^^ yeah, I mean everyone is bitching about the online system saying it sucks and blah blah blah. Just think, the tickets that those people requested for guests and didn't claim either ticket would have been wasted and not available. good grief. This system has it's flaws as with anything new but there's a lot of people going to these games that wouldn't be going if the system had stayed the same.

i still dont see how some of these things this fixes many problems. they only scan them at the gate. so even if they match up with hte scanners at the gate ppl can still pull the ol hijinx of using someone else's ticket to get into the section they want.

oh, btw folks...don't do pass-ups...we have people in teh stands that will immediately pull you out of the section and throw you out of the game if they see it happening...and you won't know who these people are until it's too late

^^^ how hard would it be to get it where your ticket is stamped with a number and you get the same number on your hand at the gate. Then you have to show that they match to get into the section. That's the only way to stop people from handing off their tickets unless you go to full GA. or have scanners at each section. The ticket must be scanned once to get the gate and once to get in your section and give out wristbands. At the section entrance, the ticket must have already been scanned once. If it has been scanned twice, then you must have the corresponding section wrist band to get in. That's the only way to prevent assholes from getting into sections they shouldn't.

is it possible to request tickets and win, and also get 2 guest passes and pay for them without actually claiming the tickets? i don't think that the system charges if the tickets aren't claimed.

I can only say it one way...there won't be any available...

the purpose is to force students to learn some sense of responsibility...you have a week to get tickets, and if they are unclaimed so be it...

or future goal is to probably sell these tickets if there are any leftover, but that won't happen for a while

i agree that a week is a long time, but whats the reason to disallow students to get last minute tickets if things change?

Are you serious?! In a entire week, you're telling me you're not mature enough and lack the foresight and proactiveness to determine whether you're going to want to come to the game or not? There's no excuse to have an entire week of chances to get tickets and you don't. None.
