I wasn't there. My dear little mother was.... and to tell you the truth, I didn't really believe it, but hey, I was trying to help out you losers that can't live without your fix for a couple more days.Who the hell would spend $1000+ on a console that retails for less than half that? *cough*LOSERS*cough* or someone with really spoiled kids.p.s. I use the word "loser" loosely only because there is no better way to describe someone who gets up at 3am to go buy a video game system or pays out the ass for one just so he can have it <insert unspecified amount of time here, like it matters for shit> before his neighbor.

Well supposedly they are going to release a new update that allows for you to put the download in the background and do other things. Plus have integrated software for the webcam accessory. But none of those features made it to this new version. The buzz is that the main (only?) reason for this update was to get rid of the security flaw that allows for the burned kiosk disc to work. http://www.joystiq.com/2006/01/30/360-dash-update-fixed-demo-disc-exploit-too/

Last night someone figured out how to play burned games on the Xbox (not 360) by hacking the firmware of the hard drive. According to him there is now no need for a mod chip or even a soft mod. The guy also mentions that the firmware on the drive is very similar to that of the Xbox 360 and seems pretty optimistic that he will be able to do something similar to the 360. http://www.xboxhacker.net/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=33&topic=285.0[Edited on January 31, 2006 at 11:01 AM.
