Speaking of PA they have a state supreme court justice leaving the Democrat party over antisemitism.

Party affiliation is not supposed to determine legal rulings, but we all know how that can be!

OK, so this justice will continue to be sympathetic to the Jewish position on relevant cases. Doesn't mean they start toeing the Conservative line on all other issues. Is the justice just moving to unaffiliated / independent, or actually switching parties?

Quote :
" FROM ATTORNEY GENERAL
- PHIL WEISER - Regarding the governor commuting the sentence
of convicted former Mesa County clerk Tina Peters: "Gov. Polis' commutation of Tina Peters' sentence is mind- boggling and wrong as a matter of basic justice. She was convicted by a jury and sentenced for tampering with election equipment and undermining our elections. The judge imposed a reasonable sentence based on her criminal conduct, she has shown no remorse for her crimes, and now the governor is taking this unwise and
unprecedented step of releasing her from prison early. "Caving in to this president will only lead to more abuse from the bullying Trump administration. Today is a sad day
for Colorado and the rule of law."

This is good
Quote :
"Important: Dems will seek to force Republicans to vote on a bill blocking Trump's illegal $1.8 billion slush fund, Rep Jamie Raskin tells me. Dems will use discharge petition.

Hakeem Jeffries is supportive of Raskin's efforts, I'm told.

Some highlights of 2024 autopsy so far

Quote :
"The report calls for greater focus on voters in “Middle America” and the South who it laments have “come to believe they are not included in the Democratic vision.”"

Quote :
"Democratic officials, including at the DNC, have touted Democrats’ over-performance in elections around the country in the past year as a sign the political tides are turning in their favor. But the autopsy warns Democrats against drawing a “false sense of security” from their success in 2025."

" The real reason Democrats lost in 2024

The DNC "autopsy" omits the biggest reason Democrats lost in 2024. In doing so, it fails to prepare the party for the future"
