yeah start with season 1. watching a whole season at a stretch on dvd beats the hell out of watching a new episode every week.

i really liked 2, 3, and 4
2/25/2009 11:46:17 PM
They weren't really bad, they just really weren't as great as the first one. None of them particularly stood out as anything special except for the first one and now this season is turning out to be as good or almost as good. For me it's 1>7>>2-5>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>6
2/25/2009 11:52:29 PM
for me its 2/3/4 > 1/5/7 >>>> 6when i first watched season 1 i thought it was awesome...and then i quickly followed it with seasons 2, 3, and 4 and concluded that season one was not as awesome as those 3.and even though season 6 was by far the worst...i still enjoyed it.
2/26/2009 6:12:15 AM
i think seasons 1,3,4 and 5 are the "best", with my personal fav being season 3. Season 2 was alright, but I absolutely hated the "side" plot. Season 1 was slow to get in to, but the plot gets really goodAlso note, there are recurring characters in the first 4 seasons that build on plots started in earlier seasons, so yeah, I'd highly recommend just starting off with season 1.[Edited on February 26, 2009 at 8:17 PM. Chloe's strange glances and looks look stranger than ever this season. I'm also getting a little sick of garafalo, hopefully she stays out of the way but I don't see it happening.

you know there's gonna be a huge catfight going down at some pointthey would not have that conversation in front of the senator[Edited on March 2, 2009 at 8:32 PM. Reason : ]

wait.. so why was he playing dumb in front of bauer and being upfront with the president?
3/2/2009 8:44:42 PM
Bauer already blew his cover with the interrogation, he knows they know he's up to something badthough evidence obtained through interrogation would never hold up in court, his blackberry would
3/2/2009 8:51:23 PM
I can't believe they found a legit way to get Renee wet and crawling on all fours. Best writers ever
3/2/2009 8:56:32 PM
I'll bet all those heavy wet clothes are really weighing her down too.........

wtf jack wouldve never bought that
3/2/2009 9:27:04 PM
btw, WTH happened to the President's husband? Last week that was all she could talk about
3/2/2009 9:29:43 PM
still in the hospital
3/2/2009 9:30:40 PM
he's in surgery for the next couple hours, they said that at the beginning of the 8pm episode
3/2/2009 9:30:41 PM
man this is intense. First, I thought Bill was a goner then I thought Aaron pierce was going to be toast. Hell all of that could still happen. Someone needs to save the day. Come on tony.

3/2/2009 9:33:02 PM
ok time to start killing hostages one by one in front of the president's camera, see if she breaks from watching them all die[Edited on March 2, 2009 at 9:39 PM. Reason : hmm jack probably wouldn't let her]
3/2/2009 9:39:12 PM
btw, this season has benefited greatly from taking place in DC. It was always very contrived to have all the action in LA and the President spending so much time on the west coast or in Air Force one. Hopefully next season they will keep it in DC, or maybe NYC.about 30 min behind here - wow.... that was the easiest invasion of the White House ever. [Edited on March 2, 2009 at 9:46 PM. I would have hoped Aaron Pierce would go down in a blaze of gunfire before he let those guys go in that room and catch the girl, the fact he wasnt dead when they brought her back out honestly surprised me^please whine some more, we're not here looking for any and every chance to try and crucify the show, it's just entertainment[Edited on March 2, 2009 at 10:00 PM. who else has hesitations about a female president after watching this season
3/2/2009 10:03:53 PM
heh I'll bet a guy wouldn't be too different w.r.t his familyGIMME BACK MY FAMILY!
3/2/2009 10:06:58 PM

at least they depicted the Africans as resourceful and relatively high tech, as opposed to spear-chucking Zulu warriors
3/2/2009 11:54:30 PM
any idea how the hell jack got out of the safe room, considering he had just shorted out the control panel, MacGyver-style?
3/3/2009 12:00:36 AM
manual release?
3/3/2009 12:08:32 AM
Scary black man chasing a white lady through a forest? I know they weren't intentional, but I couldn't help but think during that entire scene that it just didn't compute well.Speaking of the White House assault, aren't there normally marines stationed in the White House? Even if they're a dress unit, I would have thought that for a "red alert" like that, they'd have brought out heavier firepower than what they had. Even if there aren't a regular contingent of marines in the White House, wouldn't the ones who blew open the doors to snag Bauer have still been around to do battle in the hallways with Juma and Co.?

^he means once you've locked it from the insidealso, I've got my money on Renee going rogue and sneaking in some back entrance to the White House or somethingbut if we're going to argue about impracticalities, I think it's funny that the secret service and FBI both don't seem to have access to all of those CCTVs in the White House that Juma used both to break in and also to get the president to come outalso, <= 4000th post holla
3/3/2009 3:24:12 PM

Shouldn't the safe room in the White House have some sort of secret passage to escape??
3/3/2009 6:34:06 PM
^That kinda negates the purpose of the safe room. Once your in, your staying in there until whatever you are hiding from is gone.
