I think it's very presumptuous to assume Missouri (11), Colorado (8), Ohio (21), and maybe the Dakotas (6) are gimmes for McCain. Very.In fact, one could argue that Virginia (13) and Louisiana (9) are in play. That map is one hell of a reach. You may be right and you have I'd warrant an equals chance of being completely off.

heh obamas camp just threw rev. wright under the bus and train and then flushed him down the toilet. lolobama's camp just basically made a statement telling wright to STFU and leave. lol. i wonder what wright will do now. lol @ all this.

HAHAHAA liberals, what now? Now your guy has the same problem with Wright that the rest of us "racist white republicans" had with him... his mouth.
4/29/2008 2:19:13 PM
^ggthat seems really short. i just remember one of them saying that obama agrees with nothing the rev. wright is sayinglol @ you people(left wing nuts) loving obama and wright at the same time
4/29/2008 2:19:36 PM
I am loving this. Incredible.
4/29/2008 2:22:13 PM
Interesting. I am impressed by the linguistic critique of Wright's speech. He did make many mistakes. As noted earlier, his suggesting an essential difference between races is most troubling. Still, I don't really understand this reaction from the Obama camp. Wright had plenty of good points along with the errors. Perhaps Obama's advisers simply told him enough was enough. Wright does seem to be hurting Obama politically.
4/29/2008 2:22:57 PM
great. now that the repubs and democrats are dividedand the democrats themselves are divided into 2 groups.now it's gonna be black vs. black democrats dividing soonthis is just shredding obamas campaign to pieces. unbelievable
4/29/2008 2:23:14 PM
He's done. The DNC can no more allow Obama to be their candidate than they would to willfully concede the election. They will get Hillary in, one way or another. And this move will be viewed as tragically racist by the establishment black population as well as the 50% of the democratic populous that voted for Obama. This will result in record low turnout for the Democrats in November.I cannot believe that John McCain has so easily won this election.
4/29/2008 2:25:17 PM

4/29/2008 2:26:53 PM
just keep believing that.
4/29/2008 2:27:03 PM
Oh, not a doubt about it. The DNC is probably gonna go into lockdown mode soon and get either a new candidate and drop these 2 or vote Hillary. It's over. Even NC obamas last big states governor has endorsed Hillary. Unfrickingbelievable.
4/29/2008 2:27:09 PM
McCain ain't in charge yet.Don't be so presumptuous.

4/29/2008 2:28:58 PM
We still have a while before the election. It's far too early to call things either way.
4/29/2008 2:30:34 PM
and a 14 pt lead (i was actually wrong about 12) equates obama losing the nomination now?
4/29/2008 2:30:36 PM
I predict a virtual Clinton and Obama tie. Then the DNC will opt for a new candidate as they are able to do and have been talking about for some time now.
4/29/2008 2:30:56 PM
okay. too bad that will never happen. it's not 1950 anymore

This news of Obama saying his ex-pastor made him angry with some of his remarks is making some of you anti-Obama kids too happy. It really isn't a big deal, it just allowed Obama to distance himself even further from someone who he didn't have all that much to do with in the first place. Now all the people who let rev wright scare them (lol) can see that Obama is even more distanced now than before, and this will probably end up helping him out in the election.Look at how excited some of you got! lol - this rev wright controversy is just politics for idiots[Edited on April 29, 2008 at 2:34 PM. constant misrepresentations of wright forced obama's hand. i am upset at obama for doing this. but unfortunately it will probably help him in the long run. people were itching for him to throw his pastor under the bus. i'm still waiting for the transcript of obama's remarks today. i don't have access to video right now.
4/29/2008 2:38:53 PM
^x5 That's just about the most naive take on this I can imagine. Keep telling yourself that bullshit if it helps you sleep at night. Obama did this because he knows Reverend Wrong can and is sinking him. Believe it. PS: Your "(lol)" seems nervous and weak. ^^^ Now sorryjewels wants to debate the meaning of "jihad." Changing the subject? So soon? [Edited on April 29, 2008 at 2:41 PM. Reason : .]

don't worry. i've gotten back to the topic at hand (and without calling anyone names!)
4/29/2008 2:43:15 PM
yeh this is going to finish obama. let hillary take a few shots at this and you've got DNC all out civil war.UNITY CHANGE PROSPERITY

believe that if it will make you sleep better at night. i don't buy it.
4/29/2008 2:46:34 PM
Finish Obama? How so? It seems to be a blow, but I doubt it'll end the contest. We'll see soon.
4/29/2008 2:46:40 PM
You guys are so damn catty. You think this changes the course of the election? Hellz no.I think it's great that he did this b/c Wright was out of control. Why do you think him throwing him over the bus at this point all of a sudden makes this a problem with the DNC exactly? Calm down, holy shit you guys are positively giddy at any thing you think has Obama's train flying off the tracks. That ain't happening here thats for sure. Also, for the record Easley is a freaking moron and had been silently supporting Hillary anyway. He's done effectively nothing for NC since he's been in office and is on his way out. Not suprising the two running for gov now (Perdue and Moore) both endorse Obama.Barack picked up two SD endorsements and 2 yesterday and has narrowed the gap by only 19 right now. Expalin to me how this changes anything?
4/29/2008 2:51:22 PM

4/29/2008 2:55:14 PM
RCP Average 04/26 - 04/28 -- 50.3 40.0 Obama +10.3only a 10 point spread here, and wright hasn't had a chance to respond.
