4/29/2006 1:12:02 PM
admit ithow many of you were like wtf with Jambiand now are like, BEST SHIT EVER
4/29/2006 1:18:25 PM
^I'll admit it.Jambi is my favorite song off the CD now. After listening a few times, I think the first half of the CD (up to "the pot") is the best part. The rest of the CD is kinda meh.
4/29/2006 1:25:48 PM
jambi was my intial favorite song off the cd
4/29/2006 1:30:30 PM
jambi was my favorite but 10,000 days is taking over the top stop10,000 days is such a trip that builds all throughout the songthe pot is also up there too
4/29/2006 4:54:01 PM
Yeah this album is awesome. It's got the usual filler that I've never cared for, but other than that, I love it.
4/29/2006 6:20:38 PM
Haha, listen to "Intention" at 5:55 in reverse.LOL
4/29/2006 7:46:08 PM
http://www4.ncsu.edu/~ktcosent/tool_intension_backwards.mp3check that out"work hard, stay in school, listen to you mother....and you father"or something like that[Edited on April 29, 2006 at 8:25 PM. Reason : .]
4/29/2006 8:17:14 PM
the first five songs on this album are OK, and then it gets pretty boring. Opiate had more actual songs on it; this is just a bunch of filler material.
4/29/2006 8:20:46 PM
I am loving vicarious
5/1/2006 9:20:51 PM

5/3/2006 12:47:26 AM
haha... when i first tried it all i saw were two seperate pics. then i stopped trying and it worked. fucking badass artwork. i love the band member photos... the wardrobe, the background, the settings.definitely worth the price of admission
5/3/2006 1:08:23 AM
i think mine may be fucked up cause the book is glued in there on a slant, i get some 3-d going but it doesn't quite come into one pic. don't know for sure but i think it might be because the pics aren't aligned. anyone else got this issue, or have a slanted book and see it fine?
5/3/2006 1:20:33 AM
GOD DAMN SHIT THE BED
5/4/2006 3:35:45 AM
something weird ive noted is that i think the cd could have been recorded differently. Its good quality of course but it sounds like it was recorded by some guy who runs through a million big name artists a year and its just his job. like it was just cranked out.there are some seriously heavy parts on this cd..or should i say parts that could be heavy. but their recording lacks "balls" persay. i believe several spots in 'the pot' and a very specific part in jambi that could have just used so much more ballsy of an approach when mixing them. doubling up the guitars or just making them fuller.not really the bands fault but more of hte producer
5/4/2006 3:44:21 AM
shoulda gave Albini a ring a ling
5/4/2006 9:16:48 AM
FRIED CHICKEN AND GASOLINE
5/4/2006 9:19:22 AM
i mean maybe this comes from my only experiences in studios being with my band and having spent several years being around the whole 'metal/hardcore' scene being with the band and all but i definitely feel some parts that have the potential to be really heavy that just lack depth coming out of my speakers
5/4/2006 9:24:01 AM
5/4/2006 9:25:16 AM
Used to be a bunch of assholes that lived in this part of the building, here...But we systematically removed them like you would any kind of termite or roach
5/4/2006 11:33:44 AM
jerkoff
5/4/2006 11:35:12 AM
i'm also surprised at the lack of depth in some of hte songs. i put the cd in my surround sound system thinking ok now i'll get the full experience and hear/feel everything that doesn't come through on the headphones (like many of their other songs), and i was kinda disappointed.i still like the cd though.[Edited on May 4, 2006 at 11:47 AM. 5/4/2006 11:38:54 AM
