Quote :
"Liverpool informed Suárez and Guardiola that any transfer would have to be agreed early in this transfer window to allow Rodgers time to spend the fee. "We made that clear early-on," confirmed Henry, who believes Suárez is misguided in his reasons for wishing to join Arsenal. He said: "Players usually want to win. They want to go, generally in any sport, where they can win. That's why I think this particular episode is misguided. We've won more trophies than Arsenal, but I really don't want to get into that.""

LOL, the Carling Cup >>>> Champions League every year apparently.

Fuck Henry and Fuck Liverpool. I hope they never get out of mid-table mediocrity.

** Even without Suarez, Arsenal will finish ahead of Liverpool since he won't be nearly the player he was for them last year considering he doesn't have any interest in staying.

If we're selling Rooney to an English club, we better get +20mP the market value. Tottenham made a killing selling Carrick and Berba for inflated prices just because they were selling to a fellow English club.

Arsenal-City friendly in an hour on being...

And btw, Arsenal has the thinnest squad I've ever seen. To even have any chance at fourth they better crash out of all cups early. They literally have 5 fit defenders. What the fuck?!?!

Caught the last 20 minutes or so of that match. Announcer was such an Arse homer. And yeah, they've got no depth. Losing just one of Wilshere, Giroud, or Mertesacker is going to give them some problems.

Just came to say Ramsey is finally coming good after his injury... Probably better than Jack at this minute..

^ A bit far fetched. Wilshere is still better, although Ramsey has that same potential and was showing it before the injury.

Also I hope we make it clear to Rooney that he can leave England or man up and run his contract out at United. If he keeps throwing a fit leave him on the bench. He will regret being a bitch after no one wants him because of lack of playing time at the age of 29. What a sorry cunt he is.

Asks to leave because United don't have enough 'ambition.'

Forward two years later and throws a fit because the new player is better.

Probably not but I would def. not sell him to anyone in England. He can leave the country, continue throwing a fit and not play, or he can shut up be a professional and run his contract out.

Running the contract out also won't happen, because they'd sooner sell him to Feyenoord for eight pounds than get nothing for him.

Zaha should just be a squad rotation player at this point.

He's definitely not ready to bank your season on at this point. You can tell he doesn't think the game well yet. Maybe with decent minutes he will own that wing in 2-3 seasons.

AOC is ahead of him and even he should be nothing but a squad player on a top four team.

I can see United finishing fourth this year (or fifth pending Arsenal actually spending money). With no Rooney they simply are getting older and haven't brought enough in.

^ hahahha

Fourth? Ok. The same team that won the league by 11 points last year will finish fourth this year. The delusion of that post is hilarious. Arsenal haven't spent and their squad is extremely thin. Getting Suarez alone won't make Arsenal a threat for the title. I love how everyone is assuming United won't challenge this year. I bet all the papers are disappointed at today's result, can't start printing about the demise of United until that first loss obviously. I love it.

Zaha is young, I would love to see him get minutes. Walcott wasn't exactly setting the league on fire at age 20. Took him till last year to really mature. Zaha is a bit of a different player and certainly has a lot to add. He will learn with experience, but his potential is immense.

NBCSN is promoting the Premier League by pushing the time difference and the fact that you still have the rest of the day after games are over, lolz.

Chances they get it together in time for next week?

If TWC doesn't add the extra time online stuff are there any pro tips to improve first row sports quality? Lots of times it's hard to even see the ball.

Yea I agree with you Laxman, although if I lived on the West Coast it would be nice to watch it on tape delay, especially the smaller games.

More importantly, I just realized I don't have access to NBC online. If I switch to Dish Network will I need to subscribe to NBC Sports Network to get access to extra live? Or can I just get the basic package and still get access?

You have to already get NBCSN to have access to the online content from what I've read this morning.

Speaking of the online stuff, if I have NBCSN already and the extra channels on TWC what good is the online anyway? Won't all the matches be televised through those TV channels?

If you're not at home, if you want to watch multiple games at the same time, if your wife gets annoyed that you monopolize the TV all day on Saturday, etc.

I wish the games were archived on the online service but I'm pretty sure it's just live. Also, I've been trying to find an answer as to if the MotD style show NBC is doing will be available on there but I haven't seen anything yet.

And yes, this is true. NBCSN is usually on one of the lower packages though, I think.

Damn that's what I figured. Going to have to decide pretty soon to upgrade then. Thanks guys. If only the cable companies didn't tie NBC's hands they could offer an a la carte netflix style option for their online stuff and I would happily pay up to $40 a month for that. I am sure a lot of people would love to have that option for around 20-30 a month, provided the games were live (unlike FSC).

Again, I thought he played pretty damn good near the end of last season.

West Ham should be awesome. Downing and Carroll?!? That's a lethal partnership.

You do realize that he actually was, right?

I'd link you to the quotes but that would blow up your tired joke you desperately cling to since you can't think of anything else.

Has panic set in yet, NyM? In Arsene we trust.

Not panicked. Would obviously like some signings though.

Cool story.

Quote :
"It’s true that Tottenham tempted me because it was a young team which was third in the league,’ Hazard told Tuesday’s France Football.
‘Unfortunately, the end of the season did not go well. They did not reach the Champions League, which tipped the balance."

You've got such a good track record of knowing everything about transfers, why hasn't Higuain signed yet? Weren't you touting him earlier ITT? Twitter let you down?

All I said was "what is with this hazard to spurs stuff"

The only mad people in this thread have gotta be arse fans. Wenger is fucking them. No depth and no upgrades while everyone around them is getting better. They're in danger of becoming Liverpool if they dont watch out.

Higuain quite clearly wanted Arsenal but Wenger's cheap ass didnt want to up the offer to Real and decided to foolishly chase a dead end (Suarez) instead. Not even close to the same thing. You're not really trying to argue Hazard to Spurs was as close and desired as Higuain to Arsenal from the player's perspective are you?

How do you function in society NyM because you dont read shit apparently. I'm comparing you and I right now.

I never touted Hazard like your gullible ass did Higuain. I mentioned the guy in one post. You ran on here posting numbers and quoting Marca (which is about the most foolish shit ever) like it was a done deal.

Big question is going to be who you jump ship to next when Arse doesnt make the CL this year, plastic fan.
