depends on what you're goin for- i do a little bit before to warm up, then at a completely different time of day do a real amountif i do one before the other, i notice that the latter will suffer (if it is cardio, i will find myself draggin ass wanting to quit early (if i even do it at all), and if i do alot before i lift, i notice i can't lift as long)

i mean, before every exercise i do, i do a really light weight about 15-30 times (first exercise is usually 30) just to "mimic" the exercise, as you put itand as for pullups, i do 6 sets till failure goin wide, reg, narrow, repeat, where I'm normally able to get about 15-20 on the first set, and around 8 or so on the last set... i find that warms me up plenty for back (and actually is a good little workout in itself)
