Nice win despite losing every ounce of momentum in the 2nd half, mostly due to BS penalties.

I've watched a lot of football, and I've never seen a "targeting" hit like that called. Ever. And the chop blocks? Maybe I missed something, but they didn't even seem close to chop blocks.

Our defense is still frustrating as hell, but the offense is impressing me -- especially Finley. Great accuracy, great poise, and great decision-making overall. He never really WOWS me, just keeps making solid plays when we need it.

Kelvin Harmon is going to be a stud. He's got a little AJ Green in him. Gotta love how our offense is setting up for the future.

so at least LSU fans earn the right to complain and be picky. our fans complain and don't even show up and create a nice atmosphere at the games unless we're on primetime and leading against a top 10 team. truly the worst fanbase.

Our fan base is hardly the worst. A lot of people are just jaded from decades of futility. We still support better than many teams and certainly better than UNC. UNC fans are only die hard for basketball.

I'm talking about support relative to expectations and reality. I know we have more support than a lot of places but if you look at those places, the fans don't expect championships.

This effort against ECU would have been a win. Although the penalties mainly sideline warnings again are alarming.

I thought we were gonna blow them out with the way it started but we lost all our offensive momentum. Glad we held on for the win. Defensive line was getting good pressure and had a few b.s. Roughing the passer calls. Hope we can keep up the pressure against the better teams.

We did lose a little offensive momentum in the 2nd half. Partly due to no rhythm with all the penalties. and I think Finley missed a couple passes (and had a couple drops) that would've kept drives going. We still pretty much dominated even when it was ugly at times. But yeah. We didn't real "hold on" to win. We just didn't keep the same pace throughout the game

if the university cared about empty student sections they would end pass outs, it wouldn't stop everyone from leaving but it would reduce it for sure

bruh, did you watch the game? we slowed the fuck down and went from a killer lead to up 10 with no momentum and plenty of time for them to steal it.

try paying attention to more than the scoreboard, "held on to the win" is only slightly exaggerating

Think falls into that same category as too many men on the field, where you can review if a player gets off the field in time. Added to the list of things that can be reviewed a few years ago.
