^^ The funeral home director said muslim tradition bans the use of embalming fluid, so he is up against the clock to get something done with the body.

I still think they should have cremated him and sent his ass back to Russia in a US mail flat rate box.

What a bunch of unbelievable idiots. These morons will make it much harder for the country to recover from this. I seriously hope ordinary people have their BS-detectors on full throttle.

he blows up the pics to such a blurry level that nothing is fucking clear... but he draws conclusion. wtf.

HMM

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/europe/2013/05/2013530151524586438.html

Quote :
"The father of a Chechen immigrant to the US, who died while being interrogated by the FBI about ties to a Boston Marathon bombings suspect, has said that agents killed his son "execution style".

At a news conference on Thursday in Moscow, Abdulbaki Todashev showed journalists 16 photographs he said were of his son, Ibragim, in a Florida morgue.

Todashev said his son, who was shot last week, had six gunshot wounds to his torso and one to the back of his head, and said the pictures were taken by his son's friend, Khusen Taramov.

"My son didn't have any weapons," he said. "They questioned him for eight hours - eight hours! That's an entire working day. You question a person for eight hours and you can provoke him to do anything.

"But my son didn't have a gun, didn't have a knife. Supposedly there's information that he went to the kitchen and took a knife and threw himself on it - they discussed that version of events at one stage," said Todashev.

It was not immediately possible to authenticate the photographs he presented of his son.

"I've only ever seen or heard of these kinds of things in movies: that they would shoot my son, I mean shoot a person, and then just in case shoot him in the head," said Todashev.

"I want justice and I want there to be an investigation. I want them to try these people according to American law.

"These aren't employees of the FBI, they're just bandits, that's all that I can call them."

The FBI says 27-year-old Ibragim Todashev was killed during a violent confrontation on May 22 while being questioned about ties to killed Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, as well as about a 2011 triple killing in Massachusetts.

US media on Wednesday quoted unamed law enforcement as stating that Todashev had lunged at an FBI agent and overturned the table, but had neither a gun nor a knife."

The reason to be skeptical is that its a quote from a friend, who doesn't know more about what happened than us. Not because of aljazeera, their English reporting isn't bad.

that by line pisses me off - "how a popular, promising student was failed by his family, fell into radical islam and became a monster"

that makes it sound like it wasn't his fault or something. anyone with an ounce of goddam sense wouldn't do what he did, so fuck him

We've put bigger mass murders and crazies on covers of magazines before.

Why the double standard for Rolling Stone?

Rolling Stone has gone downhill over the years, but seemingly so have most publications, so relatively speaking they do some pretty good journalism. Michael Hastings being a good example before his unfortunate death (or murder?). I'm interested in reading the article.

i still don't get it

i have no doubt it's a good article, but the reason it got the cover is because he was "one of the realest dudes," "superchill," "gorgeous," and "smooth as fuck?" He was such a normal dude who purposely laid a bomb on a crowded street and murdered people, so that deserves the cover? "HOW COULD HE DO IT HE WAS SUCH A CHILLAXING DUDE?"

I'm not all up in arms screaming RAWR RAWR RAWR but I still don't get it. Regardless of CVS and Walgreens, this mug will sell some copies so perhaps there is that [/cynicism]
