Pulled Floyd out. Do I pick up Naanee and take a chance or just stick with Boldin?
12/16/2010 7:01:15 PM
^IMO stick with BoldinVernon Davis tonight against SD's tough D or Mercedes Lewis @Indy Sunday?[Edited on December 16, 2010 at 7:05 PM. Reason : .]
12/16/2010 7:04:28 PM
^ that's a tough one. I like both of those TEs this week. Hunch tells me go with Lewisso....on my bench I have both the Chargers defense vs SF and Eagles defense @ NYG (and the Panthers defense is available against shitty Arizona). I need to know by 8pm
12/16/2010 7:16:02 PM
who would you start as your WR3 this week? Roddy White and Vincent Jackson are my top two WRs. non-ppr leagueJoe Webb vs. ChiPierre Garcon vs. JacSantana Moss @ DalSteve johnson @ MiaI'm leaning hard towards Webb just for the novelty of playing a QB at my WR position. We get 1pt per 25 passing yards and 4pt per passing TD
12/16/2010 9:33:00 PM
I'm starting Webb over Colston in our league unless Ramsay gets the last minute start
12/16/2010 9:35:06 PM
where the hell is vernon davis tonight
12/16/2010 9:38:45 PM
Sidney riceEarl bennettStevie johnsonwho to start and why, i need to choose one, calvin johnson is wr1 and torain is my flex option
12/16/2010 9:49:24 PM
^^^^ should have started Jackson in our league.
12/16/2010 9:51:11 PM
Thank god Tolbert got that
12/16/2010 10:32:42 PM
so I sat floyd tonight, slim pickins behind him....do I start:colliesims walker or woodhead?
12/16/2010 11:09:19 PM
<3 Vernon Davis. that dude has shit the bed royally the two times I've gone up against him.and my opponent sat vincent jackson so got to love that.unfortunately I still have Hillis and Mcfadden looming[Edited on December 16, 2010 at 11:21 PM. Reason : :]

vernon davis, thanks for laying an egg. sorry ass terp
12/16/2010 11:23:28 PM
Glad I didn't pick up Naanee, but I'm not liking starting both Boldin and Jennings this week. Looks like Rodgers is out and Boldin has been boom-or-bust all season and leaning more towards the bust side of things.
12/17/2010 9:20:42 AM
12/17/2010 9:26:55 AM
haha I have him in one league... where I have a whopping 2 wins (Most points against ftl )
12/17/2010 9:49:34 AM
glad I put Vjax in last night after hearing Floyd was out!
12/17/2010 9:55:55 AM
McNabb out, Grossman in lol.Pick up Cowboys D immediately.
12/17/2010 12:55:50 PM
What do you guys think of Reggie Bush? He had a pretty good game last week. Do you think he is back and worth starting? I have held on to him all season with this week in mind. If I dont start him, I would have to go with Marshawn Lynch.
12/17/2010 1:06:23 PM
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU VINCENT JACKSON!
12/17/2010 1:55:16 PM
pick 2 RB, non-ppr league:Lesean McCoy @ NYGJonathan Stewart vs. AriLegarrette Blount vs. Det
12/17/2010 2:41:27 PM
haha - I started VJ. my opponent started PR. JV had 35.5 pts; PR had 36.5 pts. also picked up San Diego defense yesterday. 56 1/2 points from 2 guys...not a bad startso now who do I go with at QB? I've been rolling with Flacco, but he's facing NO on Sunday (they're 5th in passing yards allowed). then again Flacco has the highest passer rating in the league over the last couple of months (something like 15 TDs and 2 INTs).I picked up Kitna on a whim giving they're playing Washington, who is near the bottom of the league in pass defense. plus the game is at Dallas.Other available QB's in the FA pool are Garrard (dinged up, @Indy), Colt McCoy (coming off a HAS, @Cincy), Jason Campbell (not 100%, vs. Denver)in other words, a bunch of lingering health issues vs. some terrible teams - could be big payoffs or terrible decisions. I'm tempted to go safe with Flacoo, but part of me is thinking Kitna vs. the Skins is a safe play.
12/17/2010 2:54:44 PM
Pick 3: (Flex, WR, WR)Wes WelkerMarques ColstonReggie WayneHakeem NicksJavarris JamesRashad Jennings
12/17/2010 4:16:24 PM
^^I too am leaning towards Kitna this week. I have him playing over Eli Manning (against Philly)^Welker, Nicks, Wayne[Edited on December 17, 2010 at 8:08 PM. Reason : .]
12/17/2010 8:07:16 PM
Pick two (PPR):Ryan Torain vs. DallasAustin Collie vs. JaxBenJarvus Green-Ellis vs. Green Bay[Edited on December 17, 2010 at 10:11 PM. Reason : .]
