not really sure what the point of that was, if you get it they just have even more motivation to go for the fg
11/18/2018 3:57:30 PM
Can we petition to stop having Ronde call our games?
11/18/2018 3:58:21 PM
What a stupid decision
11/18/2018 3:58:23 PM
cam should have had it though
11/18/2018 3:58:59 PM
that was the right decision
11/18/2018 3:59:00 PM
Absolutely not
11/18/2018 3:59:18 PM
Well Gano won us one game and now lost us one.At this point might as well lose out and draft a O line man or D line man
11/18/2018 3:59:32 PM
i guess i get going for 2 since gano has been ass but i don't like that play call...would've rather seen cam roll out. haven't used cam's legs enough in the red zone today imo
11/18/2018 3:59:46 PM
11/18/2018 4:02:30 PM
We need the redskins to lose
11/18/2018 4:04:23 PM
I may be mis-remembering, but didn’t Gano’s first PAT just barely sneak in?
11/18/2018 4:14:40 PM
LOLIONS
11/18/2018 4:35:33 PM
^^ I think you’re right.
11/18/2018 4:44:25 PM
I believe it was a bad call because it could ONLY lose us the game, not win it. Lions still had plenty of time and timeouts to go down the field for a field goal before overtime, even if we convert the 2. The Lions are 3-6 and were absolutely reeling from injuries at that point. Hell, we could have at least saved that second timeout so we could potentially get the ball back with a 3 and out. There was just no reason for Ron to risk a guaranteed L with that call.
11/18/2018 5:11:33 PM
only have to stop them once if they had converted, as opposed to muiltple stops to win the game if it goes to OTdefense was trash all day and Gano was as shaky as he’s been as a Pantherit was the right call
11/18/2018 5:45:20 PM
I mean we could have potentially gotten the ball back in regulation if the Lions attempted a pass that fell incomplete along with the 2 TOs. We could have won in overtime , regulation, or even a tie would have been better. There were multiple ways we could have won that game after scoring the TD, and only one way to guarantee a loss.
11/18/2018 5:50:34 PM
what if Gano misses the XP
11/18/2018 5:51:10 PM
Players make physical mistakes, you can't abandon good sense because of that. I mean, Cam kept going back to Funchess after quite possibly the worst performance I've ever seen from a WR, and he eventually rewarded him. Gano has missed kicks before and bounced back (Colts game in '15 comes to mind). Now he knows his coach no longer trusts him, which is terrible beyond only this game. Also if Gano misses the xp , we still have 2 TOs and a could get the ball back. A big part of why I disagree was the TO to "look at the defense.".[Edited on November 18, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Reason : .]

Picking up 3 yards with Cam as QB isn’t really a low percentage play imo. Lower percentage than an CP? Sure. But not like it’s that impossible.
11/18/2018 6:00:17 PM
True, but then I would have liked to see some sort of run/pass option or even a basic run fake. Whatever, not gonna second guess it anymore. This teams problems go well beyond a single play or call.
11/18/2018 6:32:01 PM
This team needs to wake the fuck up, and in a hurry. Season isn't over, but this team can't win on the road for shit and that's where we'll likely be playing in the playoffs
11/18/2018 7:27:29 PM
I think that was a run-pass option play, but one of the linebackers was playing a rover and made the run risky.
11/18/2018 8:58:53 PM
with Minnesota about to lose I think we're still tops in the wildcard race, the next three games are pretty much must wins though
11/18/2018 11:14:34 PM
Seattle game is huge

11/19/2018 6:21:12 AM
Well it was a broken play. Despite calling the timeout, the Lions had the play covered. Wright broke off from his planned route to the front corner of the end zone because there were two defenders there. Cam was just about to break the pocket and run for the goal line when Wright flashed back open in the middle of the endzone. He made the split second decision to throw it instead, just missed.
11/19/2018 10:12:53 AM
welp we're moving the ball at least(holy hell two fumbles in a row in red zone)[Edited on November 25, 2018 at 3:05 PM. Reason : k]

11/25/2018 3:59:36 PM

11/25/2018 4:02:09 PM

11/25/2018 4:04:11 PM
eh well maybe minn will lose tonight, still with our remaining schedule looks like season is going down the tubes( at least minn has @ pats, @ seahawks coming up)[Edited on November 25, 2018 at 4:09 PM. Reason : k]
11/25/2018 4:07:50 PM
Yeah I think I'm done with the Panthers until there are whole sale changes in FO and coaching staff. Rivera has got to be shittiest "defensive" coach in the league. Just get to 3rd down and throw a bomb , it'll be wide open because we never drop a deep safety and leave Captain fucking Munnerlyn on your fastest player.
11/25/2018 4:11:32 PM
Didn't capitalize on opportunities we had.So frustrating to see Cam, CMC (besides the fumbles), and even the receivers all have great games but we just can't get it done.
11/25/2018 4:16:06 PM
Go back to comment from last week lose the rest for best draft pick and draft a line man on either side. The D line can't get any pressure and it showed this game.
11/25/2018 4:20:21 PM
Our defense has been trash since our first preseason game against the Bills, I even posted saying as much as the time. I figured I was just being the typical overly critical fan about a meaningless game, but that was the canary in the coal mine. And i don't buy that it's the defensive coordinator, the things this defense fails at, it's failed at for 8 seasons. Point in case:https://youtu.be/GltRpz0nrtw?t=85Bottom line, if our front four isn't getting pressure, Rivera doesn't know how to coach defense. But haaaaaay guyyyyz, at least Cam isn't pouting after losses anymore! God forbid he express disappointment with a loss, that's only a thing for franchises that expect to win. [Edited on November 25, 2018 at 4:47 PM. Reason : .]
11/25/2018 4:43:40 PM
you don’t get brownie points for making an assumption during a preseason game
11/25/2018 5:07:19 PM
11/25/2018 5:51:40 PM
You don't win friends with missed field goals
11/25/2018 7:03:07 PM
Go for 2 because you don't trust your kicker to make a PAT. A week later, play for the 50 yard field goal. Riverboatin' baby!
11/25/2018 7:12:06 PM
FUCK
11/25/2018 10:00:42 PM
11/25/2018 11:00:11 PM
shitty ass packers giving us no help
11/25/2018 11:03:58 PM
shouldn’t need help
11/25/2018 11:43:01 PM
I've been pretty happy with Norv overall this season, certainly the most creative offensively we've been since Chudzinski in 2011.Washtington has been garbage, need to get rid of him at the end of the season.Rivera I'm torn on. I think if we make 9-7, playoffs or no, we keep Ron for one more season as long as he's willing to get rid of Washington. 8-8 or lower I think it's time to move on.
11/26/2018 1:05:32 AM
another Ronde Barber game this weekjust now recovering from norovirus and I think I feel it coming back after seeing this news

11/28/2018 11:42:50 AM
so do we want the Saints to win, just so Dallas is much less likely to compete with us for a WC spot?
11/29/2018 8:43:23 PM
the more the Saints win the less they’ll have to play for when we play them
