My biggest gripe about LA Noire was how they took the sandbox out of what would have been an awesome sandbox. The city is really nicely laid out and detailed but you can't really do anything on your own like in GTA. You can't use guns outside of missions. It's really hard to hit people with cars because they have spidey-sense that lets them dodge a vehicle going full speed. That sounds really macabre, but it's those little things you can't do that made me return this game. Once you've played through the storyline, that's it.I've only picked up Borderlands so far this sale. I had it for PS3 but I lent it to an out-of-state friend so I might not being seeing it for a while. Plus this had all the expansions and was only like $8.]

^ Not that I know of.I'm pissed I missed checking out on Sunday for all of the Batman Arkham City DLCs...
7/16/2012 10:31:04 AM
chances are it will come around again. either as a voted deal (we've seen flash/voted deals repeated already) or as a daily deal
7/16/2012 11:20:18 AM
Yea sometimes they will do a wrap-up sale at the end of the event and basically toss all the deals back up one last time. They don't always do that shit though, but sometimes you get lucky.

7/17/2012 7:32:39 AM
They do have a 10% off on Orcs Must Die 2. But its not a time limited sale, just pre-order it appears.I just purchased Crysis 2 Maximum Edition for $11.99.
7/17/2012 1:13:02 PM
I picked up the DLCs for Fallout: New Vegas that I didn't have yesterday. Also decided to buy the Monkey Island remakes on a whim. Total for all around $8.

7/19/2012 1:26:43 PM
I m just hoping Skyrim goes down to $10
7/19/2012 1:32:20 PM
it wont. its already been on sale a couple times so far at ~ $30. if you're into that kinda game its way worth it even at full retail cause its many many many hours of gameplay.
7/19/2012 1:34:50 PM
I am trying to decide if the Stalker trilogy is worth $10 or if Gratuitous Tank/Space Battles is worth $10 as well.

Not Steam, but gamersgate has an amazing bundle for sale at the moment.http://www.gamersgate.com/DDB-BETHESDANYC/bethesda-new-year-collection-bundle$28.76....seems like this has to be an error but its been up a few hours and is an unbelievable deal.Bethesda Collection which includes:DishonoredSkyrimFallout 3 GOTYFallout: New Vegas Ultimate EditionTES Morrowind GOTYTES Oblivion GOTYBrink Complete PackRageDoom 3 BFGHunted: The Demons ForgeRogue WariorGamersgate is getting absolutly destroyed right now and it took me about an hour of refreshing to get the pack in my cart and paid for through paypal. Good Luck.also, these all activate through steam with individual codes [Edited on December 22, 2012 at 12:56 AM. Reason : .]
12/22/2012 12:56:05 AM
Thats crazy if that is not an error.
12/22/2012 1:04:26 AM
Yea, I saw it on reddit.com/r/gamedeals and someone there said that it looked like the retail value on gamersgate for all the games together had been discounted 75%....and then an additional 75%.....which resulted in this absurdity
12/22/2012 1:13:21 AM
Damn sucks I missed that. I have almost all of that already but I would still get it for dishonored.
12/26/2012 9:47:04 AM
Picked up Chivalry: Medieval Warfare for half price a few days ago and it is just thoroughly enjoyable mayhem. Feels like I'm some hedge knight from Game of Thrones running around hacking off heads and arms in a melee. Archery takes trolling to another level too.
12/26/2012 10:20:52 AM
I kinda want to pick up Natural Selection II for $7.50.
12/27/2012 3:50:11 PM
Actually just got Civ 5 and Gods and Kings expansion for about $40. Haven't gotten a chance to play it yet, but it should kill some time when I'm visiting family in a couple of weeks.
12/27/2012 4:06:00 PM
That's not a sale... I got Civ 5 a year ago for $5 and G&K $7.50 not 3 weeks ago.
12/27/2012 4:42:18 PM
Meh, it's less than in store retail and less than it normally is on steam.
12/27/2012 4:58:52 PM
Civ 5 series goes on sale all the time during these major steam sales... It was on sale during thanksgiving, fall sale, summer and spring sale all of this year, so probability it will be on sale this sales holiday week as well. Plus one should also look at amazon since they run concurrent sales and many of their keys will activate on steam, hasslefree. Not to mention greenman gaming does the same.I'll bet you it would go on sale tomorrow and you'll go ... lol, either way, its a great game and G&K is highly recommended.
12/27/2012 11:31:37 PM
It is going on sale for $7.50 in an hour or so.
12/28/2012 9:16:46 AM
Oh well.
12/28/2012 9:30:30 AM
I was hoping Civ IV would be put on sale