12/17/2010 10:08:29 PM
^I'd roll with Torain and lawfirm, simply because they'll touch the ball a lot more than Collie and because we dont know what we're gonna get out of Collie this week
12/18/2010 8:57:51 AM
^^ I would go Stewart and McCoy.I need to pick 2 to start at WR out of:Joe Webb QB/WR, Hines Ward, Mike Williams (sea), Percy Harvin, Sidney Riceand I need to pick 1 at RB out of:Rashard Mendenhall or LeGarrette Blount? Thanks.
12/18/2010 9:03:43 AM
would you start McCoy and Stewart over Mendenhall? I wouldnt, so based on how you ranked my players (as well as my own opinion) I would start Mendenhallalso, I would probably go with Webb and Ward. I'd be interested in hearing how other people feel about that same question. I have Webb, Harvin and Rice on my team, and while I would normally start Harvin and Rice, I have a hard time doing so with Webb as the QB. I would be pretty badass if you could start Webb and Rice/Harvin and get TD points from both WRs if Webb throws a TD pass to Rice/Harvin. However, the Bears defense is very good and they are playing in sub-freezing temps so in all likelihood Webb will have a pretty weak performance - although still better than a lot of WR3 options out there. On the plus-side, the Bears dont have any game film on Webb, and he is a very fast runner (I heard he runs like a 4.4-4.5 40-yard) so he has a chance to make some plays with his feet.how does everyone else feel about Webb as a WR this week? Would you play him above Harvin and/or Rice? Would you start both him and Rice/Harvin?
12/18/2010 9:46:38 AM
I'd prefer a better matchup for Webb in better conditions. I think he also tweaked his hammy recently. He has a decent floor and really nice upside for a WR3 though. In your situation, I would probably start Webb. In order for Rice and Harvin to have good games, someone has to throw them the ball. If you start Webb, you don't have to risk making the wrong choice between starting Rice or Harvin. I don't like the idea of putting all your eggs in one basket, so I would not start both Webb and one of those WRs, especially with the matchup. For me, it boils down to the other choices at WR. I have Johnny Knox and Davonne Bess, so I'm going to make a game time decision on Monday night. If I'm down 20-30 points, I have no choice but to start Webb. If I'm down 10, I might start Knox.[Edited on December 18, 2010 at 10:01 AM. Reason : :]

WR3: (1-djackson, 2-branch)B. Lloyd vs OAK (Tebow QB help or hurt?)Steve Smith vs ARZJacoby Jones vs TENRB (pick 2, currently started MJD and Charles as I have all year)MJD (Q)CharlesBrandon JacksonRashad Jennings (MJD's backup)
12/18/2010 11:19:02 AM
Hmm WR position is tough. Who knows who will be throwing Lloyd the ball, and I don't really like that matchup anyways with Oakland. Steve Smith...hmm. Maybe's he's primed for a good game finally? And definitely start MJD if he's playing. I'd go with Charles too. With Rodgers out in GB, their offense probably won't move the ball much for Jackson. I'd go Jennings if MJD is not playing. But he will be.[Edited on December 18, 2010 at 4:29 PM. Reason : .]
12/18/2010 4:29:09 PM
^^I think you gotta go with Lloyd, because Tebow has a pretty accurate deep ball and Asomugha might not play. As for MJD vs Rashad Jennings, you just gotta wait until gametime and see what the status is on him. You want to start 1 of those guys since they are going against the Colts. Don't start Brandon Jackson; he's worthless against the Pats. Charles is a no-brainer.Now I need some HALP!Defense in my league gets points for return yards. So it's really important that I pick the right one.Oakland vs Denver (Tebow)Dallas vs Washington (Grossman)Arizona vs Carolina (Clausen)Which crappy QB will throw a pick-6? Which D should I use?[Edited on December 18, 2010 at 4:31 PM. Reason : 2]
12/18/2010 4:31:08 PM
You have three of the top 5 defense options this week, so it's pretty much a coin flip. I like Dallas and am assuming Rex Grossman will be just abyssmal. He's your best bet to throw an interception.[Edited on December 18, 2010 at 6:01 PM. Reason : :]
12/18/2010 5:55:35 PM
bench greg jennings?
12/18/2010 6:38:29 PM
3rd WR:Jeremy MaclinSantana MossSidney RiceJoe WebbI am favoring Maclin or Webb. Maclin has been pretty steady since I got him, other than last week, but being able to start a QB as 3rd WR is pretty tempting.RB:MJDJamaal CharlesDarren McFaddenMJD will start as long as he is active. I am leaning towards McFadden, although it seems every week the RB I don't start has a huge, huge game (I started Charles last week).
12/18/2010 9:52:55 PM
i need 3 out of these:desean jacksonmike wallacebrandon lloydmike williams(TB)deion branchi've been starting jackson, wallace and lloyd....however jackson is questionable and denver is starting tebow. So im thinkin about going with wallace, jackson and branch.
