It was a good series. I'm sure they might have been able to form a more coherent storyline that didn't jump around as much, but given the difficulty of crafting a story with the materials they had, it was a noble attempt. I think I'll sit down and watch it once all the way through before passing final judgment.I agree with others: I really liked how they showed the wearing down of Leckie and Sledge as the years passed by.

After the joke Leckey made at the dinner table about going to war for television, I started thinking about how right he was. Ironically, TV probably played the largest part in turning us into the lazy fuckers that consider them the last great generation. I'm not complaining, just sayin'.

I liked the ending where it showed the actor and then the picture of the actual person, and told what they did with their life and when they died

Dunno bout you guys, but I feel as though Snafu and Sledge were my favorites in the series, don't get me wrong, I loved Leckie and crew too.
