my buddy down the street is the same way you are, the opposite of mine. we keep watching each other to see if we can learn something the other way, but its just frustrating, heh.

3/23/2007 5:45:09 PM
^^, ^^^frustrating, eh? Sounds like working through on your real golf swing...Maybe its not that Tiger isnt accurate enough, but it is so sensitive that our imperfect golf swings are what we are interpreting as the problem?I've got to buy this game now to see the truth....
3/24/2007 11:08:33 AM
JUST got Madden 07. it's been fun so far. though i find myself flailing about with the wiimote and nunchuck on defense right now (only played it once and created a team)
3/25/2007 8:02:42 AM
I need to try madden, it looks like it could be really fun
3/25/2007 9:51:20 AM
Madden was nothing special. It was cool for about fifteen minutes.

Hey, don't hate just cause you can't throw a real football because your parents didn't love enough.I saw that you went there, it looked like a nice place to visit, so I went there too.
3/25/2007 10:28:08 AM
like i said, it's been fun so far in 1 player, i'm sure that multiplayer will be more fun...hell, even my wife said she wanted to learn how to play it...and really, thats a big deal!

^^ Yeha the female factor for the Wii is perhaps the best part. I cant figure out why they like the Wii sports bowling so much, but ya cant argue with a console that intrigues the ladies.^I CANT WAIT FOR Wii DISCGOLF! or an Ultimate Game for the Wii, that would be badass....
3/25/2007 11:35:36 AM
3/25/2007 1:58:03 PM
madden is NOT fun for the first fifteen minutes. at least not compared to how much fun you have when you actually have learned the controls.also multiplayer is a lot more fun than single player. get four people together and play the multiplayer mini-games. 2-on-2 is awesome.if you have friends that play the wii with you, get madden.also, the godfather continues to impress. it's so deep. i'll be playing this one for a while.
3/25/2007 2:02:38 PM
i need to buy a wii tell me where i can get one.
3/25/2007 7:24:23 PM
^^^^lol wii disc golf, if that ever came out i'd be obligated to get it. hell if it was good i'd have an excuse to never leave the house
3/25/2007 7:37:44 PM
^^eBay
3/25/2007 9:25:55 PM
tiger woods is real fun.i havnt even played zelda, dont think ill like it. but i may give it a try. ill probably just sell it.also rented cooking mama and sonic. neither were impressive
3/25/2007 11:20:11 PM
anybody get one on sunday?
3/26/2007 8:16:37 AM
heres software someone wrote for a loop machine controlled by the wii remote:http://theamazingrolo.blogspot.com/2007/03/wii-loop-machine.htmlthe guy in the video is kind of a dork, but the concept is pretty cool. its only available for mac right now, though.
3/26/2007 9:09:02 AM
^^my friend was 5th in line sunday at circuit city. Got one.I really kinda threw my elbow out in baseball [Edited on March 26, 2007 at 9:21 AM. Reason : -]

^omg, no way. That may be sufficient reason to get that monkey ball game even though what ive seen from it so far is not good.INNOVA should release a DG game through EA or something though.

Virtual Console Releases for March 26:Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire - SNES
3/26/2007 11:21:52 AM
^what a bunch of shit...there are thousands of games still yet to be released and they come out with one damn game...and a crappy one (I assume it's crappy because I've never played it)[Edited on March 26, 2007 at 11:34 AM. Reason : s]
3/26/2007 11:34:29 AM
that loop manipulator thing is sweet. i can't get it to work on my mac though..
3/26/2007 12:06:40 PM
HAHA, i would kill my TV with Wii disc golf. And i'd be much worse in the video game
3/26/2007 12:07:29 PM
still waiting for SSBB......
3/26/2007 1:32:06 PM
Nintendo seriously has to get on the ball with this Shop Channel. I mean XBOX is killing them in terms of legit classic games available to download, which doesnt bode well for the continued success of the Wii.
3/26/2007 1:46:14 PM
^you don't think the extra year helped?nintendo has a great catalogue of games.....I am sure they are trying to pace themselves
3/26/2007 2:32:55 PM
fuck the virtual console!i would kill for a decent WII game.we all had SNES 10 years ago.
3/26/2007 5:10:06 PM
3/26/2007 6:37:15 PM
i'm waiting on metroid prime 3and mario galaxy..
3/26/2007 6:52:57 PM
XBOX LA has Paperboy, Alien Hominid, TMNT Arcade #1, Worms, Defender, Contra, Castlevania SOTN.Virtual Console has Mario Kart and a slew of Zelda games. Not to mention 1980s crap they couldnt sell back then.So I cant really see how a year has helped nintendo.
3/26/2007 7:08:04 PM
Um, the extra year helped XBox 360. Thats what he was saying. More time, more titles . . . make sense?Virtual console also has the original Street Fighter 2 and one of the greatest 2D Bomberman's created.

