8/15/2007 10:38:52 PM

8/15/2007 10:42:06 PM
I believe MLSnet and the Superliga websites are both streaming it for free, but I'm watching it on TelefuturaI'm sure ESPN will show it 13923458 times tomorrow though, so no worries[Edited on August 15, 2007 at 10:50 PM. Reason : .]
8/15/2007 10:50:14 PM

8/15/2007 10:55:28 PM

8/15/2007 10:55:43 PM
ok nvm, its streaming again, who in the hell is pachuca? ive heard of the other mexican clubs, but not this one
8/15/2007 10:58:00 PM
They're pretty good... they won the league this past spring, the CONCACAF Champions Cup, and they won the Sudamericana in 2006. They play really aggressive and attacking soccer too which usually makes for an exciting game. It's too bad their jerseys look like they belong in NASCAR, they have like 15 sponsors.I don't claim to know much about the Mexican league, but from what I've read during the Superliga is most of their success is only recently and their fanbase is mostly local, instead of the huge America/Chivas/Cruz Azul type fanbases.
8/15/2007 11:02:31 PM
they need more variety in their commercials
8/15/2007 11:08:29 PM
wow beckham with the assist to donovanthats what i expect beckham and donovan to do all year next year when beckham can get some rest in the mls offseason[Edited on August 15, 2007 at 11:14 PM. Reason : l]

I love how soccer is so "huge" in America now, and on here, and in the world, yet only about 5 people on TWW defend it.FAILbtw, I am just here to remind the few of you how soccer is failing again, how Beckham has failed, and how soccer will not catch on in America. But I guess it will take another 5 years of failing to realize this. Remember when Freddy was gonna save American soccer within 5 years? Did he? NOPE!! And where is he now? Thats right....Europe. Where are all the best soccer players?? Thats right...EUROPE. Does America care about Soccer? NOPE. Do we care about celebs? SURE. What is Beckham now? A socccer player, or a celeb. He is a celeb. So far, how has soccer progressed? Its gone backwards. Why? Because Beckham brought a lot of America to soccer and made the majority of us realize just why we hate the real football[Edited on August 15, 2007 at 11:23 PM. Reason : ,]

8/15/2007 11:24:14 PM

8/15/2007 11:24:21 PM

8/15/2007 11:31:13 PM
Who cares? Why are you spending so much time trolling this thread then? Some people follow it and most don't. Great. That isn't news to anyone.
8/15/2007 11:31:35 PM
even though they're losing, DC is class -- Gomez, Fred, Emilio are all terrific on the ball
8/15/2007 11:32:29 PM

8/16/2007 12:05:13 AM
it's cool, i don't many fat guidos that do like soccer
8/16/2007 12:19:27 AM
^^Not me kid, AMERICA. America doesn't like soccer. Don't get us confused.
8/16/2007 12:34:00 AM
yea, aren't you dominican or something
8/16/2007 12:37:03 AM
^^ Soccer is going to be here til the end of time whether you like it or not. It's become a niche sport, like hockey and maybe the NBA if it continues being run into the ground. In their inaugural year, the Carolina Railhawks in Cary, essentially a Triple-A soccer team, have drawn an average attendance of 5000 in a stadium of 7000, which is pretty comparable to the other Triple-A team in the area, the Durham Bulls, and their attendance for the national pasttime. And at the games there are a lot of high school-age and college-age people and twentysomethings in attendance and not so much in the way of just Mexicans as the stereotype for the sport goes, showing there are people that will grow up and maybe continue watching in the future. It's not leaving. You might as well get used to it.^ Ah, Dominicans hate soccer. Here's a description of the country:

how about we just ignore this trollhe's just trying to fuck up our soccer threads

^^ Watching Donovan take free kicks is like pounding your head against the wall.
8/16/2007 9:23:01 AM
8/16/2007 9:30:55 AM
8/16/2007 11:16:28 AM
^ that may be, but he's still getting nice looks from beckham.
8/16/2007 11:26:38 AM
^^ I wouldn't mind him going back to San Jose next year. The Quakes fans loved him for the two titles he led them to in 2001 and 2003.
8/16/2007 8:20:47 PM
that team needs to be not named the earthquakes.
8/16/2007 10:59:37 PM

Tonight of Fox Soccer Channel NY plays LA at 7:30pm. Juan Pablo Angel plays for NY and is one of 4 DP's in the league along with Beckham, Blaco, and Reyna. Angel is a scoring machine too. This should be a good game. It is a free preview weekend for FSC, so if you have Dishnet, or Directtv, you should be able to see the game.

Its hilarious to me that everyone who posts my picture isn't man enough to put some of their own in their gallery.
