i thought it was awesome.

yep I thoroughly enjoyed the last few episodes
5/12/2009 11:25:02 AM
the camera work has been different the last few episodes, in a good way. the story line is better too. i don't know if they got rid of some people but it's working.
5/12/2009 11:36:29 AM
there was a definite filter over his scene to give it the bleak look versus the vibrance of their scene.
5/12/2009 11:54:02 AM
not just that, but better/more creative angles and stuff. i don't know. i'm not a cinematographer.
5/12/2009 12:26:31 PM
holy shit. totally didn't expect that.
5/13/2009 12:15:12 AM
I'm surprised he admitted that something was wrongIs he going in for the vicodine addiction or b/c he thinks he's a schizo?
5/13/2009 8:42:01 AM
he was still on it, so it's probably him taking too much like they though. he just hallucinated the detox part, now he has to do it for real.
5/13/2009 9:27:17 AM
kinda surprised the team didn't say anything when they saw him spinning the bottle around over his fingers after saying that he was clean...
5/13/2009 10:38:25 AM
I can't really figure out how much of the whole day was actually a hallucination or not...maybe he never told anyone he was clean...
5/13/2009 10:50:10 AM
Wasn't it just Wilson that he told he was clean? I need to watch it again.
5/13/2009 10:57:30 AM
They only showed him tell wilson, so unless wilson saw him twittling the bottle, which they never showed him, then no one would find his behavior odd.
5/13/2009 10:59:29 AM
i thought he came in and talked to the team saying he was in a good mood and he was clean.i thought it was a little ridiculous that he was able to detox in a day though

^^I think you're right, but I'm questioning whether or not that really even happened. At one point Cutty explains to House that she is the boss, he is the employee etc...if they never slept together why would she say that? And if she wouldn't than wouldn't that have been a hallucination? Then at the end after he announces to the hospital that he slept with her and she fires him she yells at him about talking about his sexual exploits with her. If they never slept with each other, wouldn't she have also said something along the lines of, "beside the fact that it never even happened..."?[Edited on May 13, 2009 at 11:03 AM. Reason : ^^]

Why say what she believes he already knows. If they never slept together, then he lied. I'm sure she told others that it never happened, but of all people he already knew. As such, it is not a stretch that she would neglect to mention it while streaming tears, firing him, and wishing above all else that the conversation be short. As for the conversation in the office, he said he needed her and she passed, therefore she should go take care of the bastard child, that ended it. After such an encounter it is reasonable to rehash the ground rules that they have no relationship beyond employer/employee and therefore she will always pass on such demands of her time. Now, just to play lawyer, in the event that any of this seems unlikely, just accept that a wizard did it (halucination).[Edited on May 13, 2009 at 12:22 PM. Reason : .,.]
5/13/2009 12:21:50 PM
maybe she said that she was the boss and he was the employee because she was upset from his comment about the baby.she seemed adamant that she not get upset at anything he said or did after that comment.
5/13/2009 12:30:24 PM
^^He never said 'I need you' or anything in real life, my take was that the hallucination began after she said 'you're an ass' and walked right out the dooras for the 'boss/employee' talk that was in regards to the comments he made about her 'bastard child', as in he hurt her for the last time and she was going to coldy treat him in that manner, nothing personal ever againas for the 'i slept with my boss' declaration she probably thought it was just the next step in him messing with her, as it's not terribly implausibleThe fact that he was lying by saying is just confirmed by her trying to fire him immediately, the conversation would have been more complicated if it were true, especially when he said 'let's move in together.' She wouldn't have laughed so sarcastically if they had really had that one nighter after he suggested they move in.He really did tell Wilson and Wilson was very intentionally never in any of the scenes when House was playing with the lipstick/pills. He did mention lipstick to Wilson talking about the coffee cup at one point, but never produced it.[Edited on May 13, 2009 at 12:41 PM. Reason : ]

If he was hallucinating about the lipstick all day long is it not conceivable to believe that his conversations with Cuddy and Wilson could have been hallucinations as well?I understand what you guys are saying about the employee/boss relationship and firing him, but I still have a couple question/concerns about that:1) Cuddy explicitly says something along the lines of, "Your sexual exploits with me", which, if it weren't a hallucination, are completely nonexistent. It doesn't seem likely that she would use the words she used.2) Wilson advising House to REALLY make Cuddy mad does not fit Wilson's character at all.3) Would Wilson truly believe that House was over the addiction in one night? I wasn't too convinced of that reality, and I'm not a doctor.4) When House walks in on Cuddy and Wilson talking Cuddy had just said to Wilson that she thought he was in there to ask about "..." ... obviously we don't know for sure where this was going and it could have been anything, but it was was fairly obviously going to be about House. And the argument that she thought he was going to talk about House's mean remark to her doesn't make a whole lot of sense b/c he's mean to her all the time. Why would he go in there to talk to her about one single remark?
5/13/2009 1:39:58 PM
Maybe I misinterpreted the Kutner scene, but did House imagine his suicide?(bracing for flamage)
5/13/2009 1:41:51 PM
no, he's just another hallucination like cut throat bitch is.
5/13/2009 1:55:09 PM
ah, i thought he was still alive, i was all, daaaaaaammmnnn...
5/13/2009 2:35:56 PM
i went back and watched everything from kutner killing himself through the last scene... not just because this is my favoritest show ever, but the twist didnt sit right. i mean i was like holy shit like everyone else... but it seemed forced.

I've been rewatching House, and I remember people being all up in arms about them killing off Kutner and saying it was completely out of the blue. Nah, they foreshadowed the hell out of it in the entire season leading up to it.
6/5/2019 2:48:48 PM
But they didn't really kill him off, he wanted to leave, right?
6/5/2019 4:22:30 PM
he wanted to leave, so they killed him off. but people acted like it was completely out of the left field and blindsided the writers. that was clearly not the case.]
6/5/2019 4:38:08 PM
in retrospect, kinda sorta maybe
