I've lived the life. I've lived in 3 of the major cities or areas for bbq. From E. NC, live in Piedmont, lived in Memphis. I know my shit. Step off.

It's my thread. As such, I hereby declare any fan of any style of barbecue served throughout this find land allowed to participate in this conversation, whether that style of barbecue hails from Texas, Memphis, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kansas City, California or elsewhere!

When synapse goes to Philadelphia, his favorite meal is a barbecue and cheese sandwich

at baseball games he always gets a tube barbecue with ketchup and relish

synapse doesn't get fast food often, but when he does its the double quarter pounder barbecue puck with fries and an orange soda from mcdonalds

Had some Pit goodness this weekend. Got the brisket and it was good as all! Sides are always a highlight there, and their cocktails are always on point.

[Edited on February 25, 2014 at 8:57 PM. Reason : I feel inspired to smoke some brisket now...might have to consult NRR]

probably

it's not that difficult. you can go from still too tough to perfect to too tender to slice to dried out very quickly.

Had Sam Jones in Raleigh today.

Q was very tasty, even without their vinegar sauce. Ribs were awesome with their sweet sauce. Was surprised their vinegarsauce has tomato in it. Guess it just be that way in Greenville.

Cornbread didnt taste like anything. Mac and cheese above average. Sweet slaw was awesome. Banana pudding was good but not worth $5.

I'll just get their $10 plate next time I go

its the brick and mortar for a multiple award winning BBQ team

they're connected to a gas station

also connected to this gas station is a good looking taco and torta shop

I always mean to stop there on my way to Wilmington and I keep forgetting to do it
