yall might be getting rich but this stuff is too complicated
6/29/2005 1:29:23 AM
Did you see that? The minis were printing 1170 and the bigs got to 67 we got it all back. (74.25 on 200). Oh nice try douchbags, took it in stride. Europe took it in the face, UK was on the brink of a rate cut. Now it looks to be highly probable. Europe is cutting rates, Asia is still sucking ass, Ever since 97 few big groups want to take positions in emerging markets. Maybe a slowdown in europe will take enough pressure off oil for us rally 50-100 handles. Looks like there is but one place to park your cash, the USA. I'm throwing a 1250 party.

bought Genentech at 84.65 today.back when i worked in molecular biology i tried to get a job there...i've always been in love with their science, and now its panning out. i wish i wasn't such a wimp earlier. better now than never.
7/12/2005 6:40:38 PM
good call on the CAT stock, I'm up 5% already, not counting the dividend this week.
7/18/2005 1:00:05 PM
what are your thoughts on real estate oriented funds... AIGYX?
7/19/2005 1:29:32 PM
I've got covered calls on a lot of real estate/home building stuff. People are nervous about a bubble bursting so option premiums are pretty good for anything related to real estate.
7/19/2005 2:54:06 PM
what medium to you go through to buy covered calls?
7/19/2005 3:15:15 PM
I do everything with Fidelity. You download a software package called Active Trader to trade with them. Its a great system that I'm very happy with.
7/19/2005 3:23:35 PM
Amgen crushed earnings. My boy in Chicago made out like whoa.
7/20/2005 12:30:20 AM
i am a retard for not buying AMGNi'm keping an eye on LIFC
7/20/2005 11:57:48 AM
I wonder if it has to do with Amgen finally validating that new billion dollar biotech building for increasing production of Embrel...
7/20/2005 1:54:33 PM
If I had the money I would invest in GGP. Yield 3% per year and stock increase average of 10% for 10 years.
7/20/2005 3:29:37 PM
^^ some of it. there is usually a 6-12 month lag from when biotechs allocate money to when projects get started.a lot of it had to do with stellar earnings.
7/20/2005 4:26:24 PM
I was involved in that, which is why I was wondering
7/20/2005 5:15:05 PM
you at Amgen? or your people do business with them?
7/20/2005 5:26:16 PM
Yeah I spent 2 months in Rhode Island working on validating the plant. I've never seen so much stainless steel in my life. I work for a contract validation engineering company. Amgen is a great company.
7/20/2005 5:29:00 PM

7/27/2005 8:40:00 AM
i speculated correctly with RGEN
7/27/2005 11:36:31 AM
I got screwed by TRMB. Fulcrum downgraded them to 'neutral' today and the stock went down by 16%. They pay a good call premium, so I'm not too worried about it. But still, ouch.
7/27/2005 11:42:20 AM
Any thoughts on OMM. Bought it August 04 at $13.25 and sold January @ 22.00. Thinking about getting back in circa 18ish. I hear transport is bearish?

I Bought NFLX at 16.40, should I sell it at 19.60 or hold on for 21?
7/28/2005 10:00:06 AM
sell ... wont last long... digital cable is coming on too strong
7/28/2005 10:20:16 AM
Sell NFLX calls for August at 20. The premium right now is around $0.60. If they don't get called, sell them afterwards.
7/28/2005 10:24:56 AM
CELG is ok, will hang on.MLNM came in below par, will take about 2% hit before i get out...this trading the earnings business is hit or miss
