i still don't trust green bay to even try to run the ball

Dynasty League w/ .5 PPR, got offered Ryan Mathews, Bernard Scott & Mike Tolbert for Ben Tate, Toby Gerhart & Randall CobbI've already got DMC & Shady at RB, so Mathews would be my flex. Should I counter & try to get more for from him? Also, 1 guy has both Arian Foster & AP on his squad, so could I get these 2 teams in a bidding war for the Tate/Gerhart comob?
9/3/2012 3:24:03 PM
Ok if you could pick between starting one of theses QB's which one would you pick.Eli Russell WillsonJay CutlerAndrew Luckand flex Meachem or Sproles?
9/3/2012 4:57:00 PM
Flex Sproles for sure. That's a tough qb question. Might as well go the safe route in week 1 with Eli.
9/3/2012 4:59:04 PM
^^^i'd probably take that offer. but i wouldn't hurt if you countered to try to get more. ^^Eli and SprolesMJD, Stevan Ridley, or Donald Brown? Obviously, MJD would be my normal starter but I'm not sure about him in week 1 after his holdout.[Edited on September 3, 2012 at 5:13 PM. Reason : a]
9/3/2012 5:08:40 PM
Bears defense will probably lock down the Colts, Patriots almost never run the ball.. I'd play MJD
9/3/2012 5:12:59 PM
Who do I go with at the flex and #2 wideout for week 1? Greg Jennings is my other starter..Pick 1Jordy Nelson v SFJulio Jones v KCPick 1For flex spot:Whoever isn't picked from aboveCed Benson v SFBGE v BaltimoreDoug Martin v Carolina
9/3/2012 5:27:41 PM
Play all 3 wrs I guess....Jennings would rank third on that WR list imo.You know what, fuck it. NelsonJonesMartin]

9/3/2012 5:35:51 PM
I've always liked 2 nice rbs in that spot. In a 10 team league like that you can pick up a nice qb, (Ryan?) later. Graham at 11 is too high, imo.
9/3/2012 5:39:24 PM
I agree about Graham, but looking at what RBs would be most likely available when I pick: Murray, Lynch, MJD, Forte, Charles, and Peterson; which two or even one would be worth a pick that high?I think I got to go Stafford with one of the picks, the second one seems very unclear.
9/3/2012 5:45:17 PM
i don't think Graham at 11 is too high...I think he's basically the best fantasy receiver in the NFL after Megatron
9/3/2012 6:01:22 PM
i think you can go stafford and graham if that's what you wanna do. and then you can still get RBs like frank gore, michael turner, darren sproles, jamaal charles, possibly fred jackson in later rounds. i don't think that's a bad strategy at all.[Edited on September 3, 2012 at 6:26 PM. Reason : d]
9/3/2012 6:26:10 PM
Graham is definitely worth a second round pick. Consider that Drew Brees targets his TE more than any other QB and their offense is definitely pass first. He is basically a slot WR so he will be on the field a lot. Dont let the position scare you.[Edited on September 3, 2012 at 6:51 PM. Reason : a]
9/3/2012 6:51:03 PM
Have third pick, assume Foster and Rice off the board first, Rodgers or Calvin? This is a PPR league, 1 point per reception??????????
9/3/2012 7:01:35 PM

9/3/2012 7:07:46 PM
McCoy

I GIVE Shonn GreeneI GET Isaac Redmanworth it? im not a Greene fan...or should i wait out another day
9/3/2012 7:25:21 PM
I'd say Rogers
9/3/2012 7:26:15 PM
My first standard league in a while. I'm guessing this devalues WR's a bit..but how much? I've got the first pick in a snake league. So I'm going Foster...but then don't know what I'm going to do for the 20th and 21st. I'm guessing it really depends on who's left. Hopefully there's a decent QB at that point.
9/3/2012 7:42:19 PM
There's a very good chance that Rivers, Eli, Romo, Ryan, and Schaub will all still be left, with the latter 3 probably hanging around until the 7th or 8th round in a ten team league. I would go ahead and plan on taking another RB and a WR (unless Graham or Gronk is still around).[Edited on September 3, 2012 at 8:27 PM. Reason : stupid patriots]

I had a guy draft reggie bush in the 5th round and call it a sleeper pick. I began to question his sanity. Also, in the same league, a dude drafted Deion Branch as a starting WR in the 7th round for his team.In other news, I grabbed DeMarco Murray in the 10th round, and Ryan Matthews in the 7th.These guys have no clue.

depends on who the Colts are playing, but I might roll with Donald Brown this week since we arent sure what Floyd will do for the Chargers. It would come down to those two for me thoughpick my 3 WRs this week (non-ppr):Julio Jones @ KCMike Wallace @ DenBrandon Marshall vs. IndyMiles Austin @ NYGits a toss-up between Austin and Wallace sitting out for me this week. I thought about Brown as well...but he's playing the Bears. I think they're pretty stout against the run and I've got a feeling that the Colts are just going to let Luck air it out all year.

I'm just now sure how much value Boldin has left and if Meachem is going to actually be the #1 WR on SD. Thoughts?

Just a reminder to all to disregard ESPN's projections. They predict touchdowns for individual players, which is impossible for anyone to forsee. Yahoo! and other sites use percentages to get more accurate predictions, i.e. .3 recieving touchdowns or .8 rushing touchdowns, instead of assigning touchdowns willy nilly.

I was simply saying that the drama boat for that subject sailed long ago, and to follow me around just to bring it up is sorta sad IMO. I'm not even sure what it accomplishes anymore. But whatever, carry on.

The Jets are going to be awful, Rashard Mendenhall is iffy at best to even play in the opener. Redman will be starting for at least the first half of the season.