3/26/2007 7:57:32 PM
3/26/2007 9:14:48 PM
Yeah, they are going to sell games like OoT for $1. Tard. And lets release EVERY Nintendo game ever created at once. That sure won't kill their bandwidth with tons of simultaneous downloads. And surely, SURELY, releasing all these games all at once wouldn't hurt sales of newer releases. And third party companies were pissed at Wii Sports being included with the Wii, so they SURELY wouldn't mind thousands of games being out for the system at 1/50th of the price of their new game. That wouldn't hurt their ability to convince new companies to buy into their system.Things sell better when released in waves. Give a consumer time to play something that "just" came out before you hit them with something else. You lose. GTFO.[Edited on March 26, 2007 at 10:10 PM. Reason : .]
3/26/2007 10:09:20 PM
Wow. such hostility.I guess that goes to show what happens when you piss off a fanboy.
3/26/2007 10:40:37 PM
No, no, El Nacho's right, flooding the market is a great idea.FOR ME TO POOP ON!!
3/26/2007 10:44:40 PM
I guess that goes to show what happens when you piss off a fanboy.
3/26/2007 10:46:13 PM
I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't think the BEST way to release them would be all at once. I'm just saying that the idea that they somehow NEED time to "get them ready" is ridiculously stupid. And they are drastically overpriced. And CapnObvious is a raging toolbag. That is all.
3/26/2007 10:48:03 PM
El Nacho' has such a great track record in this threadhow's that "no shortages evAr" claim working out for you, nacho man? last i looked, you STILL can't find a wii reliably at any store in town whenever you want... and its only been FOUR FUCKING MONTHS since launchgoddamn you were off the mark
3/26/2007 10:51:11 PM
I'll man up and admit I was wrong. No one saw this coming. How's pwning TWW working out for you?
3/26/2007 10:55:24 PM
well actually, lots of people saw the shortage coming. in fact, just about everyone who was calling you out for being a dumbass saw it coming.kind of like what's happening on this page re. Virtual Console[Edited on March 26, 2007 at 11:00 PM. Reason : s]
3/26/2007 11:00:38 PM
At least I can admit I was wrong. Unlike you.The last time we were in an argument and I made you look like a fool you just bolted and never manned up to face facts. You are such a "me too" troll Excretor. You've never had an original idea in all of TWW. You come along when shit's already stirred up, jump on whatever side looks like it has the advantage, and make a giant jackass out of yourself. No one saw shortages like this coming. Not 4 months later. Not you, not industry experts, and certainly not anyone in this thread. Go troll elsewhere.]
3/26/2007 11:09:18 PM
i rest my case. carry on tww
3/26/2007 11:10:27 PM
But I need the last word! ]
3/26/2007 11:11:29 PM
Nintendo clearly has the advantage when it comes to the library of games available for release, but I'd like to see them step up in areas MS rules. Xbox Live Arcade games have online play and enhanced graphics. On top of that, the Wii might have to settle for inferior ports of arcade games while the 360 gets a (mostly) arcade-perfect port. The most obvious examples of this are TMNT: The Arcade Game and Street Fighter II Turbo (although the 360 port of SFII is reportedly shitty). In some cases the home version released years ago is actually an improvement (like Contra), but that's the exception. Xbox Live users can d/l the four-player, arcade version of TMNT for the same price that Wii owners would pay if the inferior, two-player version on the NES were rereleased. And if we're only going to get an emulated game, Nintendo should make online play via the VC titles part of their online scheme. Homebrew emulators have been doing this for years and there's even a basic matchmaking service available.
