I've never watched "director's cuts" until this season, I'm not sure if they were even on the website the last season

but the dvds just have deleted scenes for each episode, so I'm sure that's the same thing

tons of little hilarious parts, but I'm not feeling that Jim's "already seeing" that other chick

just like last episode she was like "he's not feeling me..."

i noticed that too. im glad the "extra long" office was really just a normal office with extra product endorsements in it and more commercials.

I think he just said that as kind of a defense against Pam. I think he does have kind of a crush on Karen, but is obviously not "seeing her", but he wants to show Pam that he's moved on, and her rejection didn't destroy him.

He stills calls her by her last name.

I think it's more on friendly terms than anything. Don't tell me you haven't hung out with a coworker *gasp* after work hours?

The gum was just a small detail that Karen was watching out for him.

The hand on the back thing...notice it was her and not him, and we know that she has a thing for him.

He probably has a hunch that she's into him, and he's starting to look into it.

Yeah Kevin is shredding things saying "this shredder is awesome". Cut to Staples commercial of the same shredder. Back to the show and someone asks him where he got his shredder and he says "I got it at Staples" and looks at the camera. Next commercial break, same commercial. It was so blatant it made me laugh.

this is the first episode that I've fully gotten in to Andy.
Truthfully, i've been lukewarm on him since he was introduced. Funny, sure. but I feel most of his jokes have been a bit forced (by design, i guess) and I wasn't seeing where he was going with his character.

but he did excellent on this episode. I totally understand his character now that he's in the likes of Dwight and Michael.

Did anybody watch 30 Rock after The Office? There was a lot of product placement for Snapple, done in an even more obvious manner.

the product placement in 30 Rock was obviously satire.
It was a show about doing a show with product placement (GE wanting to place oil refining products into a sketch show. GE, who owns NBC, or course), which used product placement itself.
They made several jokes about it, and about how "clever and ironic" (i.e. lame and old) self-referential shows were, which of course is exactly what they were doing.

The product placement in The Office has nothing to do with that - The Office obviously has a deal wtih Staples this year, just like they had a deal with Chili's last year (and Apple, too).
30 Rock, which being owned by GE and obviously dealing with Snapple, was doing it in a purely ironic fashion.

Anyone know where I can watch the full episode online? NBC only has a two minute recap and my DVR messed up and didn't record.
