Maybe Hampton will miss the entire season and we won't have to pay him again.
4/9/2007 9:58:53 AM
^ I am not sure we have an insurance policy on him this year. I know we had him insured last year, but I thought that all those companies that insured guys like Hampton and Griffey more or less went out of business. Hampton should just give back most of his money. He sure as hell hasn't earned shit in two years.

4/9/2007 5:31:36 PM
wow... another year of easy paychecks for him
4/9/2007 5:35:26 PM
man, i wish i could make bank for what he's doing
4/9/2007 5:36:20 PM
WTF!!! Hampton should just retire or learn how to pitch right handed.
4/9/2007 6:16:42 PM
god i hate him, what a worthless sack of shit. at least colorado and florida are still paying most of his salary....right?
4/9/2007 6:29:51 PM
^ no. The last two years of his deal (07 and 08) are solely the Braves responsibility.
4/9/2007 6:33:01 PM
4/10/2007 7:28:23 AM
perhaps the early success of Davies, James, et al played a part in this decision on the part of Hampton and on the part of the front office allowing it, if in fact they did
4/10/2007 8:35:39 AM
4/10/2007 9:12:00 AM
4/10/2007 11:27:16 AM
^we should check and make sure he actually took the Hippocratic Oath.
4/10/2007 1:28:05 PM
kind of like that ref that took TAs touchdown back against UNC... didn't he go to chapel hill?
4/10/2007 1:59:25 PM
^i believe one of them collapsed at a game at UNC and was saved by UNC Hospital or somethin like that
4/10/2007 3:05:13 PM
KJ missed a homer by INCHES!
4/10/2007 8:19:41 PM

4/10/2007 8:35:02 PM
#343 for his career, Hank had 342 at age 30!
4/10/2007 8:37:37 PM
huddy has been lights out... had 6Ks in 2IPnow 7Ks in 4IP
4/10/2007 8:44:12 PM

4/10/2007 8:47:09 PM
glad i nabbed him off the waiver wire, he's been good so far, and along with beckett and nate robertson i'm having a good pitching night
4/10/2007 8:48:59 PM
motherfuck, kelly johnson just blew the no-no
4/10/2007 8:49:08 PM

4/10/2007 8:49:33 PM
Big hit Frenchy, 2 RBI double.
4/10/2007 9:03:24 PM
Nice, Frenchy with the base clearing double!
4/10/2007 9:03:27 PM
bout time he looks at more than one pitch
4/10/2007 9:06:00 PM
Damn, the Braves are totally kicking ass. This is so fucking awesome! Hopefully will end the night 6-1 on the year. Who would have ever predicted this??
4/10/2007 9:07:41 PM
Brian McCann is........well, hes just amazing
4/10/2007 9:12:53 PM
its also nice knowing huddy only has to go one more inning and its pretty much in the bag with soriano and wickman out there[Edited on April 10, 2007 at 9:20 PM. Reason : g]
4/10/2007 9:20:02 PM
^^^^Yesterday he had a nice at bat in the 8th inning when he hit the double to score Pena.
4/10/2007 9:39:38 PM
why are the royals wearing nationals jerseys?
4/10/2007 9:49:38 PM
A lot of people think this might be the worst team in the history of the sport. Even worse than the '62 Mets. I feel bad for Zimmerman.
4/10/2007 9:50:35 PM
these guys won't win 45 gamestim hudson looks awesome tonightfrancoeur still has no patience but is dangerous on 0-2 countsbrian mccann is my herorandy st. claire (former pitcher for the expos, braves, and others and current natspos pitching coach) sounds like the name of a porn star
4/10/2007 9:53:43 PM
braves will never win without their 2 secret weaponsmark lemkejeff blauser
4/10/2007 9:55:41 PM
great 8th inning. I am going to go ahead and say the braves move to 6-1 and still in sole possesion of first place in the east. VERY NIIIICE.
4/10/2007 10:16:43 PM
4/10/2007 10:18:36 PM
isn't Mark Lemke's wife Cheryl Lemke, who used to (maybe still does?) work for the Weather Channel?
4/11/2007 12:26:12 AM
btw, in his first two starts, hudson has a .62 ERA.........thats pretty fuckin nasty. I'm hoping he has last year behind him and is back to his old form. he looked realllly good tonight
4/11/2007 12:44:29 AM
Another strong win for the Braves last night, but let's recap how horrible the Nats have been this season. They have now been outscored 53-18, have fallen behind at least 3-0 in every game, and have not scored in the first 3 innings in any game. Holy damn this team is horrendous They also have yet to lead a game yet. They are 1-7, but the win came on an RBI single to win the game. Amazing...[Edited on April 11, 2007 at 9:23 AM. Reason : I hope they don't displace the 62 Mets though]
4/11/2007 9:08:21 AM
offense a little lacking tonight... fortunately chuck james has pitched pretty well.Lets see if the pen can do its job
4/11/2007 9:25:48 PM
i hate how raleigh Fox Sports does not pick up the braves games, instead they have poker. Thats some bullshit
4/11/2007 9:34:56 PM
personally, i don't think poker should ever be considered a sport. The craze is over Raleigh FSN.Please broadcast real sports.
4/11/2007 9:35:44 PM
both joneses go deep tonight... gg boys.
4/11/2007 9:42:43 PM
Jones boys are heating up!
4/11/2007 9:48:06 PM
Rough night so far for Soriano.
4/11/2007 9:56:36 PM
Kelly Johnson hasn't been gettin many hits, but hes puttin solid swings on the balls. I think the more at bats he gets, the better hes gonna get.
4/11/2007 10:12:53 PM
yeah but we can't keep a guy hitting .100 on the leadoff spot... that's a guy that we have to be able to get a .350 - .400 from.
4/11/2007 10:37:29 PM
4/11/2007 10:56:19 PM
What a start. Minus that one HORRIBLE inning vrs the METS the braves have looked awesome.
4/11/2007 11:58:47 PM
