Spoilers in white (highlight text ONLY IF YOU WANT TO SEE SPOILERS)did anybody get confused for a second when Mike was dropping Dukie off at wherever the junk man hangs out and he's like "i know what goes on in there" or whatever, right as somebody is walking a horse into the place while theres a picture on the wall that suggests some kind of man on dog love? maybe notthe clay davis scene at the bar was good and informative...there were some powerful scenes also...all michael's late scenes...bubbles talking about sharrod...marlo getting all heated in the jail cell...wonder what will happen next week...i still cant completely tell about Daniels, Pearlman, etc and how they ultimately feel about this going down this way under the guise of the serial killer...we'll seeend of spoiler]

if anyone wants to watch episode 9 (the one that premieres on HBO this Sunday but thats onDemand right now)its available streaming here http://www.surfthechannel.com/info/television/The_Wire/59851/S5E9.html
2/27/2008 12:31:39 AM
I thought they were implying bestiality, as well.Episode 9 was fucking dense. Felt kind of rushed in that I didn't get time to digest what happened. I hope they don't blow the case!

sp.Kima disappoints me. It seemed like a majority of her problem with mcnulty's creation was that she wasted her time doing useless work, disregarding the fact that all the run around actually led to them catching marlo. sp. end[Edited on February 27, 2008 at 5:12 AM. Hey, I'm a writer for the News & Observer and we're doing a story about local Wire watchers. Would any of you be interested in talking to us for the story? Send an e-mail to animocks@newsobserver.com today. Thanks.

2/27/2008 2:54:11 PM
or a homeless woman who didn't want to give her name b/c, you know, she was homeless.and it was chocolate milk, we were having chocolate milk
2/27/2008 3:42:14 PM
the two higher ups at the Sun...not his editor but the two guys who like Scott because of his vivid explanations (exaggerations)...man those guys are douchebags
2/27/2008 4:15:38 PM
props to the casting director though, those two faggots are dead on
2/27/2008 10:13:42 PM
im pissed kima rats out mcnulty when he was the one bringing her back to life when she got shot!!
2/27/2008 10:15:36 PM

there is a little blurb on AV Club from an interview with Amy Ryan, the actress in Gone Baby Gone who plays Beadie on The Wire, talking about getting cast for the wire.not much but a couple paragraphs pertaining to The Wirehttp://www.avclub.com/content/interview/amy_ryan

then you contracted your modding no one else would have knowledge/cause to careim just sayinyoure shitting on a best effort here and stifiling discussiongj
2/28/2008 11:58:05 AM
lollook, you called me out and i defend myselffor you to say no one elses cares is just absurd. there have been more users than just little ole me complaining about the spoilers in this thread. i do, HOWEVA [/stephen a. smith], understand that im the most vocal about it making me a prime candidate for the removal of said spoilers.
2/28/2008 12:30:11 PM
no i said no other mods would care enough to delete the postsevery blog writing about the wire is already on ep 59sounds like you need to come up out them pockets for on demand in the future son!
2/28/2008 1:04:19 PM
i have "on demand"i just like to watch the show when it airs. its been my sunday night choice ever since the first season
2/28/2008 1:49:58 PM
deleting posts just because you prefer not to discuss what is currently being discussed by a number of users who DO watch the next weeks episode that is also is generally accessible by the HBO/cable watching public and after due dilligence has been applied to protect those from seeing what they dont want to see with the use of spoiler tags and things like that is a little bit out of line with "moderation" in my opinion.then again, you werent the mod that set the wheels in motion, so who cares!hey gunnzsnoop dies next week
2/28/2008 2:30:31 PM
god you can be a dick sometimes. not taking sides, but i wish you would have created a Season 5 spoilers thread. Probably would have been a lot easier and stress free instead of getting up in arms about gunzz and who deleted what. oh yeah, i forgot. internet, serious business
2/28/2008 2:53:27 PM
Just got done with episode 10.I can't believe McNulty killed himself.I did NOT see that coming!
2/28/2008 4:24:52 PM
2/29/2008 8:57:50 AM
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo
2/29/2008 9:02:22 AM
its gonna suck having to wait an extra week to see the finale since it wont be onDemand
2/29/2008 10:57:33 AM
J-Hova was smart enough not to continue reading the thread once we started appropriately tagging our posts with ***SPOILER ALERT***, as has been general practice in all entertainment section threads since ive been a member of this message board (circa 2002)
2/29/2008 11:04:39 AM
additionally, gunzz what have you really brought to the table in this thread?most of the other users, in addition to discussing on demand eps, post related content, blogs, stories, news articles...i dont really see anything you've contributed that was value added other than the fact that you were one of the first people to post a ***spoiler*** comment on episode 1...so really, gunzz, i dont see where your authority on the matter is being derived fromjust because you got all asshurt after you accidentally read something you didnt want to you set the trend bud
2/29/2008 11:12:26 AM
^haha i just looked back in the thread..true dat
2/29/2008 11:26:49 AM
now watch, he'll suspend me over an argument in a section he self-admittedly
2/29/2008 12:44:50 PM
it just would have been nice for you to discuss the episode pertaining to that current broadcast week, instead of advanced episodes. If there was a seperate thread I wouldn't have to hesitate back tracking this thread to find those "insightful" observations for said episode
2/29/2008 1:09:58 PM
2/29/2008 1:20:26 PM

2/29/2008 1:44:16 PM
Knowing next sunday is the last episode ever of this show makes me appreciate just how a great show like this doesn't come along very often. I can't wait to see what happens with Marlo.
3/2/2008 10:53:19 PM
last night's episode was awesome. felt bad for Dookie.
3/3/2008 7:55:12 AM
^ agreed. What was the deal with Daniels and the ADA calling that cell phone they went and got from evidence lockup? That was Marlo's right? I'm guessing they're fucked now in trying to present any of this evidence.
3/3/2008 10:11:56 AM
kima told daniels about mcnulty and lester's set upthat was them confirming the illegal "wiretap" and that yes, their case is fucked.[Edited on March 3, 2008 at 11:10 AM. Reason : .]
3/3/2008 11:08:39 AM
unless Daniels is willing to play alonghe needs the crime stats to go down for the mayor after all, who knows
3/3/2008 11:51:21 AM
rightand if you fully consider his past, maybe he'll do it
3/3/2008 11:57:55 AM
also, can anyone confirm that they do not infact have 60 on demand and that we'll have to watch it live on sunday?i am at work and havent looked
3/3/2008 11:58:45 AM
i never got the ondemand episodes until mon/tues late night but i've heard that this one wont be ondemand and everyone will have to watch it when it airs on sunday (in 13 days)
3/3/2008 12:02:42 PM
yeah that corroborates everything i heard as well
3/3/2008 12:07:19 PM
i did hear the finale was supposed to be an hour and a half instead of the regular hour...hopefully thats true as well
3/3/2008 12:24:43 PM
Michael will end up snitching on everyone
