I've never watched "director's cuts" until this season, I'm not sure if they were even on the website the last seasonbut the dvds just have deleted scenes for each episode, so I'm sure that's the same thing
11/16/2006 3:39:01 PM
the opening was goodnot as good as last week's, but still good.

11/16/2006 9:05:46 PM
i don't think people buy shredders because they see them on the office...

11/16/2006 10:01:19 PM
i dont like when they try to have pam be funny, she is a more of a "straight man"like when dwight was running around the office and she was talking to the camera, just not htat funny
11/16/2006 10:54:32 PM
wtf was up with Toby trying to 'pound' jim instead of a handshake?was he trying to be cool, or impress jim, or what?
11/16/2006 10:58:00 PM

I think he just said that as kind of a defense against Pam. I think he does have kind of a crush on Karen, but is obviously not "seeing her", but he wants to show Pam that he's moved on, and her rejection didn't destroy him.
11/17/2006 9:24:29 AM
^ yeah I think that is exactly what is going on.
11/17/2006 9:28:17 AM
^^yeah, exactly. bc the way he jumped out of the car to talk to pam, he was trying to make a point.
11/17/2006 9:35:35 AM
then why did they meet up after work last nightor the scratching of the back and the gum
11/17/2006 9:36:42 AM
He stills calls her by her last name.I think it's more on friendly terms than anything. Don't tell me you haven't hung out with a coworker *gasp* after work hours? The gum was just a small detail that Karen was watching out for him.The hand on the back thing...notice it was her and not him, and we know that she has a thing for him. He probably has a hunch that she's into him, and he's starting to look into it.

11/17/2006 9:47:25 AM
^ OMG!
11/17/2006 10:01:40 AM
^if it results in Kevin smiling at the camera, then it was worth it
11/17/2006 10:02:12 AM

this is the first episode that I've fully gotten in to Andy. Truthfully, i've been lukewarm on him since he was introduced. Funny, sure. but I feel most of his jokes have been a bit forced (by design, i guess) and I wasn't seeing where he was going with his character. but he did excellent on this episode. I totally understand his character now that he's in the likes of Dwight and Michael.
11/17/2006 10:09:52 AM
Stanleys reaction to the chestpound had me rolling.
11/17/2006 10:27:00 AM
^ same here, you could read his mind:

Did anybody watch 30 Rock after The Office? There was a lot of product placement for Snapple, done in an even more obvious manner.
11/17/2006 10:37:45 AM
the product placement in 30 Rock was obviously satire. It was a show about doing a show with product placement (GE wanting to place oil refining products into a sketch show. GE, who owns NBC, or course), which used product placement itself. They made several jokes about it, and about how "clever and ironic" (i.e. lame and old) self-referential shows were, which of course is exactly what they were doing. The product placement in The Office has nothing to do with that - The Office obviously has a deal wtih Staples this year, just like they had a deal with Chili's last year (and Apple, too). 30 Rock, which being owned by GE and obviously dealing with Snapple, was doing it in a purely ironic fashion.
11/17/2006 10:41:49 AM
i think my favorite moment last night was the look pam gave when karen gave jim that piece of gum
11/17/2006 1:43:53 PM
Anyone know where I can watch the full episode online? NBC only has a two minute recap and my DVR messed up and didn't record.
