Maybe Otah can be the Eli Manning to San Diego's Rivers, Merriman and Kaeding and get us to the promised land in a few years
4/26/2008 5:27:20 PM

Gave up too much.
4/26/2008 5:28:22 PM
To John Fox and Marty Hurney's credits, the Panthers haven't had a bust in the 1st round since they took over. The 2nd round though, a different story.
4/26/2008 5:29:22 PM
if atlanta takes mendenhall away from jerry jones, this draft is already a success for the skins[Edited on April 26, 2008 at 5:30 PM. Reason : FAIL]
4/26/2008 5:30:15 PM
Another trade. ATL at #21. how many is this now, trade wise?wow who? maybe good promise to protect Ryan. But you can't start both can you? unless you just want to punish Ryan.[Edited on April 26, 2008 at 5:32 PM. Reason : seriously, what?]
4/26/2008 5:30:36 PM
alright Cowboys... dont fuck this up...I like what Atlanta's doneCowboys could trade down a bit, since they would be fine with Mendenhall or Jones[Edited on April 26, 2008 at 5:32 PM. Reason : d]
4/26/2008 5:30:54 PM
richard marshall is our best 2nd rounder in a while, unless you count deshaun foster which was 6 yrs ago
4/26/2008 5:32:16 PM
NO-NEBAL-JAXKC, Carolina, and Atlanta have traded since then. 5?

4/26/2008 5:39:13 PM
Justin Hartwig is the Steelers' biggest addition??
4/26/2008 5:39:51 PM
the cowboys needed another rb like the lions need another WR
4/26/2008 5:39:56 PM
^ ? is that sarcasm? why would Dallas not need a RB?
4/26/2008 5:40:29 PM
i wonder if mendenhall falls to seattlewho do they have at RB now that Shaun is gone? I don't follow the seahawks too closelyapparently mendenhall was on the phone during the steelers' clockage[Edited on April 26, 2008 at 5:43 PM. Reason : ]

Carolina has two high 3rd Round picks so losing the second round pick doesn't hurt that much. I think they gave up that much because there were probably other teams offering just as much for that same pick (maybe Atlanta since they took Baker right after) and maybe to block the division rival Bucs from selecting him with the pick right after.
4/26/2008 5:43:21 PM
Morris, and Julius Jones
4/26/2008 5:43:32 PM
Who or what did the Skins get for trading their pick?
4/26/2008 5:43:55 PM
they got hoescontained within one area code though
4/26/2008 5:44:55 PM
Pittsburgh taking Mendenhall is a nice pick[Edited on April 26, 2008 at 5:45 PM. Reason : .]
4/26/2008 5:45:04 PM
9 trades? didnt think it had been that many
4/26/2008 5:46:05 PM
Of course the Panthers gave up too much, b/c they fucked up with their first pick. They needed to try to moved back a few slots to get more ammo to make a move like they did for Otah. And they did have to get a T.If they couldn't move down, they should have taken LT Williams. They wouldn't have to give up as much to just move to the 20's where there would still be a RB or DE.
4/26/2008 5:49:24 PM
Why isn't there much talk about James Hardy? I think he'll be a better pro WR than DeSean Jackson
4/26/2008 5:50:12 PM
um, wow Titans... ummmm
4/26/2008 5:51:06 PM
wow i didnt think the ECU guy would go in Rd. 1i mean he can run like lightning but he would have been there much later[Edited on April 26, 2008 at 5:52 PM. Reason : ]
4/26/2008 5:51:33 PM
is Tenn going to run the wishbone?
4/26/2008 5:52:16 PM
well, the only thing I can say is with no WR's chosen yet, there will hopefully still be value there in Rd. 2.
4/26/2008 5:52:21 PM
I guess the Titans are just intent on not giving Vince Young anyone to throw to.
4/26/2008 5:53:10 PM
The Seahawks are probably gonna draft a WR
4/26/2008 5:53:12 PM
bah didnt look as good[Edited on April 26, 2008 at 5:54 PM. Reason : ]

^^^^thats what the Eagles had hoped for when trading their pick to Carolina[Edited on April 26, 2008 at 5:54 PM. Reason : ^^^^]
4/26/2008 5:54:20 PM
TITANS WHAT ARE YOU DOING!Someone please explain that pick to me... This team just pisses me off.
4/26/2008 5:55:02 PM
They panicked. They saw no RB worth a damn left except Johnson and couldn't trade down. They probably know that Lendale White is not the answer at all at that position too. He's not a homerun guy like Johnson is. So they hit the panic button and took a guy that would still be there 2 hours from now.
4/26/2008 5:58:13 PM
hmmmm, Cowboys planning around Pacman
4/26/2008 6:00:41 PM
shoulda just taken the best overall player available and traded
4/26/2008 6:00:47 PM
this is a fuckton of trades!
4/26/2008 6:02:03 PM
As a Bills fan I couldn't be happier about all the wideouts dropping down this far. Looks like we'll be able to sit still and pick up one of the big 4 wrs.
