Moving Jackson would be great for salary implications, but if we do make a move I would bet G-force would be the one leaving
2/21/2011 5:22:00 PM
Shows you how worried Roy is about playing us tomorrow. He was just sitting front row at the Bobcats game tonight just having a good ole time.
2/23/2011 1:08:55 AM
G Force for Joel PryzbiliaFuck this team

between the panthers and the bobcats, charlotte is the pinnacle of sports mismanagement
2/23/2011 4:35:50 PM
Christ, what a shitty trade.I'm convinced that the Bobcats hate their fans and are determined to make us suffer.
2/23/2011 4:37:13 PM
You people who are surprised at this don't understand the business of the game.Unless you have a legit shot at a title, its always about the dollars.Always about the fucking dollars.
2/23/2011 4:39:13 PM
Yeah, moving the face of the franchise for Joel Pryzbilia is sure to cause a skyrocket in season ticket sales (and renewal
2/23/2011 4:42:34 PM
Gerald Wallace doesn't sell tickets either. This move (still a rumor, no confirmation yet) clears over 20 million in salary the next two years. Thats a big deal for a cash starved team.
2/23/2011 4:43:59 PM
Good night...sweet prince^a cash starved team that no big name free agents will ever want to play for]
2/23/2011 4:44:51 PM
The G.B.O.A.T.
2/23/2011 4:47:02 PM
I'd rather bottom out than consistently be too bad to contend and too good to get a high pick, which is where we've been for the past several years. Start from scratch.[Edited on February 23, 2011 at 4:49 PM. Reason : At least wait till the deal is confirmed before you cut your wrists]
2/23/2011 4:47:27 PM
I think the important question is what draft picks do we get? It's not like we had any shot at a title with G-Force. Why are you all crying? We will be lucky to be the 8 seed.
2/23/2011 4:49:13 PM
Maybe because he was likable as a player and one of the only reasons Bobcat's basketball was watchable to begin with What a bunch of goons and misfits we have assembled as a team. It's damn near laughable.[Edited on February 23, 2011 at 4:55 PM. Reason : /]

Look on the bright side
2/23/2011 5:01:14 PM
Story has been updated to remove the "comfirmed" line. You guys overreacted big time to a vague tweet that didn't even say it was confirmed.
2/23/2011 5:17:58 PM
SF is right about this move. Bobcats need to clear space, suck dick for a couple years, and start drafting some real talent.
2/23/2011 5:24:07 PM
WWe will turn it around, just look how great the wizards are
2/23/2011 5:30:58 PM
At least they have someone people would pay to see. With the Bobcats, you go to see the other team's players.
2/23/2011 5:32:12 PM
And we are both jokes of franchises, and MJ had a hand in both
2/23/2011 5:35:12 PM
At least we both got the gift that keeps on giving
2/23/2011 5:39:20 PM
quit making me laugh in this sad time for the Bobcats franchise
2/23/2011 5:41:10 PM
Speaking of jokes.......I'd love to get Ricky B's take on the whole situation.
2/23/2011 5:48:50 PM
the best was when everybody was cussing in his comments section of that one story
2/23/2011 5:51:30 PM
hahaha 2 of Charlotte's most wanted in the same motherfuckin' place at the same motherfuckin' time
2/23/2011 5:56:04 PM
Bonnell is such a tool
2/23/2011 5:58:26 PM
2/23/2011 7:30:39 PM
If there was some way to get Batum and Pryzbilla (sp?) for Wallace that would be an absolute steal for us. We'd get an up and coming player who conceivably could be everything that Wallace is for much cheaper (Batum) and get a salary break with Pryzbilla's expiring contract and also dumping Wallace's $10 mil
2/23/2011 8:27:18 PM
2/23/2011 9:00:11 PM
anybody think Jordan floated that rumor to get fan response?
2/23/2011 11:27:25 PM
god dammit
2/24/2011 3:26:30 PM
Can't complain about two first roundersAlso, gotta love this headlinehttp://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/211418/Thunder_Acquire_Mohammed_For_White_Peterson
2/24/2011 3:30:52 PM
FUCK.It was a good run G-Force. You were a fan favorite and by the far the best Bobcat we've had in the franchise's short time.Hopefully at least one of these will be a lottery pick.EDIT:The Thunder also made a trade sending Morris Peterson to Charlotte, but it was unclear if that was part of a three-way deal between the Thunder, Celtics and Bobcats.[Edited on February 24, 2011 at 3:34 PM. Reason : .]
2/24/2011 3:32:01 PM
Don't know why you guys we're so attached to Wallace. He was the best player on a bad team, but he wasn't going to be a difference maker, and thats all that matters. 2014 can't get here fast enough.
2/24/2011 3:36:37 PM
He was the best player on OUR bad team and had been since we got him in 2004
2/24/2011 3:42:43 PM
Sorry I'm not eight years old and don't get emotionally attached to players. Have fun mourning your "star" player's exodus while I move on.
2/24/2011 3:44:12 PM
we ship off our best player in the young franchise's history and thats all you got? when the Panthers trade Steve Smith are you gonna be like "fuck him, good riddance"?
2/24/2011 3:51:01 PM
I didn't see you crying when Peppers left. Point is, we root for laundry. Players come and go. Unless they're really special, they come and go without much fanfare. Wallace is not really special. It'll be weird to see him on another team, but we weren't winning a title with Gerald Wallace as our best player, so it makes sense to get something for him while we can.
2/24/2011 3:55:40 PM
i dunno for me its just another reason not to give a shit about this shitty franchise, since they're never gonna win shit and the NBA is a fixed sportbut with Wallace leaving, its kinda like how I finally severed ties with the Hornets once they got rid of the last Charlotte core guys, like Baron and Mash and PJ and Elden
2/24/2011 4:15:39 PM
Go head and jump ship. I won't try to stop you. But I'm in it for the long haul.
2/24/2011 4:18:41 PM
it still amazes me how a dick of an owner can sour a fanbase towards the team (and future teams). People loved the Hornets, but have largely only greeted the Bobcats with little more than apathy.
2/24/2011 4:19:34 PM
Its a generational thing. It will take people our age having kids brought up as Bobcat fans to really create and established following. Now, its just the die hards and the transplants.
2/24/2011 4:21:29 PM
i bet silas is pissed about the whole thinghe had said, with pleasure, that no trades would be made by the bobcats todayid trade wallace for a name change though[Edited on February 24, 2011 at 4:24 PM. Reason : ]
2/24/2011 4:23:22 PM
Bonnell is so lazy. Oberver story links to SBNation, doesn't even have its own story.
2/24/2011 4:26:25 PM
he's busy going over a list of pros and cons while contemplating whether to re-grow his stache
2/24/2011 4:29:39 PM
i admit that i do not know the ins and out of the bobcats franchise...but i do know that GWallace is a franchise player that the city identifies with (like, the only bobcat pretty much). if this is true, god help the future of the Bobcats organization.
