^^ yeah RW has been horrible so far. They should probably give Flynn a shot before they dig too deep of a hole.

4 TDs, 4 INT, 73.5 ratinghe's really tearing it up!
10/1/2012 9:07:10 PM
Agreed, he's just getting swallowed out there. Their receivers are pretty bad, but he's just not been able to make any plays and he looks a little too slow with his feet. The only thing he's doing right is not turning the ball over frequently.
10/1/2012 9:35:25 PM
what happened to your prediction from just over a month ago face?
10/1/2012 9:41:57 PM
Uh, I was right? Who doesn't know his name after last week?
10/1/2012 9:45:32 PM
you said "the world" not "american NFL fans"
10/1/2012 9:46:49 PM
Russel Wilson's jersey is the best seller in China.
10/1/2012 9:50:18 PM
You can't be this dumb in real life. That last post doesn't even make sense.
10/1/2012 9:50:24 PM
ok so "one of" = "one of the 500 most famous" ?RW isn't one of the 50 most famous players in the NFL in the world]

Sounds like Wilson is on notice. Better step up his game.

He learned that move from Jay Davis

TD WILSON!!!

Heard he mentioned State's victory in the post-game presser, has that been put online yet?

I can't stand the guy. No, not trolling. He turned his back on NC State by not committing to the team, and I honestly don't understand why you people still want to gobble his balls.
10/8/2012 12:02:48 AM
^ Shut the fuck up and don't read the thread if it bothers you. He's just as much a member of the Pack as any player who has moved on and he's fun as hell to watch. If you don't believe that, go watch the post game press conference from today and keep that shit to yourself. It's not like it hasn't been discussed a thousand times already.

I will not "shut the fuck up," boy.
10/8/2012 12:08:45 AM
Unrelated to the panties in a bunch, can we get a link to the post-game?
10/8/2012 12:14:27 AM
So why don't people hate on Terrell Manning for leaving early, or any basketball player we've ever had who left a year early? It's the exact goddamn same thing. It's not like he left to transfer to UNC or another school that we played last year. It was Wisconsin. It might as well have been the NFL.The dude graduated from State, lead us to our best season in years and still talks highly of us, as evidenced from the post game. If you don't like him then that's your decision, but why come shit all over the thread? Have you nothing else better to do?^ Anyway, the post game presser is on the Seahawks website. Just look for the Video Player.^^
10/8/2012 12:22:00 AM
because it's one thing to leave early and it's another to demand the coach bow down to you. i don't know why that's so hard for some people to understand.
10/8/2012 12:24:49 AM
and the fact that he left and went to play for ANOTHER COLLEGE TEAM. and I don't read sports talk that often. and a very small percentage of my posts have come over the past several years.
10/8/2012 12:27:21 AM
for real though, there is a big difference in going pro early like Mario did or CJL after this year, compared to playing for another schoolof course i'd be a lot more neutral about it if the motherfucker didn't beat the Panthers today
10/8/2012 12:29:53 AM
Made Superman his bitch today.
10/8/2012 12:31:12 AM
I guess the thing I don't get is regardless of the fact that YOU have already discussed it, I am still not convinced, am open to discussion, but all I get is a bunch of bro-ed up OMFG RUSSELL WILSON IS GOD NO QUESTIONS ASKED rhetoric.
10/8/2012 12:31:54 AM
he didn't beat the panthers today. the panthers beat the panthers. 3 straight turnovers and you only walk away with 7 points? you beat yourself, then
10/8/2012 12:32:15 AM
^User must not know about the "will factor".
10/8/2012 12:32:51 AM
It's really NOT different (transferring vs. leaving early). You can say whatever you want about the minor details that none of us really know but the bottom line is VERY simple: RW transferred to get a better shot at boosting his draft stock. It's a selfish decision just like leaving early is a selfish decision. And BOTH selfish decisions are completely justified. It's your decision to like him or dislike him, I can understand the frustration that we lost such a good player, but some of us still enjoy watching the most entertaining football player NCSU has had in years.[Edited on October 8, 2012 at 12:33 AM. 10/8/2012 12:43:50 AM
Where did you get all of that shit from? Dude realized he sucked at baseball, called up TOB, found out he might not start since he missed spring practices and decided transfer to a school where he would start and get a shitload more national recognition. Very selfish, but very justified. Because he did that, rather than going probably 9-4 in a shitty conference he went 11-3 in a powerhouse conference, won the conference championship, had a shot at winning the Rose Bowl, got drafted in the third round and is now starting in the NFL as a 5'11" QB. Pretty sure that would not have happened if he played his final year with us and I'm pretty sure he knew that too.I'm going to bed, the stupidity in here gives me a headache.*EDIT* And for the record I felt MUCH more slighted by Terrell Manning's early departure than RW transferring to Wisconsin. I didn't understand that move at all.[Edited on October 8, 2012 at 12:49 AM. Reason : .]

god I hate state fans sometimes.
10/8/2012 12:48:12 AM
10/8/2012 12:48:46 AM
^^I understand that many people don't agree that RW is the deviland sure I've probably overstated it somewhat in this thread, and I don't truly hate the guy, but I also don't understand the undying love for him either. It certainly rubbed me (and a lot of other state fans) the wrong way on how the whole situation went down. yet to discuss it is like speaking the name "Voldemort" out loud.
10/8/2012 12:58:10 AM
I like Russell. The only semi-classless/mishandled thing by him in his departure was he made one comment in one interview about not being given a fair shot at the starting job. Other than that comment, his leaving early for professional baseball and then eventual transfer is no different than anyone else who left early. He was on the team for 4 years, graduated, and then did what was best for his future. That's my recollection of events 2 years later.

Smath74, you said you hadn't seen this discussion but you were involved in the same exact discussion only one page back in this exact thread. All I was saying is that this is a really old discussion and some (most, really) still like Wilson or at least enjoy watching him play. Hopefully we don't keep hearing about how he fucked our program every week for the rest of his NFL career.
10/8/2012 8:03:50 AM
i think he still has his starting spot, at least
10/8/2012 8:07:12 AM
If anything Smath don't you think you should be mad at our coach for the way he callously dismissed our starting QB after he carried the team for three years and was directly responsible for earning TOB a ton of $$$ by keeping him in his job?We should admire Russells support for the wolfpack despite his horrible mistreatment here after achieving legendary status in only three seasons. Just to be clear. The man threw less ints his entire freshman season than glennon throws most games.
