/21/2014 2:20:49 PM
oh for christ sake, who let the baby blue butthole back in? get that tarhole nonsense out of here
5/21/2014 2:37:03 PM
Haven't seen a single mock where Warren is available at our 2nd pick in the first round, plus MJ and all, no way a State player ever ends up on the Hornets.Hairston is actually a piece we could use(outside shooting/scoring), but doubt we take the chance on him unless MJ has a good relationship with the kid.
5/21/2014 2:45:37 PM
5/21/2014 2:48:37 PM
There's absolutely nothing to it, and I'm sure Cho and whoever else takes a hard look at him if he's there at 24.
5/21/2014 2:49:37 PM
5/21/2014 2:55:15 PM
Saw a mock this morning that had Warren going to the Horncats at 24, think it was draftexpressPersonally, I wouldn't be surprised to see OKC grab him at 21 since they could use someone that can score off the bench
5/21/2014 3:50:37 PM
With the 9th pick, I think the Hornets need to go either SG or SF. I'd be happy with Gary Harris, Doug McDermott, James Young or even Nik Stauskas. Seems like this year's draft is a lot deeper than the past two years
5/21/2014 4:19:14 PM
the Doug McDermott route scares me the most.
5/21/2014 4:20:14 PM
Doug McDermott? More like Jimmer McMorrison
5/21/2014 4:29:58 PM
#24 getting picked at 24. it's destiny[Edited on May 21, 2014 at 5:20 PM. Reason : ]
5/21/2014 5:20:02 PM
James Young intrigues me the most I think
5/21/2014 5:25:42 PM
Yeah McDermott does have an Adam Morrison quality to him. Ah who knows. Just trade up and draft Wiggins.
5/21/2014 5:35:11 PM
5/21/2014 6:48:55 PM
Warren is good enough to be picked at 9. Wont happen, but he certainly going to be better than Noah Vonleh or Tyler Ennis.
5/21/2014 7:17:28 PM
No offense to Warren, but I'd take Vonleh over him as an NBA prospect and it isn't close for me
5/21/2014 7:34:04 PM
So, why can they not just have the old logo? Is it locked up in licensing for a while longer, or did they really think this silliness was a good idea?
5/21/2014 7:47:33 PM
Because it's no longer the 1990s?
5/21/2014 8:26:52 PM
nostalgia is a dangerous drughad they not left Charlotte originally, don't you think you'd be ready for an updated logo?
5/21/2014 8:30:21 PM
everyone should be happy they stayed with teal/purpleand the logo could be a lot lot worse
5/21/2014 8:37:34 PM
I, for one, welcome our new Hornet logo overlord
5/21/2014 8:39:19 PM
They have to have a new logo and new uniformsSo that they can bust out the retro uniforms sometimes
5/21/2014 8:39:56 PM
The old logo is cool in a nostalgic way, the new logo is pretty badass though and will sell tons of gear[Edited on May 21, 2014 at 9:48 PM. Reason : O]
5/21/2014 9:47:49 PM
bobcats jerseys are the throwbacks.
5/21/2014 10:29:01 PM
I'm all on the Nik Stauskas train at 9
5/22/2014 1:21:52 AM
warren will play in the d league.[Edited on May 22, 2014 at 2:45 AM. Reason : nc state is going to be the school with the most players in that league pretty soon. ]
5/22/2014 2:45:03 AM
Anyone of the group of Harris/Young/Stauskas will be just fine with me. They all have their individual strengths and weakness.
5/22/2014 6:55:41 AM
Yeah, I'd be fine with any of them. -Young is a good shooter with great size but is bad at defense and really streaky offensively. Also not as athletic as you might think.-Staukas is a dead-eye shooter, great ballhandler, and overall offensive force with suspect defense and athleticism.-Harris is a really good shooter with insane quickness who's great on defense but is pretty undersized at 6'4.They all have flaws, but they can all shoot, which is exactly what the Hornets need next to MKG.
5/22/2014 9:53:35 AM
Cho will give LaVine a hard look after his combine performance. There are definitely parallels between LaVine and Westbrook, and not just because they went to the same school. LaVine has the same kind of athleticism and similar questions, being that he's a late-bloomer. Many project him as a PG in the pros. But he didn't do a whole lot this past year and his shot is suspect. Cho loves combine stars (see Biz, MKG, Zeller), and LaVine was the most impressive athlete at the combine. He doesn't really fit into the "win now" mentality though.
5/22/2014 11:54:05 AM
Why are we talking about drafting a SG when the obvious move is to pay Lance in free agency?
5/22/2014 11:58:31 AM
that's not happening
5/22/2014 1:45:59 PM
Cody Zeller, aka "Gollum" named to all-rookie 2nd team.
5/22/2014 2:39:00 PM
Stephenson is talented no doubt, but he might be the dumbest SG in the league. His bball IQ and shot selection is really bad at times. The thing that separates Westbrook and Levine seems to be tenacity. Westbrook is like the damn Tazmanian Devil on the court while Levine looked pretty passive most of the time I saw him. I know he was just a freshman with some good upperclassmen, but still.
5/22/2014 4:01:25 PM
Sports radio for the next month is going to brutal listening to the same guys everyday call up and wash Hairston's balls. For the love god I hope he doesn't end up on the Hornets.
5/22/2014 8:12:23 PM
5/22/2014 8:33:07 PM
lol
5/22/2014 9:08:47 PM
Drafting another worthless UNC guy is a great way to get me to continue to not give two fucks about this team.
5/23/2014 8:41:50 AM
yea, count me out if that's the case.
5/23/2014 8:55:39 AM
o ma gurd you guyz r such assholesgeez/stingrayrush
5/23/2014 9:07:42 AM
It's unfortunate intelligent discourse can't happen because of where a guy went to school. I'd like to know why he's "worthless" besides rawr rawr unccheat sucks
5/23/2014 9:20:44 AM
hairston isn't worthless like the winning draft class of felton/mays.mainly because he isn't a fatass and he can shoot.
5/23/2014 9:25:00 AM
^^ The intelligent discourse needs to include that he's perpetually in trouble and surrounds himself with shady people in Greensboro.
5/23/2014 10:10:58 AM
I mean, you did lead with "At the risk of sounding like a homer,"This is the risk.
5/23/2014 10:15:00 AM
^^ That's a fair point, although since he's been in Texas I haven't heard of any shenanigans. It's always a risk I suppose, but I'm not sure driving free rental cars and being in a car with guns is enough to automatically cast him aside. Like I said, if those things scare off cho, then fine, but I would hope they at least do due diligence with him.[Edited on May 23, 2014 at 10:18 AM. Reason : J]
5/23/2014 10:17:33 AM
I don't think Cho excluding anyone on school, but when he's competition all have stayed out of trouble (and in school) it makes him look worse by comparison.I think it's fair to say he's the 4th best shooting guard, excluding internationals. Young is clearly better than him, and I don't think anyone would take him over Harris or Stauskas. He's a high 2nd round talent.