12/19/2010 1:19:03 AM
Collie v jacksonville or Austin v washington
12/19/2010 1:35:25 AM
Is collie back and healthy today? Even then, I still probably like austin----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Sidney Rice or Jacoby Jones? .5PPR and return yards count. I would normally go Rice here, but with a rookie QB and crrrraaaaappy weather on the horizon playing a UMinn's outdoor stadium, that seems dangerous. I mean, I know Bernard and Percy aren't playing, so he is going to be the primary target, but can I still count on him? And I saw Slaton doing some returns for Texas last week which kind of diminishes Jacoby's worth. WHAT SAY YOU?
12/19/2010 9:40:54 AM
^^Miles. Was pass D is horrible.^ I don't like either of those two this week but go with Rice.====================================================================So I've been riding my receiving corps most of the year and now they are all healthy but they have QB problems. Rodgers is out for Jennings, Tebow is starting for Lloyd, and Cassel is questionable for Bowe. Do I sit any of those for either: J. Best, T. Choice, J. Knox (have to start 2 WR and 1 RB/WR)? I'm kicking myself for trading away most of my depth for S. Jackson. However having a 1-2 of Turner and Jackson isn't too bad. Best available RB/WR FA: Sims-Walker, Gibson, Armstrong, Obomanu, Starks, Brandon Jackson, and D. Brown====================================================================Need 2: Foster, Chris Johnson, McCoy====================================================================Need 2: Foster, S-Jax, McCoyNeed 3: Andre, Nicks, Jennings, Collie, 85Need 1: Giants, Jets, Cardinals[Edited on December 19, 2010 at 10:02 AM. ^ Foster/S Jax (I would base the odd man out by checking out the weather conditions) Cardinals ************************************************************need 1 QBMatt Ryan @ SeattleJosh Freeman vs DetroitDavid Garrard @ IndyGarrard is questionable, Ryan is at a tough place to play with possible sloppy field conditions, so I am leaning towards Freeman because of the home field and perfect weather
12/19/2010 10:13:56 AM
Eh, I wouldn't overthink it. I'd go with Matty Ice but then again I didn't make the playoffs this year so what do I know.
12/19/2010 10:24:33 AM
^ I don't think you can really go wrong with either Ryan or Freeman. I think I would lean towards Ryan still though.I still can not make up my mind about my 2 WR spots ( I have Deion Branch starting in the 3rd spot). I am playing the 3 seed this week, so can't really afford to make the wrong pick. But I need to pick 2 out of the following to start at WR:Joe Webb QB/WR (yahoo league)Hines WardMike Williams (sea)thoughts? I was leaning towards Webb and Ward, but I'm still not sure?
12/19/2010 10:31:09 AM
My playoff team is laughably bad this week due to several injuries.Kerry Collins, Mike Williams x 2, and Joe Webb (rest of team is actually decent) versus Peyton Manning, Wes Welker, Desean Jackson, and either Pierre Garcon/Austin Collie
12/19/2010 10:32:10 AM
I'm up against it in the 2-3 matchup in our playoffs. All the factors are coming against me. QBs are way overrated in my league (15 passing yards per point and 5 per TD with only -1 per int/fumble) and my opponent picked up Webb. He also has AP who they'll rely on heavily.Anyway, on to my dilemmas. It's hard to sit Lesean, but:Pick ONE: McCoy, Fred Jackson or BJGE-------WR2 has been Brandon Lloyd all year long, but with Tebow that's in the air, so:Pick TWO: Lloyd, Marshall, Garcon and Branch[Edited on December 19, 2010 at 10:49 AM. Reason : ^^ Hines definitely in one of those spots]
12/19/2010 10:48:30 AM
Biofreak70 why did you say Percy is out? This is the first week in a while he isn't even on the injury report...
12/19/2010 11:03:19 AM
^^tough call. I would almost lean Branch and Garcon. I'm not sure Marshall would be a bad pick either though, and of course the minute you bench Lloyd he will go off again. The right move is still to start Mendenhall vs. Jets over Blount vs. Lions right?[Edited on December 19, 2010 at 11:04 AM. yeah I would def. go mendenhall over blountI got a mess at WR... Pick 3Deion Branch / GBDeSean Jackson / NYG (Questionable, ankle concern)Brandon Lloyd / OAK (Has Tebow, in the rain, going against OAK D..)Steve Smith / ARZ (Clausen factor but ARZ Pass D sucks)Jacoby Jones / TEN (Maybe he sneaks in a TD with all the lights on Finnegan/AJ?)

rashad
12/19/2010 11:56:04 AM
^really? MJD is playing todayI would go with Forte out of those options. The Bears are gonna run it a lot in those shitty weather conditions, plus, they could be up by a lot if the Vikings totally roll over
