What if we had the following players for the 2010-11 season?PG John Wall: Soph.G Lorenzo Brown: Soph.F CJ Leslie: Fr.F Tracy Smith: Sr.C DeMarcus Cousins: Soph.Backed up on the bench by an improved backup-PG Javi Gonzalez (Sr.), a dependable outside threat Scott Wood (So.), a combo guard CJ Williams (Jr.), and an athletic/defensive specialist Johnny Thomas (Jr.)Reserves: PG Julius Mays (Jr.), F Richard Howell (Soph.), PG Ryan Harrow (Fr.)
2/27/2009 12:26:40 PM
wow, that is the most optimistic bullshit I have ever seen on here.
2/27/2009 12:55:01 PM
^
2/27/2009 12:58:44 PM
gets you excited, don't it?
2/27/2009 1:00:37 PM
Even if we got Wall and Cousins, there's no way they are both here 2 years. One of them will be one and done, the other probably a 2 year player.
2/27/2009 1:02:15 PM
2/27/2009 1:04:21 PM
replace John Wall with Ryan Harrow in that lineup and you're talking like a sane person. DC hasn't said for sure if he's one and done. He needs to work on his conditioning from what I've seen. THAT would be a distinct possibility if we were to land Cousins. Pretty sick.
2/27/2009 1:11:37 PM
2/27/2009 1:54:11 PM
Howell and Harrow would still see serious PT on that team...
2/27/2009 1:56:17 PM
espnU recruiting special yesterday said that Memphis and Duke are in the lead for John Wall, but that makes no sense to me considering Duke hasnt offered a scholly...that i know of
2/27/2009 1:57:37 PM
^they don't know shit
2/27/2009 1:58:31 PM
According to ESPN, if Duke is listed by a kid, then they have to be a leader.
2/27/2009 2:15:15 PM
Pretty much.
2/27/2009 2:16:14 PM
honestly, espn recruiting is terrible. it's not a rawr rawr espn sucks thing, but they really just spew shit when they talk recruiting.
2/27/2009 2:19:18 PM
Also Duke is now recruiting two other guards. They'ver pretty much given up on landing Wall. They know that they are too late in the game and they know that Wall knows he wouldn't fit in with K's style and coaching.
2/27/2009 2:51:57 PM
i heard some thing about if a high school player plays or goes to school for more than 8 semesters they can't play at a D1-A school or some shit? what are the specifics of this possible rule?
2/27/2009 3:02:48 PM
2/27/2009 3:11:47 PM
I know the lineup is unlikely, I was just thinking hypothetically, "what if Wall and Leslie played together in college?" That led me to realize that Wall would have to stay an extra year for Leslie to get there.
2/27/2009 3:20:15 PM
what if we never lose another game in any sport for the rest of eternity?
2/27/2009 3:30:27 PM
Maybe Wall & Cousins lead NCSU to a national championship..and then they decide they want to do it again.. and they do it with ease, as Leslie and Wall return to their high school glory days..AND THEN they decide they want to do it twice more, and all of a sudden we have 6 national championships..I've been smoking that stuff all day.
2/27/2009 3:31:28 PM
6 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN 4 YEARS[Edited on February 27, 2009 at 4:28 PM. Reason : I know what you're saying before everyone goes crazy btw]
2/27/2009 4:28:33 PM
Well they could only win 3 together, since John is one grade ahead of CJ

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recruiting/classrankings?classyear=2009&classmonth=11&rank=19&viewmore=yesESPN's Top 25 classes19 NC StateSignees: 3ESPNU 100 signees: 2Top prospect: PG Lorenzo BrownSidney Lowe, with a roster chock-full of juniors and seniors, desired a recruiting class that could keep him competitive in the powerful ACC -- and the class of 2008-09 is just what the doctor ordered.Lowe tapped into the never-ending talent pool of the state of Georgia to nab ESPNU 100 prospects 6-foot-4 Lorenzo Brown (Roswell, Ga./Centennial) and 6-8 Richard Howell (Marietta, Ga./Wheeler).Brown, although not the quickest point guard, has all the skill and savvy to be a dynamite player for the Wolfpack. He is very good off the dribble and has the overall talent to make an immediate impact -- and possibly start from the moment he steps on campus.Howell can be a nightmare matchup for opponents. He has the strength and bounce to finish around the basket. However, what makes him so difficult to stop is his quickness, which he utilizes to take opponents off the bounce. While Brown and Howell get most of the attention, Lowe might have found one of the top sleepers in the country in 6-6 Scott Wood (Marion, Ind.). Wood is recognized as one of the most prolific shooters in the country. With Brown's penetration ability, Wood should be available for some ideal catch-and-shoot situations.Top 251. North Carolina2. ^and there's still a possibility of making a huge jump!Either way, I'm excited about this class, although we really could use another big man. How's Duke #6 with only 2 signees?
