So what you're saying is that there was no character development in season 1 or 2? Because that's pretty fucking stupid.
3/28/2011 4:42:18 PM
^^Which season do you think was the best then?I made a graph of the episodes while I was bored at work once. Let me find it.peaks: the client, dundiesvalleys: the banker (clip show!!?!!! on my office?!?!), pretty much all of last season[Edited on March 28, 2011 at 5:37 PM. Reason : .]

wow

I do like The Office. I was at the point of not watching it anymore but Season 7 has redeemed the show for me. I wanted to make the case that The Office used to be amazing and now a great episode is still not nearly as good as any episode from season 2.[Edited on March 28, 2011 at 5:48 PM. Reason : .]
3/28/2011 5:45:17 PM
that is pretty intense. looks spot on as well.

How could anyone say Season 1 is the best? It was 6 episodes, one of which was hardly at all different than the English pilot.Season 2 was definitely the best. Not even really close. 3 was a bit contrived but still really, really good.
3/28/2011 9:33:20 PM
I think season one was good, but it was so short I can't really compare it to the rest of the series. Michael Scott definitely had some great oneliners in those six episodes.
3/28/2011 9:54:55 PM
^ Diversity Day is one of the best episodes of all time. Basketball was pretty funny too. Season 1 definitely had its moments.
3/29/2011 8:35:53 AM
Season 2 > Season 1 > Season 3 >> all the other seasons for me. I watched regularly until season 5. We still DVR it just because but we only end up watching some of the episodes.
3/29/2011 8:40:05 AM
haha yeah basketball was hilarious!!! There are so many good episodes that I forget about until I start reading through them again.
3/29/2011 4:11:21 PM
I don't understand why they are airing a rerun Thursday, we just got a new episode after a serious of reruns.
3/30/2011 4:28:44 PM
jesus that was terrible.
4/14/2011 9:49:13 PM
I disagree, it was awesome.
4/14/2011 9:57:41 PM
I do not like will ferrell on this show at all
4/14/2011 9:58:07 PM
I enjoyed the episode.
4/14/2011 10:12:52 PM
i thought this episode was a bit painful to watch.

drink the soap!
4/15/2011 5:38:15 AM
I did not like this episode. I only laughed a couple times, and that was mainly at Andy acting stupid for DeAngelo.I was disappointed. I watched some reruns of season 2&3 last week and it reminded me of how funny it CAN be.
4/15/2011 5:48:29 AM
Terrible. Just watched it. Terrible.I really hope Will Ferrell is only 4 episodes. I want to see Darryl as boss.
4/15/2011 7:41:48 AM
i can't believe the office has been renewed for an 8th season
4/15/2011 7:52:07 AM
Worst episode of the season.
4/15/2011 9:20:54 AM
What exactly didn't all of you like?Because I'm completely at a loss.
4/15/2011 9:23:34 AM
I thought the bit with Erin was hilarious
4/15/2011 9:30:07 AM
4/15/2011 9:36:32 AM
I didn't think it was bad as everybody here is saying but it definitely wasn't good.It seemed worse after watching a great Parks and Rec episode too.
4/15/2011 9:40:14 AM
I thought it was pretty good. Could have been better but it also could have been a lot worse. We just have to accept that DeAngelo will not be Michael Scott and that's that. On a side note, there was some show on with Paul Reiser right before the office and it was ATROCIOUS.[Edited on April 15, 2011 at 9:44 AM. Reason : ]

^Other than a few exceptions, I also agree. Some of Will Ferrell's comedy is painful to watch. That being said, I did enjoy the episode last night. I didn't think it was amazing by any stretch, but I enjoyed it.

Did he say the baby was ugly? I thought he just said he didn't care about it.Anyway, not a funny episode, but not a bad one. A decent bridge to what's next I guess, but I agree that I didn't like Darryl being a kiss up. I wish there was only one transition episode and not three.BTW, props to the show for how little Gabe has been seen recently. Good move, hopefully he'll be gone for good soon.
4/18/2011 8:58:08 PM
Shut it down. Cancel it. It's over
4/18/2011 11:38:14 PM
I enjoyed this episode.

This is excellent so far.
4/21/2011 9:23:14 PM
This episode totally redeemed last week's episode. It was great. Next week's looks emotional.
4/21/2011 9:50:33 PM
his impressions of people in the office was hilarious
4/21/2011 10:13:50 PM
much better than last week.i can actually see will ferrel's character fitting into the show just the slightest bit now[Edited on April 21, 2011 at 10:58 PM. Reason : ]

Someone told me they brought back the Dundies tonight? That is my favorite episode of The Office, maybe even my favorite sitcom episode of all time. Will this ruin it for me?[Edited on April 21, 2011 at 11:20 PM. Reason : x]

Maybe my favorite episode of the season...I really liked it. Still not really a fan of the Will Ferrell character though. Michael's impressions (especially Jim's) were hilarious. The whole scene at Meredith's house was funny. And Dwight asking everyone to "remain standing" for DeAngelo when no one stood up to being with. Looking forward to next week's episode.
