It's supposedly taken from Donte Moss's myspace page, it was posted at the bottom of the 2nd page of this thread, after he committed to UNC.

So I just watched a highlight video of Jomantas from one of his games this year. He will easily be the tallest player on the field nearly every game. He's got a mean streak in him, but doesn't play dirty, which makes sense since he originally played defensive end. He moves well and has good footwork, which is probably due to his basketball background. He will definitely need to put on some weight though to take on BCS level defensive ends if he stays at offensive tackle, but he'd be fine right now as a tight end. I'm happy that the coaches offered him, even though he went almost unnoticed by the scouts. His other offers were from Ohio, Ball State and Kansas.Besides Crisp, who in this recruiting class are you excited about? I'm excited about Thomas Teal. Supposedly he was almost unblockable at the Shrine Bowl practices and game.

yep, anderson. and wilkins, if he sticks around.
12/28/2009 2:43:27 PM
^you mean amerson?
12/28/2009 3:11:20 PM
indeed i do. i knew that. and it was in the immediately preceding comment. damn.
12/28/2009 4:03:00 PM
Winkles... funny name for a FB, but looking forward to see what he can do, sounds like a tough kidAmerson... stated abovePalmer... speed, been a long time coming but it looks like he'll be here in Jan with two years left to playCreecy... built for the slot, can make the tough catch over the middle
12/28/2009 4:13:43 PM
I second Teal. I remember thinking the guy looked like a bulldozer in his videos.
12/28/2009 10:58:43 PM
In the Shrine Bowl game the NC team constantly double teamed Teal.If we are to succeed in elevating this program we need to do a better job of locking up the top talent. And if this state as a whole is going to be taken seriously when it comes to football then the other programs better do their part in keeping the best talent in-state. South Carolina and Clemson lose very few players ranked in the top ten in SC. We actually did pretty well this year. According to Rivals mid-season Top 30, we secured 4 of the top 10, and 5 of the top 18. I imagine if they ever update it for the end of the season then Wilkins would end up on there, which would give us 6 of the Top 30. According to the Charlotte Observer's top 25, which was recently updated after the Shrine Bowl game, we have 3 of the top 10, and 6 of the top 22 in the state. That's nice and all, but imagine if we could keep some of those others like Keenan Allen home, as well as grabbing some of the best from the surrounding states, like Teal.11 of the Charlotte Observer's top 25 are going out of state, with three of those being in the top 5. Hopefully Shembo and Moore will change their minds about Notre Dame.
12/29/2009 1:23:11 AM
We need to start putting more than 5-7 W's on the board each year before the 'top talent' takes us serious.
12/29/2009 4:11:57 PM
Even with next years schedule. Its time for wins.
12/29/2009 4:55:12 PM
^^ True. Keenan Allen said in an interview during the Shrine Bowl game that one reason he chose Alabama was b/c he wanted to go to a program that was already established and wasn't building.
12/29/2009 6:47:47 PM
we're never gonna be able to consistently compete with the Alabamas and Floridas of the world. But if we can start to consistently win 8-9 games a year, we'll be able to keep a few more kids in state than normal. But if Alabama or Florida come calling for the top 5 players in the state, we're more than likely gonna lose em
12/29/2009 6:51:57 PM
If we start winning 8 or 9 games a season recruiting will be a lot easier
12/29/2009 7:01:15 PM
UF used to be terrible. Well terrible is probably the wrong word, but they were an afterthought when it came to football b/c UM and FSU dominated. UF was getting beat so bad by Miami that they stopped their series, and just now tried to get it started again, b/c they see that they are good now and Miami hasn't been their usual self, so they wanted to win some against the Canes and start thumping their chest. UF wasn't the dominant program that they are now until Spurrier came there. We can become the football school in this state, but we've got to start winning. That task will be harder if we can't lock up some of the top talent in the state. Thankfully we've got Crisp, Creecy, and Amerson headed in this year. Hopefully Hunter can make it in too.
12/29/2009 7:37:46 PM
looks like we're already off to a prett good start with the 2011 class. A bunch of really good juniors have us listed in their top 2 or leading. discuss... and somebody post some juicy recruiting news.
12/31/2009 2:49:28 PM
I know it seems like Mustafa Greene has us and Rutgers as his top two choices, but although he has family from the NY/NJ area, I think we have a good advantage in that we are closer to where his parents live and we don't have 3-4 guys committed that can play RB like Rutgers does. It makes more sense for him to come here since the competition for playing wouldn't be as much.
12/31/2009 3:37:22 PM
So what is going on with Hunter? After his suspension I haven't heard much, but there hasn't been much news one way or the other.
12/31/2009 4:52:45 PM
He's still committed and working hard to improve his grades.
12/31/2009 5:12:01 PM
rivals has hunter back at a 4-star
1/3/2010 8:23:52 PM
not 100% on this but rumor is White committed to Wisconsin
1/3/2010 11:57:23 PM
^It's true.
1/4/2010 8:04:40 AM
True.Hope we get Greene or put the full-court on Parks, the UVA commit from North Carolina.
1/4/2010 8:20:17 AM
oh well. mustafa has a cooler name.
1/4/2010 4:46:56 PM
don't have the link, but i read earlier on packpride a link from somewhere that says we supposedly hold a slight lead for Greene......also, he is YET to officially visit us.
1/4/2010 5:30:45 PM
I don't want Parks. He's too small and too slow. He's productive in HS, but how many 5'6 backs have been productive in a BCS conference? How many of those ran a 4.7?
1/4/2010 5:41:22 PM
So Akinniyi, Fergusson, Overgarrd and Roberson are enrolling early.Weren't there supposed to be some other? Particularly Crisp (and Singer), didn't they transfer HS so they could graduate early?
1/8/2010 12:31:51 PM
Mustafa Greene will be here this weekend according to PP.
1/11/2010 12:35:05 PM
1/11/2010 12:42:36 PM
Looks like we are in Mustafa's final 3.MUSTAFAAAA
1/11/2010 12:49:37 PM
^more like final 2, and have been for a LONG time.
1/11/2010 2:45:36 PM
My name is Mustafa and I am the man who will be killing you.

1/11/2010 3:02:03 PM
^6'-0" and 219 lbs out of high school. Its like calling the fat boy tinny.
1/11/2010 3:05:32 PM
^really? hmmm... i could have sworn there were discussions about him being undersized coming out of HS. oh well, I stand corrected.
1/11/2010 3:07:13 PM
Not to correct you. I'm just saying, I played against him. Google Tristian Mcclendon , I believe that was his bio.

I, too, played football against TA. It was like hitting a brick wall anytime you tried to tackle him. It was a physically painful task.
1/11/2010 4:02:03 PM
I was gonna say TA wasn't small just criticized for playing in 1AA against smaller kids but I dont want to offend you guys Man thinking about how good TA could've been makes me sad, what a waste of talent
1/11/2010 4:16:20 PM
KING OF THE TUB
1/11/2010 4:30:32 PM
lol 6'1 218 and runs a 4.39 COMPLETELY relevant to the 5'6 4.7 guy
1/11/2010 4:34:11 PM
clearly i had my facts wrong and have admitted as much. thanks for playing.
1/11/2010 4:39:42 PM
1/11/2010 4:50:25 PM
According to PP Bryan Underwood firmed up his commitment with us, so that's good to hear that he got his academics in order. He'll be a good slot receiver for us.
