^^^^ when they showed Nathan's hand bleeding, I was fully expecting for it to heal like Claire would

I didn't even think that he could control mindsperhaps he controlled someone to push off sulu?

i think the flying kid is bad for some reason. maybe he attacked whatsherface petrelli and the hiro's dad. the build of the guy looks abt right and he could fly in and out of there fast...plus he hates claire's dad so he's possibly seen/met all the other ppl in that picture and is just taking them out. i dunno.i just get the feeling he's bad.
10/16/2007 9:28:08 AM
if he's not bad, he needs to die asap
10/16/2007 9:35:18 AM
I have no idea what's going on with Nathan's face in the mirror
10/16/2007 10:07:59 AM
i figured it had something to do w/ the big explosion thing caused by peter and his face melted or something (like w/ that big ol scar on peter's face in that one episode 5 years in the future). my guess is that once they stop whatever it is they've got to stop, he'll stop seeing his face like that.
10/16/2007 10:09:31 AM
it's just a bad memory, he thinks peter is dead, so he keeps remembering how he looked right after the bomb...i don't know why everyone is holding on to his mirror image so muchand yeah, flying boy will definitely use claire against her father once he finds out who he is...no doubt about itand i'm confused...is there a new painter? Or were those all painted by issac before the end of season 1?
10/16/2007 11:39:51 AM
all painted by him before his deathand don't forget about his sketch book...i'm waiting for that to come back into play. i bet there's some interesting things in there.
10/16/2007 11:50:29 AM
the image in the mirror has to have some significance. How was he able to survive the explosion? or even the horrible burns on his face.
10/16/2007 1:01:47 PM
total agreement on fly boy. At first I just hated his lines. Now I hate his face. I hope he turns out to be evil and gets knocked off. Better yet, despite my dislike at keeping Sylar in the story, it would be worth it to see him eating fly boy's brains.
10/16/2007 2:42:57 PM
the graphic novel this week was crap.
10/16/2007 2:49:47 PM
^^ yes, hopefully that kid gets knocked off, hes just getting on my nerves now.was he the one in the painting of claire's dad getting shot? i saw claire in the background with a shadowy figure, and claire's dad seemed to think she was with a boy based off that painting.[Edited on October 16, 2007 at 2:59 PM. Speaking of Sylar, did anybody else notice the ticking noises when Sylar was contemplating the Mexican brother and sister? Are Sylar's abilities or at least his core ability returning? I have no idea how Sylar ended up on that road in Mexico, but it seems like somebody is playing him like a chess piece. Or, at a stretch, he was on that Mexican road the whole time and when Candace died the illusion of wilderness disappeared and then Sylar fainted and her body vanished, and... nevermind.
10/16/2007 3:04:28 PM
Yea, I'm pretty sure Candace is still alive.Didn't she "die" once already?
10/16/2007 3:12:44 PM
I think Sylar was just walking out of the jungle that he was in and he collapsed there. Candace didn't necessarily die in season 1, she was just hit really hard by Jessica. but I think she's dead for good now
10/16/2007 3:25:38 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong but both Sylar and Peter have Isaac's ability, right? In season one, Peter drew the picture of the town in flames and Sylar "painted" the picture of the bomb's explosion in his mother's(?) blood.
10/16/2007 3:36:31 PM
you are correct.
10/16/2007 3:43:03 PM
^^ yeah the difference is in how they acquire the power. peter absorbs it while sylar sees how the brain works and somehow gets the power by eating the brain...someone may need to explain that to me too. but in essence they both have the same core power.so can peter teleport/time travel? he technically met Hiro at the very end of last season...
10/16/2007 4:02:15 PM
^Ya, I get that. I'm just wondering if the writers will forget things like that in mapping out the plot this season; two powerful characters have access to prophecy. It seems like that would be quite important. I find it kind of interesting that Peter can't really have chance encounters with other heroes without gaining new abilities. Heh, it's probably why it's easier to stick him in Ireland.
10/16/2007 4:13:13 PM
yeah, Peter can do what Hiro does. He just doesn't know how to control the powers he obtains as well as Sylar does because Sylar's original power is figuring out how things work.. so naturally he can learn to use the powers a lot quicker and probably more efficiently.^ I thought the preview for next week showed Peter painting in that trance like state[Edited on October 16, 2007 at 4:15 PM. 10/16/2007 4:14:42 PM
::shrug::missed it, and I'm one of those people that doesn't want to know anything about the coming the story
10/16/2007 4:17:30 PM
it did, unless that's later on and they're just trying to tease us with a bunch of cool scenes. maybe peter teleported to ireland after the explosion? i wanna know where he got that electricity power though
10/16/2007 4:23:51 PM
yeah i was wondering if that was part of sprague's powers. like when he sent out that EMP. i don't know
10/16/2007 4:35:02 PM
^^He got it from the Irish chick, as insinuated by the graphic novel. She just hasn't used it in the show yet.
10/16/2007 4:39:23 PM
but she wasn't in the cargo thing when peter first used the electric power thing.
10/16/2007 4:46:50 PM
I'm thinking that Sylar no longer has his previously acquired abilities nor will he regain them by any means short of eating brains again. The near death sword stabbing / blood loss had something to do with it, since during season finale we saw the images flashing through his eyes. Or it could be a virus variant. In any case, Peter is currently the only one who can paint prophetic pictures.
10/16/2007 4:47:51 PM
chuffa chuffa the graphic novel was horrid
10/16/2007 7:06:03 PM
10/16/2007 9:00:35 PM
show is getting boring
10/16/2007 9:02:03 PM
i think the broken "sylar" symbolised the broken "sylar"
10/16/2007 9:40:09 PM
that was my point.
10/16/2007 10:33:10 PM
show is still good. new characters aren't that bad. flyboy is way better then the south american bro and sis. and micah's cousin could come in handy later in the season.

