I signed up at Lifetime fitness on black Friday because they have gyms in both Raleigh and Maryland. Today I go to the one in Columbia, MD and find out that they require a higher priced membership than the one in Cary, and the jump in price is higher than the cost of what I'm currently paying for the strongman gym I'm currently signed up for here in Baltimore.The lifetime fitness up here does have 5 squat racks and bumper plates for each one, so the only thing I'd be giving up are atlas stones, sleds I never use, and a gym full of hardcore bodybuilders/powerlifters/strongmen.

Worked out again. Hit the trifecta thats 3 non missed consecutive workouts. Postponed atlanta one week so I got a chance to hit 7 if I stay dedicated to the game. Nursing a lower back injury so ive cut deadlifts and squats for now. Having trouble figuring out what to do for abs while those two exercises are on the shelf.

OK, this is one of my many diet/nutrition pet peeves. People who think they eat super healthy and they instagram shit like this- pseudo healthy fad food trends. Kelp noodles? GTFO. Almond cheese? Come on...Over-processed shit to make it pallatable. Just eat normal foods guys.

I love face's posts - they're hilarious and motivating (I too enjoy drinkin' n fuckin' while trying to maintain an acceptable physique). Killer workout today - 30 min spin + 30 min TRX + 30 min sandbag. Worked on TRX inverted push ups and rows... my arms are now jello. Also did rotational back lunges and cleans with the sandbag. I love sandbag workouts - they make me feel like such a badass

I don't compete, but I know a bunch of people who do. They don't get paid for winning local shows - I think they have to hold a pro card before they can compete for money. Local shows just award you with a trophy and offers from shady people in attendance to become a stripper/porn star.Everyone I know that competes does NPC, so some of the other smaller organizations may be different.[Edited on December 9, 2013 at 8:55 PM. So since i still havent purchased my own squat rack/bar like I plan...what, if anything, will most resemble a true squat to get my muscles and legs back up to terms with the squat routine.I have a smith machine at my disposal although apparently everyone hates them with a passion.I looked into Fitness connection instead of PF where I go now, but everyone says they try and rape you with charges.

Got a gym membership for the first time in my life on Monday. (before that when I did go to a gym, it was either at uni, or at residential compounds which had gyms)Eating a lot more than I was before Monday.Case in point: I was having a bowel movement just once every 4-5 days, but I have already had 3 in the past 3.5 days I have been twice, and I haven't seen a single person doing squats, deadlifts, or lunges. Or even legs at all, except for one guy doing leg extensions. Errrrybody workin' away on arms and chest I am doing free-weight squats every workout (3 times a week). And people look.

holy crap i woke up at 830 pm today and weighed myself at 164.6 lbs. So much for bulking i dont think i ate since Thursday ive been partying so much. ^^ LOL. Face is a trip.Did heavy back squats today and weighted pull-ups. 12-9-6-3 on the rep count on squats and 3 reps each time on the pull-ups. Got to 325 on the 3 rep squat and 70 lbs on the pull-ups. Probably should have gone higher on the final set of squats, but I went a little too high on the earlier sets and felt fatigued. I was happy with the 70 lb weighted pull-up as pull-ups are definitely not my strong area.

That was completely depleted and when I woke up at 8 pm.Im 169 right now. Average is probably like 180 so just imagine losing 10 lbs of fat from there. Im not big just toned and vascular. Girls always comment on the veins in my forearms and biceps which sets me up for good pickup lines like yeah thwy have to be strong to pump blood all the way to the tip of my dick. It sounds a little crass but the quicker you get girls minds on your wallet and dick the quicker they stop thinking about things like how you are 10 years older than them. If the girl seems conservative I go with a less crass response like yeah im very vascular. If I stand on the other side of the room you can actually see the veins in my dick. It still gers the convo headed in the right direction but its not as aggressive or intimidating to girls who get scared off by big dick jokes.
