^^ Spin is awesome. If you decide you like it and want to keep doing it, you should get some shoes with SPD clips. It makes a world of difference.

I love spin classes. It's hard during the week to do any sort of long, hard bike ride in LA--too much traffic, not enough bike paths. Spinning lets me go as hard as I want and really punish myself; I've definitely noticed a difference in my normal cycling since I started doing the indoor classes.

Started cutting back on some of the cardio in p90x to see if I can burn/sweat less and maybe gain a bit more. I am still super active playing frisbee and soon to be trail hiking so it isn't like I am loafing about on non-lift days. Yoga is still a must though!

Given that I got a rather late start I know that I am going to miss this pool/beach season but that just gives me all winter/spring to really get to my goal (If I am not there by October) and then focus on maintaining so by the time next season rolls around I will be ready to go from day 1!