I'm pretty sure there was some electricity in the cargo container, because they made a big deal about a blow electrical junction or something like that in one of the episodes. If Peter got his powers from the chick, then the chick must have been around somewhere, or it was an oversight on the director's part, or it's not the chick at all, or there's something else going on with the whole Ireland crew. Also, it kind of sucks that Claire's dad is probably going to die.
10/17/2007 2:35:16 AM
im not sure what yall are talking about as far as the electric thingi always assumed its the radiation power he was using, especially in the cargoalso im not sure clair's dad dies, it could just be that he gets beat up
10/17/2007 2:43:52 AM
he looks pretty dead in the painting
10/17/2007 3:42:02 AM
yeah but as i already said, isaac's paintings are not finite, as evidenced by the city never blowing up. i think he'll live
10/17/2007 6:42:18 AM
MAYBE he has a powerrrrrr
10/17/2007 6:54:31 AM
It looks like Claire is kissing someone in the paintingAlso, it never really explained what the deal is with Sylar and roaches. I think the finale last season when we all though Sylar was dead it showed where he fell down and a roach was crawling away. On this week's episode when he killed Derek at the phone, it showed a roach crawling around next to the dead body. And I just had a random thought... if Parkman's dad does have the ability to control people's minds, perhaps he had some kind of influence over Sylar and his actions. Maybe he put the notions in his head about being evil in the first place. Probably a longshot but I'm still trying to figure out why Sylar is still around if we obviously have a new, more powerful villain.[Edited on October 17, 2007 at 9:22 AM. Reason : ]
10/17/2007 9:14:28 AM
because sylar is the best character in the show. they would be idiots to kill him off[Edited on October 17, 2007 at 9:21 AM. Reason : a]
10/17/2007 9:21:30 AM
^Well yeah I will agree with you on that one, he is a fucking badass. I'm glad that they introduced a villain that has absolutely no moral second thoughts and does things solely for himself.
10/17/2007 9:28:50 AM
what are those black circles in sky above mr. bennett in the picture of his death?
10/17/2007 9:37:11 AM
I'm assuming bullet holes since he has (what appears to be) a bullet hole in his glasses.
10/17/2007 9:38:44 AM
So exactly how did Sylar end up on a random dirt road in Mexico?
