I like the show but i think they crossed the line with this one

crossed what line??? there was absolutely nothing in this ep that even approached some of the stuff they have done in the past
11/16/2006 2:13:47 PM
THERE IS NO LINE.

I was watching the episode and thought it was pretty terrible. The Croc jokes shocked me (in a funny way) so they hit their mark. But I must say, the end was fan-fucking-tastic. It was an even more overblown bad-shit-happens-at-the-end episode than the Cartman pubes one.

^ i dont think anything will ever be able to top the end of the scott tennerman must die episode

I don't know why anyone would be shocked about the croc jokes at this point. They did it in the Halloween party episode and now these jokes, I guarantee, were a direct response to people getting offended the first time.

i had a feeling that they would lose the game and the little boy would die, but i didnt think i would just end like that. The steve irwin jokes are just not funny to me in this one.

south park is pretty lackluster when it isn't about the pop culture/new of the weekthe shaky camera + song 2 part was pretty good though

the paris hilton episode was pretty out there

seems like stone and parker got sick of the vehement reaction directed toward them after the original irwin joke and decided to do it againtwice

Seeing as how a lot of the episodes work, I think you could make the argument that the whole episode was a reaction to how badly some people took the original Irwin joke.In a way, the whole episode is basically saying, "Look, we will make fun of whatever we want and you will deal with it". Hence, making fun of a kid with cancer, one of those things that some might think, "You just don't make fun of that, it crosses the line" (as seen by posts above)
