I'd bet none of your pieces of shit can do 85 in 2nd.
8/3/2006 4:34:45 PM

8/5/2006 8:30:27 PM
8/5/2006 10:29:33 PM
yeah, the taillight assembly wouldn't be my choice. neither would blacked out wheels on a black car. that said, don't let them give you shit. if you like the way the car looks, good for you man.

8/6/2006 1:50:15 AM
^^^ i'd rather drive the car in polzei clothing. & i hate cars that stand out.
8/6/2006 2:41:28 AM
Your tail lights ARE ugly, as are the wheels (mostly because they're on a black car). This is all subjective ofcourse. I could care less if you think purple neons would enhance the look of your car. We were just giving you crap, take it lightly.Ahmet
8/6/2006 2:57:40 AM
thats cool, I just bought the car in that condition and havent had the time/desire to change anything. I think the wheels are just a case of not seeing it in person. A lot of people I have talked to, strangers and friends, think they look really good, as do I. Of course, if I ever do get tired of them, I could sell them for a pretty sum of money, since online vendors are selling them for 900-950 a wheel (fikse wheels).Hell, I know you guys are just giving people crap anyways. I have been on tww long enough to know that even if I had a bugatti veyron that I got brand new for 20k, someone would still find a way to rag on it.
8/6/2006 1:18:32 PM
lets trade tail lights, amhet
8/6/2006 1:41:08 PM
Ahmet you look like a mad professor
8/6/2006 2:55:59 PM
Evet, nedense bazen biraz manyak gibi gözüküyorum. Ahmet
8/6/2006 3:15:39 PM
what does a foreign language and a picture of you have to do with this thread?
8/6/2006 6:35:43 PM
8/6/2006 9:43:24 PM
i drove around last night in the coool night air. revving and shifting like a mad man. beat the piss out of my motor AND IT ASKED FOR MORE!! MORE IT SAID, MOREEEE!! so i gave it moreeeeee. shifting! SHIFTING! 1-2, 2-3,3-444!!!!!!!! blurb, blurb, blurb, as i flick off downshift. VROOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM back up 1-2,2-3,3-4!!!!!
8/7/2006 9:22:00 AM
that sounds like a bf.c kill story
8/7/2006 1:28:25 PM
2-3, 3-4. yeaahh.bahah sorry, man, i am/was bored
8/7/2006 1:56:16 PM
8/7/2006 1:56:51 PM
i just bought an intake off some dude.VAROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.slow days at work cost me money.
8/7/2006 2:00:06 PM
ahaha Ahmet .Driving around Sat afternoon was pretty fun. Golovko relearned how to drive a 6spd as I felt my rear diff get hammered(ahah just kiddin ) but the temps were definitely nice this weekend.I'm hoping the rain tonight is going to make driving spirited again. I might go for an extended cruise.
8/7/2006 2:01:06 PM
Ahmet inspired me to engine brake more. cuz you know, clutches and piston rings are easier to replace than brake pads.[Edited on August 7, 2006 at 2:08 PM. Reason : adfdf]
8/7/2006 2:08:23 PM
Revmatching on dowshifts is good practice regardless, whether you use that for breaking or not is up to you and how much wear you want to place on your engine.
8/7/2006 2:24:32 PM
yeh, i do it at the track, y0. and its fun on the street, but i don't do it all the time. i'm lazy i guess
8/7/2006 2:30:30 PM
Yea I tree too for the most part but sometimes, especially after work, I just don't care enough to be attentive.Bad habits.
8/7/2006 2:31:35 PM
I mean, I like to shift often. Done properly it shouldn't really increase the wear on anything by a significant amount. Double clutching doesn't help the transmission by much IMO, not in the day of molybedium synchros, etc. Rev matching, I could see saving the mounts/driveshaft, etc. some wear, but when it comes down to it, I drive the way I do to be smooth, and to be in the right gear/powerband when it's time to accelerate, and really nothing more.Ahmet
8/7/2006 3:05:56 PM
SandSanta, what do you drive? Doesn't Mark already know how to drive a 6 speed (STi)?Either way, both of you should come out and do some track events, couldn't hurt regardless of how good you are. I'm hoping to get a few under my belt and start instructing this year.Ahmet
8/7/2006 3:11:23 PM
Hint:Yea we're actually planning on doing some track events september moving forward.
8/7/2006 4:06:27 PM
"Did you hear that sweet double-clutching action""nah man""That's because it was so smooth."I actually had this conversation last week. lol.
8/7/2006 5:25:34 PM
well im learning to like shifting a lot. also, i got the 540 to shake her ass tonight going into third gear, stability control and all. adding the intake wasnt noticable until i removed the intake silencer. now it sounds like it should.
8/7/2006 9:40:20 PM
Ya, that's a sweet sounding V8... I'd like to hear it sometime.Ahmet
8/7/2006 10:06:50 PM
wait till i get the exhaust silencer removed. i cant believe what bmw did designing the exhaust for this car.
8/7/2006 10:26:30 PM
I hear they pick up quite a bit of power from openning up the intake/exhaust, but don't make the car too loud, part of it's appeal was almost 300hp/ft-lbs in what amounts to quite the noise free car.Ahmet
8/7/2006 10:30:04 PM
well did you see his bonneville? i predict this thing goes to shit in less than a month.
8/8/2006 1:07:54 AM
Cut him some slack.
8/8/2006 1:19:51 AM
you must be new to the wolf web

8/8/2006 1:28:42 AM
I really wish we'd take a real TWW roadtrip to the mountains and take pics.
8/8/2006 1:29:47 AM
forget mountains. i found plenty of great parking garages in downtown raleigh.
8/8/2006 1:35:49 AM
totally totally different ballgame.
8/8/2006 8:25:59 AM
Cruising in Raleigh isn't really fun. Too much traffic, even more police patrols.
8/8/2006 9:38:47 AM
i misread. thought you meant photoshoot. nvm [Edited on August 8, 2006 at 4:57 PM. Reason : adsf]

BMW has used the tagline "Ultimate Driving Machine" for 31 years... Regardless, BMW is dropping the successful phrase and replacing it with "A Company of Ideas". I guess a company of bad ideas nowadays...Ahmet[Edited on August 9, 2006 at 1:39 AM. Reason : ]
