I am fairly annoyed to still be subjected to Leroy's radio ads attacking Willard for being pro-choice back in the day. Granted, I am listening to Rush Radio at the time, but nevermind that little detail.

ron paul is a genuinely funny guy. i wish he were my grandpa
1/31/2012 9:31:01 PM
Popular media reports according to popular interest because ad dollars. Dude who polls at ~12% with little to no change is not public interest, he's a niche market. The media doesn't care what he says unless there's some semi-objective measure by which he's actually causing a stir (saying things that should cause a stir but don't do not count). Profit-driven networks choose their stories using focus groups, opinion polls, and ratings feedback, they don't care what the candidate in question actually says as long as they're popular enough to warrant spinning a story out of it.Most networks had a laugh on air the first time Ron Paul won a poll on their website, now they don't bother because it's simply common knowledge he's the messiah of neckbearded basement dwellers to whom WoW taught the value of sound currency.[Edited on February 1, 2012 at 10:11 AM. trump to endorse newt according to politicohttp://www.politico.com/blogs/burns-haberman/2012/02/trump-to-endorse-newt-113227.htmlnewt/trump/cain- 3 peas in a pod obligatory obama/alinsky/ayershonestly at this point, i just hope the GOP picks anyone but him(gingrich). Out of the 3 that could potentially get the nomination, i'd go romney, santorum, gingrich.[Edited on February 1, 2012 at 10:44 PM. Reason : 8]

Santorum has even less of a chance than Paul. ...and rightly so--he would be 10x worse than Newt.
2/1/2012 10:59:30 PM
Newt and Santorum have no chance whatsoever.
2/1/2012 11:01:17 PM
Nobody does. This one is a done deal, barring some catastrophic Romney implosion (like, he turns out to be a Ponzi-scheming pedophile or something)....and then, I think it goes to Newt.Paul will continue to be an influence and continue to never, ever have any chance at the GOP nomination unless the other 3 all suddenly drop dead, and even then someone else would jump into the race late.Barring some hypothetical, silly scenario like that, Santorum will not even be a significant factor. Also, he's a huge douche.
2/1/2012 11:10:10 PM
I wouldn't count out Newt just yet.The sonofabitch is very clearly on his war-path, and he'll say/do anything to crawl back in to this. Likely, Santorum will froth out very soon and endorse Gingrich. Palin, Trump, and shit stains like Allen West will endorse Gingrich too. And with that much of the radical-right behind the Newtster, they'll try to frame this election as a culture war between the big bad food-stamp liberal vs. good honest Americans (wink, wink) and it'll be hard to shut him up.[Edited on February 1, 2012 at 11:23 PM. i can see conservatives rallying around santorum if gingrich suddenly tanks. a vast majority of conservatives would rally behind santorum rather than paul if a situation like that happened. i'm not saying it's likely but i'd say its more plausible than paul getting that 70% that doesn't want romneyin my order i'd have romney, paul, santorum, newt. but paul isn't actually a potential choice for the republican nomination(because he's a niche candidate)[Edited on February 1, 2012 at 11:16 PM. Tonight's debate should be the second to last one.
2/22/2012 3:36:22 PM
I'm waiting for Herman Cain to jump back in.
2/22/2012 3:38:45 PM
Obama's gotta be feeling pretty good about re-election right about now.
2/22/2012 4:07:40 PM
Not if gas prices keep going up and the right is able to keep lying to folks unchallenged.
2/22/2012 4:11:43 PM
doubtful. The sum of democrats + swing voters + moderate conservatives outnumbers the evangelical nutjobs that would vote for Mr. AssDrip.I guess Romney could make a comeback, but that's not looking likely.
2/22/2012 4:20:44 PM
But the prospect of drilling for oil in the skulls of baby seals under the delusion that it will lower US gas prices (world market, what?) is quite appealing to the right...
2/22/2012 4:31:56 PM
2/22/2012 5:09:19 PM
Not when Saudi Arabia has already said and shown they will lower their production to keep oil prices at a particular price range.
2/22/2012 5:16:43 PM
I'm kinda hoping for the Santorum to spread even further. The fact that he's even being discussed means that there's still a cancer thriving within the GOP that needs to be annihilated. I want him to make Walter Mondale look like a real contender. I said in '08 that we needed to kill the GOP in order to save it...that thrashing did spawn the Tea Party, but that didn't last long before it rolled over for the same old dipshits. It appears that more severe national embarrassment is in order.
2/22/2012 5:51:57 PM
Getting rid of birth control will reduce the number of children born out of wedlock - SantorumSeriously?
2/22/2012 8:50:01 PM
He's just using the same logic as Nancy Pelosi, Valerie Jarrett, and the White House who have said extending unemployment benefits would create jobs. Can't fault him there.
2/22/2012 8:52:50 PM
Uh...get rid of Planned Parenthood? That seems like a terrible idea.
2/22/2012 8:56:58 PM
You miss understood. He would have an absenence program instead, you know, because they work. Uncle Sam has the tendency to kill that 13 year old hard on.
2/22/2012 9:02:42 PM
Santorum seems to be getting destroyed (I'm only half watching the debate, but it seems like it)
2/22/2012 9:03:38 PM
This Buttlube/Willard show is getting tiresome. There are two other old white guys on stage!
2/22/2012 9:04:41 PM
Lol. Perry has the Bush face.
2/22/2012 9:07:49 PM
'Courage'....fail
2/22/2012 9:20:01 PM
So being up there with a mug like that with the beliefs he has with the expectation of being taken seriously isn't courageous?Bitch, you crazy.
2/22/2012 9:22:45 PM
Totally called Paul's answer for his one word: Consistent.
2/22/2012 9:24:56 PM
Republican party is taking a bye this election
2/22/2012 9:36:03 PM
Yeah, the only people who have to worry are our enemies and Osama bin laden and gaddafi. Foreign policy will not come up in the general election
2/22/2012 9:38:15 PM
Lol. Frothy Santorum. Lube and fecal matter.
2/22/2012 9:48:03 PM
I think Paul responded well to the viability concern.
2/22/2012 10:03:38 PM
Santorum at post-debate spin: "I have a history of winning tough elections, so I think I'm in good shape."Why isn't he a current Senator?Anyone want to google Santorum's last election results?Wait...I did it for you.

2/22/2012 11:23:14 PM
santorum is accusing romney and paul of making a little pact last night and coordinating attacks on him.suggests romney is considering paul for VP.
2/23/2012 7:44:50 AM
Hell, Paul sort of suggested Romney/Paul ticket.

so the superior intellects here managed to come up with the ol msnbc vs foxnews scenario again ey?nice.
2/23/2012 8:38:41 PM
Actually this is a case where both MSNBC and Fox were giving airtime and legitimacy to those spreading the same misinformation. Difference is that MSNBC points and laughs at an otherwise top-level conservative voices, whereas Fox finds patsies like Colmes to make sure its viewers only perceive a mewling caricature of the left.[Edited on February 24, 2012 at 3:24 PM.
