HEY GUYS LET'S MAKE FUN OF HORNER AFTER HE GRADUATES TOO. HE DESERVES IT AMIRITE?
8/24/2010 7:33:13 AM
I didn't say make fun of him. We can share the journey of his collegiate career. From late-Herb to Sid. From flaming tattoo (he's wearing 13 now btw) to Caprisun. If anything, it's a unique opportunity to flood a barely-used belgian messageboard with state progaganda. When is the last time we've done that?
8/24/2010 7:47:24 AM
BROTHERHOOD OF THE FLAMING BASKETBALL, UNITE!
8/24/2010 12:15:33 PM
We have a major problem. I saw Ryan Harrow and Lorenzo Brown at Talley today, they were ordering at Taco Bell. The future of our basketball program is in jeopardy due to Grade D beef.
8/24/2010 6:07:10 PM
And you wanted to be my Sports Talk mod
8/24/2010 6:07:45 PM
I'm actually the demi-mod of sports talk. While I don't have all (or any) the abilities of a mod, I can still feel self-righteous.btw, I'm registered and made my first post over there. Nous sommes le rouge et le blanc de l'État et nous sommes les meilleurs
8/24/2010 6:20:48 PM

damn you see javi throwing up 185? didnt think he was that strong
8/29/2010 2:36:32 AM
hahaharrow throwing up that much would be a surprise[Edited on August 29, 2010 at 7:46 AM. Reason : n]
8/29/2010 7:45:26 AM
^^ 185 isn't really that much for an athlete his size. Don't forget he might look tiny out there on the court, but he's still taller than most of the people posting on here
8/29/2010 10:06:01 AM
i would be far more surprised(and embarassed) if he couldn't throw up 185 like that.
8/29/2010 1:48:35 PM
I LOLed when Durant couldn't bench 185 even once at the combine.I guess that proves how important upper body strength is to a wing player LOL.
8/29/2010 2:20:29 PM
8/29/2010 3:24:02 PM
lol, yeah. i was like.... no......
8/29/2010 3:27:40 PM
^^^Kevin Durant was thin with really long arms. It wasn't that surprising.
8/29/2010 4:01:51 PM
Where the fuck is the 10-11 scheduleLooking at old threads, it should have been released last week
8/31/2010 1:46:16 PM
They said this year it would be early September before we get a schedule

Article on Wake's new coach.http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/columns/story?columnist=oneil_dana&id=5512936
8/31/2010 1:51:30 PM
Dennis is already clubbin' in Cologne
8/31/2010 8:33:47 PM
say what you want about Calipari, but I just heard him on The Dan Patrick Show and I would have no problem whatsoever with my son playing for him. He's one charismatic son of a bitch.
9/1/2010 10:37:41 AM
Is there any particular reason why there is nearly a full page dedicated to a guy who sucked in college and isn't even playing college ball this year?[Edited on September 1, 2010 at 10:40 AM. Reason : x]
9/1/2010 10:39:45 AM
There wasn't really a place to put it and I didn't want to make a thread that would end up with very few posts. Basketball practice doesn't start for another month so it's just something to fill the void.
9/1/2010 12:50:03 PM
http://espn.go.com/ncb/notebook/_/page/notebooksummershootaround100901/accACC summer shootaround. We're mentioned in the last second of the video lol.[Edited on September 1, 2010 at 3:11 PM. Reason : V it was just humorous how they threw us in their before they ran out of time]
9/1/2010 2:57:13 PM
We're also mentioned in about a dozen places on the pageQuit yr bitchin
9/1/2010 2:59:17 PM
^^^^ Because he's Dennis Horner.
9/1/2010 3:06:13 PM
Besides, D-Horn deserves more praise than Ferguson, Fells, Bennerman, etc. as far as contribution towards the team.
9/1/2010 3:37:56 PM
9/1/2010 3:42:58 PM
Here we go with the Bilas bullshit:
9/1/2010 4:06:51 PM
10th out of 12 in AdjD...
9/1/2010 4:27:43 PM
^Exactly. Similar to how Herb was considered a great defensive coach just because he took the air out of the ball on offense.
9/1/2010 4:35:00 PM
Yep, UVA was by far the slowest team in the conference[Edited on September 1, 2010 at 4:46 PM. Reason : Interesting that Bilas says Harrow will be an immediate impact player, not Brown]
9/1/2010 4:44:03 PM
What is AdjD?
9/1/2010 4:50:47 PM
Adjusted Defense
9/1/2010 4:54:30 PM
Adjusted Defensive Efficiency[Edited on September 1, 2010 at 4:55 PM. Reason : Points per 100 possesions]
9/1/2010 4:55:32 PM
Yeah that's it. Thanks for the correction. I forgot.
9/1/2010 4:58:36 PM
and the Pomeroy fellating begins...
9/1/2010 5:06:28 PM
that was a pretty favorable article.nc state media bias at work.
9/1/2010 5:13:52 PM
First pics of D-Horn in uniform. They kept mentioning 'Pretty in Pink' but I didn't think it was this.
9/3/2010 11:19:41 PM
Familiar image?Also, Horner had just 2 points in a 91-62 loss.[Edited on September 8, 2010 at 8:42 AM. Reason : ...]

9/8/2010 2:14:54 PM
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=5550965Dayton will host the four play-in games for the newly expanded tournament this year. The opening round games will be known as the "First Four" and will be played on March 15 and 16. The NCAA field will be announced on March 13 giving the teams that are the last eight in only 2-3 days to prepare and travel to Dayton. I imagine the NCAA will already have the hotels booked for these teams. Dayton was chosen as a way to reward the area for having sizable crowds for the play-in game since it came into existence in 2001. There is no plan though to keep it in Dayton. All of the "First Four" games will be televised on truTV. What will be interesting is if Dayton, winner of last year's NIT, is on the bubble and is one of the last eight in. They will have a decided home court advantage if that were to happen.
