rich, have you been signed off by chin in the past for solo or are you just requesting to be solo because of your experience level? cause i would have done VIR twice by the time we do Chin and i'd rather just be solo then have to pay extra for an instructor even though i've never done chin before.

I just answered the question honestly ... no solo with Chin but by the time we get there again solo should not be a problem. I did one solo session with PCA but was not signed off.

Chin events can be a little intimidating. VIR attracts some pretty fast cars and the mix of fast cars and long, open run sessions and a cold track resulted in the greatest number of bent-up cars I've seen at a DE event. It's a great way to learn traffic management, but you might want someone in the car to help you at first.
