Ganso and Lucas are the next big things apparently. Plus we all know Sandro is a beast.

"and you're out of it, that midfield is pretty strong. Just because you don't see Kaka or Ronaldinho doesn't mean it's weak at all. Ganso is amazing and so are Wellington and Lucas. "

I was looking at the Wiki page and for some reason Ganso wasnt on the roster they had listed in the latest call ups. And Wellington, I thought, played more up front but given he has been capped only once and his loan club is rarely on tv here I honestly haven't seen him play.

So I know this is basically their u23 Olympic team and widely recognizes as not their A team, who would you consider their A squad?

Julio Cesar in goal. Dani Alves and Maicon added in the back. Robinho up front. I guess they'd probably want Kaka and/or Ronaldhino on the squad for experience?

Brazil seems to be going through a re-building phase as all the players who were very young in 2002 begin to retire. Also, I think you're confusing Wellington, a young midfielder playing in Brazil, with Welliton, an older forward playing in Russia. I haven't seem them play, but Ganso and Lucas are going to be a big part of this team for the next ten years or so from what I hear. They are both being linked with all the big clubs in Europe and it is generally believed they could make an immediate impact. This is probably most of the team that Brazil will bring to WC14, aside from Alves and possibly Maicon and Robinho. But without a major tournament until Copa America next year, there's really no reason not to blood the youngsters who will be mainstays by that time.

^^ don't forget Lucio, maybe Fred too, I don't expect to see Ronaldinho in a Brazil uniform any more though, he's fallen out of favor and is past his prime

Boca/Gooch are terrible. Everybody else is trying to play out of the back and theyre just blasting it.

Johnson looks damn good. Looks like we finally have a capable left back

I didn't mind the last goal as much. We were being positive going forward and just got caught.

^ agreed, he has been out of position quite often and of course conceding the penalty.

Ok, so why was that a bad challenge? Jones got the ball completely before Neymar landed on his leg after he jumped up.

Did I miss high studs?

Brazil is whooping ass. And I knew Marcelo was a little bitch in la liga, but I would think he would calm it down for a friendly. Guess he really is a big bitch. I'm not sure if Bazil has another LB, but I wouldn't take him to the Olympics. He is bound to get sent off in a big game
