Well, i called 7-5. Im feeling more confident about that with every week that passes
11/4/2017 9:54:37 PM
that requires us losing 2 of the next 3. highly unlikely.

^All 3 games will be tough and 2 of them will be on the road. It is highly likely it could happen too.As for tonight, Both teams got away with some interference calls, both teams missed a FG, and Clemson is just a better team overall. With that being said, the one thing our coaches did get wrong was when we were driving to take the lead in the 3rd quarter and they went direct snap to the RB on 3 and 2 and then were too chicken to go for it on 4th and short around the 50 yard line in a game where we needed at least a FG on every drive to probably win. Clemson broke through the line for about a 98 yard TD run on the first play after the punt and took a 10 point lead. GAME OVER! The direct snap is an ok play call in that situation under the condition that you have already made up your mind that you are going for it on 4th and less than 5 if you don't get the first down. If you are undecided about 4th down in that situation then keep your QB under center.

Anymore mention of the illegal technology on the sideline?I'm sure Clemson will get a slap on the wrist reprimand if anything but still interested that was the first thing DD mentioned
11/4/2017 10:23:51 PM
they used a technology developed by the university of north carolina to give their athletic program a systemic advantage
11/4/2017 10:27:05 PM
Was apparently their social media team...which is why it looks like two kids at the helm. Much ado about nothing

J Sam: "We knew the refs would be on their side coming in"http://www.wralsportsfan.com/ncsu/video/17091870/
11/4/2017 10:31:28 PM
TA was in.Meyers caught that ball.
11/4/2017 11:13:11 PM
Didn't seem like the refs were against us but I did think the Meyers catch should have stood based on the replays they showed. Also they never did show much of a replay on the potential pass interference on JaySam at the end.
11/4/2017 11:35:57 PM
That was a catch. Somebody prove me wrong.
11/5/2017 12:22:40 AM
I didnt feel like the refs were against us that much. Usually you should get calls at home, and they didnt let us get away with any bullshit PI penalties which is kind of a bummer, but they were penalties. The shift was blatant and it just sucked that it had to be calledThe 3rd down catch was BS though. I dont know how that play is ever anything other than what was called on the field. Reminds me of being in South Bend last week and ND getting the benefit of the doubt on every call - we don't get that
11/5/2017 12:31:53 AM
^ That call on the shift in that situation doesn't get made against 'bama or OSU. Just more proof that there's two sets of rules in the NCAA: the rules for the bug teams (UNC, Bama, OSU) and the rules for everybody else
11/5/2017 12:34:31 AM
the center snapping the ball too early has been an ongoing issue
11/5/2017 12:39:55 AM
That late hit at the end that was overturned was pretty tough considering Chubb was called for some hands to the face of the QB after he was blocked in to him
11/5/2017 1:16:07 PM
That illegal procedure/shift was blatantly obvious. Would've been no excuse for the refs missing that one. I do think there are valid arguments for inconsistency on PI
11/5/2017 1:57:42 PM
Yeah that play was obviously a fucked up snap. The center had had two big screw ups in two consecutive games.
11/5/2017 2:15:22 PM
It should be not surprise we are not good enough to beat top ten teams. Our running game is not up to the task and we need more weapons and depth. We need to be able to run the ball at least at 200 yards.
11/5/2017 6:43:27 PM
A lotta that is solved with a healthy nyheim. But obviously we aren't as good as ND and Clemson. That's why they're top 5 teams. Not many teams can beat them. I feel pretty good about the direction of the program still.
11/5/2017 7:11:07 PM
^ agreed. The fire doren people can eat a bag of dicks.
11/5/2017 10:07:03 PM
^^^also...running the ball 200+ yards vs Clemson and ND is a tall order. those are two very very strong defenses. and we put up nearly 500 yards vs Clemson - little to complain about there offensively.
11/6/2017 6:45:58 AM
Yes. DD has is getting some very good recruits. I feel we are turning a corner. Now if we can just do something about that secondary. It's going to be a weak link for our defense as long as we have Hux because it has not gotten that much better since year one.
11/6/2017 11:00:37 PM
hux has gotta be gone if we donr shut shit down these last 3 games
