11/7/2008 3:50:40 PM
wow, you can save $1.80 on a pos from nbc, sign me up
11/7/2008 3:53:28 PM
$12 for a coffee mug is fucking ridiculous
11/7/2008 3:55:52 PM
^^ uhh.... what? why did you feel the need to post that? It's a mug ("a POS"?), and several people here already expressed interest in buying one. what the hell is it to you....^ you apparently don't realize this is more valued to some people as The Office Merchandise, not as a regular coffee mug[Edited on November 7, 2008 at 3:58 PM. Stanley's is fucking hilarious

11/7/2008 7:16:57 PM
I don't know which one I would get since there isn't a Jim one.
11/7/2008 8:15:07 PM
stanley
11/7/2008 9:05:15 PM
^^^ i know what POS means. i was just wondering how exactly you could judge from a picture online that a particular ceramic mug is a POS....
11/7/2008 9:08:38 PM
i wasn't saying it's pos because it's of poor quality. i'm sure they're well-made coffee mugs. it's more like a pos that nbc inserted into the episode just so they could hock more merchandise. but where there's demand, someone will supply, and i'm sure they'll sell a ton of these.
11/7/2008 9:35:01 PM
That scene was hilarious. Just because they sell them now doesn't mean you have to label it as product placement.
11/7/2008 11:53:42 PM
^^ OMG companies want to make money!! I AM OUTRAGEDOMG People want merchandise from a show they like and NBC is providing it for them!!!! WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO?!?!?

Great episode, just watched it on Hulu... the whole Dwight/Jim roleplaying sales call was hilarious. As was the following crusade against the customer servey conspiracy. Also, that mini-bluetooth is a great way to include Pam in every episode.[Edited on November 8, 2008 at 5:03 PM. Reason : .]

no way does the mini bluetooth show up in another episode

haha, Dwight as a "more paranoid JFK"http://www.lifeintheoffice.com/2008/11/10/customer-survey-deleted-scene-3/

from the writer of the latest episode - he addresses (i mean, dodges) my two biggest continuity questions (hint: they don't care)
11/12/2008 1:39:44 PM
11/12/2008 1:51:56 PM
Yeah, the only valid question is the second one. I thought it was a summer course, so she should have been done like 3 months ago, but that doesn't fit into the 'create tension in the Jim/Pam relationship' thing that they are going for this season.
11/12/2008 2:01:06 PM
This is unimportant news but:
11/13/2008 12:47:27 PM
agreed.
11/13/2008 12:56:56 PM
ryan has a good role on the show. But he hasn't played a large role in the funnyness(yep, i said that) this season, so i don't think losing him will be that big of a deal
11/13/2008 2:07:54 PM
i've been saying all the way back since S1 that he does not deserve to be a Title Character. Especially now, he should be removed from the titles, and maybe even replaced by Andy. I think they all figured out early on that Novak's main talent was in writing, not acting. Not to say he's a bad actor - he's fine. but his character just isn't all that interesting.
11/13/2008 2:22:11 PM
He's a title character simply for the fact he's a producer, I thought that was obvious
11/13/2008 3:50:50 PM
they should bring back toby to replace holly in HR
11/13/2008 4:01:02 PM
actually thought they bailed on Ryan and NY a bit quick. That story line was actually bringing some funny especially when he went to visit Scranton. Show goes on fine without him, although losing him as a writer would stink. I'm not sure what he has exactly written as far as episodes, but its been funny so far so he had to have some hand in it.
11/13/2008 6:36:52 PM
Andy/Oscar interactions were great. The Pam/Jim stuff is a lil too damn serious for me right now. I'm sure all the girls were melting about that shit, but id rather funny.

tonight's episode was pretty m'ehnot many lol's and half the office was basically MIA
11/13/2008 9:54:51 PM
best part was Darryl's "I'M FINALLY FREE OF HER" walk
11/13/2008 10:56:53 PM
I was hoping for Andy to get drunk and hookup with Oscar, thus solving the Andy-Angela-Dwight debacle.
11/14/2008 12:13:23 AM
Yeah, Andy got the gay.
11/14/2008 8:19:56 AM
Welcome back; I need 5 copies...
11/14/2008 9:32:54 AM
I liked all the graphic design references
11/14/2008 10:48:44 AM
^ my wife was loling because that's exactly what she doesgraphic design, creating logos and marketing ads using photoshop and probably some other programs I should know
11/14/2008 11:34:17 AM
I just liked it, because, as a designer, that's all anyone thinks you do is create logos or "work on computers"
11/14/2008 11:42:53 AM
That is all you do.
11/14/2008 12:14:12 PM
^^, ^^^ exactlyI had a hard time explaining that to a friend because I was LOLing at all of it and she had no idea on any of the programs.
11/14/2008 2:07:35 PM
Glad the episode brought the funny for all the graphic designers out there, to bad for the rest of us 99.999% of the pop...
11/14/2008 2:28:38 PM
I don't know, I thought it was a pretty funny episode. My two favorite lines:"A concierge is the Canadian equivalent of... a geisha""She put us back at first base.""What exactly is first base with Angela?""I get to kiss her forehead."
11/14/2008 6:22:44 PM
"that's french for goodbye, my petite fiance."
