Oh,sorry. I'll delete. I guess I didn't think of it as a spoiler since it's all over the internets.[Edited on May 24, 2014 at 3:43 PM. Reason : PS - Snape kills Dumbledore. ]

This spoiler business is ridiculous. Heres a spoiler, someone dies real soon
5/24/2014 3:52:50 PM
More spoilers: Some characters are not going to die this season.
5/24/2014 6:34:38 PM
Probablyisn 't a big deal for those characters but if someone had posted that Sean benn wouldn't be back after first season, obviously a huge spoiler. Or that jack Gleeson would only be in a few eps this season. Therefore best to avoid casting news until season is over, IMO.
5/24/2014 8:01:20 PM
was disheartened there wasn't an episode Sunday
5/28/2014 8:34:52 AM
^^Someone actually did post a spoiler on page 3 of this thread about Ned dying. He said something along the lines of he felt that Sean Bean was being wasted on Ned Stark given his upcoming fate.
5/28/2014 8:56:54 AM
Sean Bean being cast to die isn't really a spoiler, now is it?

Did the mountain die too?
6/1/2014 10:18:14 PM
^ my thought as well.If he did, does Tyrion still die? Is it a do-over?
6/1/2014 10:23:12 PM
seems like this show tries too hard to be shocking... it's almost that it is expected to have shocking shows. (i've never seen it though so i could be wrong... basing this solely on facebook posts.)

Pretty weak episode. At least they showed those mulatto bewbs as a distraction.
6/1/2014 10:43:35 PM
how was it a cop out?Anyway, I was looking forward to that fight all season (loved it in the books) and I thought it was really well done on the show.
6/1/2014 10:51:16 PM
i guess its ok to talk spoiler (im not a book reader) i really thought oberyn would have destroyed the mountain, and had a greater role in the series. that's just me though. he's a strong character and the fact he got killed by the mountain after it was essentially established oberyn won was totally fucking lame.[Edited on June 1, 2014 at 11:01 PM. Reason : ,]
6/1/2014 11:01:02 PM
How did you get that he had won? It is a fight to the death and he let his guard down while the other guy was still breathing. Not to mention that the other guy was considered to be the most dangerous man alive by most people.
6/1/2014 11:13:17 PM
putting the strongest warrior on his back sounds like a win to me. but it follows the hollywood cliche of talking too much instead of actually going for the kill and waiting for your opponent's heart to stop beaing before you talk shit.
6/1/2014 11:15:52 PM
Everything is a cliche of something, so stating something is a cliche (or a "trope" in the new internet lingo) isn't a valid critique. If Obyrn won it outright would be a cliche also.
6/2/2014 12:05:53 AM
Weak episode except for the fight... and I thought the fight would be more drawn out than it was.I also thought it was cliche that he is boasting and then gets beat... It would have been better if it would have happened almost immediately after the mountain fell down....instead of dragging it out. I had no doubt at all that something was going to happen while he was standing their spouting off at the mouth... I will admit the way Oberyn died did still shock me...crazy

I know most of the talk has focused on the fight and rightfully so.... but how exactly did Dany think Jorah was getting the information from Kings Landing. It's pretty obvious he was exchanging information with Varys. She is supposed to be a leader but doesn't know how exchange of information can be helpful?

I thought the fight scene was kind of corny. I liked the spear moves and all that but that line he kept repeating got kind of cheesy after the second or third time. Sucks he died, I really liked his character and the actor - but so it goes with GoT. I thought they were building up the Hound vs. the Mountain (in addition to the fight we saw) so it's not totally surprising that he's dead because it sets up the Hound's revenge but damn, I did not see him going out like that There is no way Tyrion dies. Something is going to happen to get him out of it. The scene at the Vale is awesome, too, when Arya just starts laughing her ass off - I can't imagine what was going through the gatekeeper's heads when she did that. **PREVIEW SPOILER**the preview looks badass - looks like we're going to see some shit go down at the wall.[Edited on June 2, 2014 at 11:12 AM. from the previews, it looks like the whole episode will be wall-centric? so does that mean the finale will be like 5-8 minutes on every other character? seems like a lot if done that way with not much time with each character's story.

I'm very curious what those who disliked the fact that the Viper got defeated like that in the end would have rather seen go down in that fight. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and not everyone will ever agree on something like this, but it really seems to be one of those cases of a complaint without anyone who thought it was lame actually offering a "better" outcome. Is Oberyn (the smaller, fleet-footed fighter) taking down 'Goliath' to save the show's most popular character less predictable and less trope-driven? Is Oberyn, the new character that a lot of fans really enjoyed and expected to have a bigger role going forward, taking down the 'bad-guy' Mountain (who has had very little screen time and would be easy to kill-off) to save the show's most popular character less predictable or not a cop-out?As far as the monologuing, I actually thought it was handled rather well compared to most forms of media that have used it; it wasn't forceful, boastful, or jarring (out of place and obviously- from the start- predictably used for the act of setting up the comeback). It came off passion-driven for revenge and more like he got caught up in the moment. I personally think the act of GRRM using the Mountain to come back at the end and so brutally and swiftly finish Oberyn, putting Tyrion's future in question was maybe the least predictable option.I'm not saying it was the best fight in TV history or anything, but I guess I don't see what so many people have been complaining about online today. I knew exactly what was going to happen and was still on edge during that scene. I thought it was really well done.[Edited on June 2, 2014 at 6:20 PM. Reason : ]

i had this gut feeling he was in for it. No one on this show gets revenge.
